Home Depot Tool Deals of the Day with Milwaukee and Ryobi Bundles for 8-18-25

Home Depot started off the work week with another round of tool deals of the day for 8/18/25, featuring a broad selection of tools from Milwaukee and Ryobi, with some Dewalt, Ridgid, and other brands mixed in.

Home Depot says this deal saves you:

  • Up to 50% off Select Power Tool Kits & Combos
  • Up to 40% off Select Outdoor Power Equipment & Power Tools
  • Up to 45% off Select Hand Tools & Accessories

A lot of these deals are repeats, but there are also some new bundles and bargains mixed in.

Milwaukee’s excellent M12 compact brushless combo kit is no longer promo-priced at $149, but you can get it plus a 45pc accessory set for $169. The bit set is a $20 special buy right now, and so the pricing works out to be the same.

There’s a good deal on an M18 bundle where you get the compact brushless 2-tool combo kit plus an M18 Fuel impact driver for $229. The price seems very good for what you get, although I wish but it was bundled with an impact wrench or brushless ratchet instead of a second albeit better impact driver.

I also spotted a new Milwaukee M18 starter kit bundle, where you can get an M18 Rapid Charger, FORGE 8Ah battery, and 5Ah battery for $249. The Forge battery by itself is $229 right now – this deal bundle is a good value at just $20 more.

Tool deals end at 3am ET 8/19/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.

Amazon has a mix of tool deals, mostly non-branded junk with some “I’d buy that” brands mixed in such as Dewalt and Metabo HPT.

Quick note – this is my third attempt at buying the Ryobi 2-fan hybrid (18v + 120v) pack on special for $89. The previous generation of these fans were great but I’ve only got one left. So far, for both the previous 2-packs the fans initially work fine except if you leave them on high, 30 minutes later they’ll inevitably be pointing skyward. Also, there’s no way to adjust the tension on the joints, they’re sealed – stupid design. Yes, there’s a cap you can pry off to get to the adjustment, but it’s not intended to be removed and looks like it needs to be damaged to get there.

Reviewers of individual fans seem to indicate this is a rare occurrence, like a 1-in-100 lemon, but both fans in both of my previous 2-packs exhibited it. Giving it one more go because if they work, they’re great and a great value but … sigh.

I don’t track the M12 deals closely but that M12 Crown Stapler with 2x 2Ah batteries isn’t bad for $129.

The M12 Recip+M12 Multi tool-only + charger with no batteries for $199 is a combo I don’t think I’ve seen before. The recip is marked in the photos as the fuel brushless variant. Multi tool is non-fuel.

From our discussion last week on the “ProPro” vs. “ProSumer” series products. Interested to see a discount on the lockbolt tool. That’s very niche.

At $10 less than the “special buy” on the bare tool yeah that T50 stapler kit is a decent deal Lol. Plenty of cheaper powered options if you don’t need cordless though. IIRC I paid $20 for my pneumatic Arrow.

I think the Hackzall kit does include a 4.0 battery. Listing is a bit of a mess because it mentions both -20 and -21XC in different places. And FWIW the free OMT is light duty at best.

Super thick grease or glue injected into the plastic cravity with a syringe that’s hot enough to melt through?

Third package of the fans, same thing. 30minutes on high and they inevitably slowly point to the ceiling.

I can’t believe there are so many positive comments about them on HDs site and only just a couple of people with the same experience as me.

      :shrugs:

Ah I think you’re right. I hadn’t seen the 4Ah battery photo or the bottom of the description:
    “Includes 2520-20 M12 FUEL HACKZALL reciprocating saw, multi-material blade, 48-59-2401 M12 lithium-ion battery charger, 48-11-2440 M12 REDLITHIUM XC 4.0Ah battery and contractor bag, M12 Oscillating Multi-Tool (2426-20)”

So for the fuel hackzall, 1 all purpose blade, 4Ah battery, charger, OMT, and bag for $199 is definitely interesting. Hope someone orders so we can see what actually shows up!

Just ordered the 4 tool m12 fuel kit and the cut off tool deal.
The 4 tool has the 2-,speed fuel screwdriver, rover light, high speed 3/8 ratchet, the new rt angle die grinder, 2 batteries, charger and bag for 399.

The 3″ cut off tool and 2- 5.0 ho batteries for 199.
I try to keep a eye on the daily special buy, I have gotten some good deals on there
