Home Depot Tool Deals of the Day 9-3-24 Featuring Milwaukee and Ryobi Cordless Combos

Home Depot has new tool deals of the day for September 3, 2024, featuring Milwaukee, Ryobi, Dewalt, and Ridgid, with offerings from Bosch, Makita, and Crescent mixed in.

Some of the better deals are already sold out, such as the Dewalt table saw and folding stand for $299. When that happens, check back later, as every so often there’s a surprise restock.

Here are some of the deals that caught my attention:

Milwaukee M18 Fuel barrel grip jig saw with battery – $169
Milwaukee 20pc hole saw set – $99.97
Milwaukee 10pc carbide-tooth hole saw set – $129
Milwaukee M18 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo kit with bonus 8Ah battery – $349
Milwaukee M18 Fuel cordless belt sander with 5Ah battery – $229

As usual, it’s usually worth quickly scrolling through the full landing page to see if a deal checks off any tools from your shopping list.

Today’s deals end at 3am ET 9/4/24 unless supplies sell out sooner.

The Milwaukee 20 pieces hole saw kit is better buy than the same one bundled with a bit set special buy last week. I highly recommend the new M12 jigsaw. With some mods and special blades, it is my new if-I-can-bring-only-one saw.

Is the one you’re talking about a barrel-grip or standard jigsaw?

Here’s referring to the new barrel grip fuel model probably. I use a jigsaw for chopping crown and have used Bosch, festool, festool carvex, Makita lxt, Dewalt 20v, Bosch 12volt and the new 12 MW is the best jigsaw for coping, FINALLY. All the rest listed have some pretty good drawbacks, but the m12 fuel has almost none. The only tiny drawback I can find is if you don’t specifically make sure the blade is inserted fully, it won’t be fully parallel with the base. No other saw has that issue, but with this little one, you have to learn that quick.

          HD has the M12-Fuel – with a XC-4.0Ah battery for $150 – seems like a decent deal:

Supposedly the 2 pack of 5 ah m12 batteries from HD are going to have a free tool deal which is hackable meaning you can return the batteries and keep the bare tool. The tool will only be around $100 when it would normally run much higher. You can already find some of the tools that will be free with existing kits but the hack currently isn’t live yet but supposedly at some locations in person it is live. ToolNut has a similar deal but it won’t be hackable.

That deal is now live, $199 for pair of 5.0ho + tool or $129 for pair of 2.0’s + tool. Not many deals if you want to do the battery return “hack”, though the 3453-20 1/4 impact driver for $67 with the 2.0 batteries hacked is a good deal. You can hack the 5.0 deal to get a pair of 5.0s + a charger for $100 if you return the shear, that’s an unbeatable deal on new M12 batteries if you need some.

For anyone unfamiliar with the battery hack you want the “free” item to be as expensive as possible. With the $199 5.0 set the $140 retail 3453 is $82 adjusted while it is $67 with the $129 2.0 set because it’s a greater overall percentage of the adjusted total $.
