Thanks for the tip. What is the sae equivalent for the hex set? The only one I found was the pouch kit. Both come to $70 with shipping from kctool which is more than I want to spend on hex wrenches.

That promo set with the four sockets has been on my shopping list for a bit and so I was in like flint when it popped up at 12:00am. I’ve had the 1/4” version of the ratchet since it came out. Aside from the handle slipping off in warm weather once; it’s been very good. It’s pretty close to a Dual80 that’s been packed with SuperLube. I had been looking at the Koken’a for the knurling (and the similar old school Proto like GEDORE U-10 is a favourite of mine), but I couldn’t say no to the opportunity of buying from KC at the prices we can get direct from Europe.

I was ordering from Amazon Germany anyway, picked up just the ratchet for ~46 EUR excl VAT, which comes out to be $55. There’s international shipping to consider, but I’m saving enough on my total order to still make it worth it.

I could use more 1/2″ sockets, but inch, not metric, otherwise I would have sprung for the kit. Now of course I’m second guessing myself.
