Over at a forum, someone lamented that there were no Jet parallel clamp deals this holiday season. But… there are.
We noticed Jet parallel clamps at several woodworking and online tool retailers. It could be that other authorized Jet dealers are participating in the sale. Please let us know if you come across any other dealers who are discounted Jet parallel clamps for the holidays.
What’s a parallel clamp? In short, parallel clamps are used to apply even and strong pressure, and are very useful for woodworking glue-up projects. Jet parallel clamps are among the best, and are favored by many woodworkers. We’ve often seen them compared head-to-head with Bessey as the best clamps generally available.

Some of these look like good deals – especially since I don’t see any deals on their Bessey or Jogensen countparts where 4-clamp sets seem to be selling in the $190 to $220 price range.

I’ve accumulated about a dozen Jet 24″ and 40″ parallel clamps. They’re well-built. If I had room on my clamp rack, I’d probably buy another half dozen.
That said, unless I’m assembling a cabinet, they’re not my go-to clamps. They’re heavy and bulky and that limits how and where you can use them. For general-purpose clamping, my F- and C-style clamps see a lot more use. It’s kind of funny to admit but of all the money I’ve spent on clamps over the years, my most-used clamps around the shop and house just might by my 6″ F-style Harbor Freight clamps. I think they cost maybe $2 apiece on sale…

Home Depot is still having the Bessey K-Body REVO sale ($40 for everything 31-50″), which is slightly more than the Jet, but the Jets seem to not be as loved as the Besseys.
robert
whoah, crazy good prices on the besseys.
yes, they’re way better quality than the jets or the jorgensens.
not the revo jr, though. Those are meh.

ps, steer clear of the irwins. fine thread.
