Klein Holiday Tool Bundle

Over at Home Depot, there’s a new Klein hand tool bundle pack in the promo section, and it looks to be a very good buy. You get 6 popular Klein tools, for $60.

Thank you to everyone who sent in a tip about this!

I checked this out during my last trip to Home Depot, and as per the back of the packaging, all of these tools are made in the USA, except for the voltage tester.

Price: $60

Buy Now

I bought my first Klein tools as part of a bundle pack, which I believe came with side-cutting pliers (Lineman’s pliers), general purpose wire strippers, and a 6-in-1 screwdriver. If I recall correctly, the bundle was $35 regularly, but being clearanced out at $25.

This seems like a great deal, especially considering that just the Lineman’s-style pliers and diagonal cutters will set you back $50. So with this kit, it’s almost like you’re buying the two pliers and getting everything else for free.

TIP: Add a Milwaukee Inkzall marker to your order, or something else that’s inexpensive, and use coupon code HDHOLIDAY to take an extra $5 off. The coupon expires 12/3/15.

Since supplies seem to be running out at all the Home Depot locations near us, you might want to order online – that way an associate will collect one for you for store pick-up. Plus, you can’t save that extra $5 in stores, it’s an online-only coupon.

If I were looking to upgrade my electrical hand tools, or buy my first electrical hand tools, I’d hope on this deal without hesitation.

If you’re in the market for a basic electrical kit or a starter kit for a new apprentice, this is a no-brainer. Although a personal preference however, I’d like it better if the diagonal cutter was replaced with 8″ needle nose pliers.

If I was starting out or looking for a basic kit, I’d want the needle nose before I’d look for diagonals. Again, personal preference, although I’d wager that a lot of others would feel the same.

I wouldn’t be without that Klein Diag cutter – have one in each of three tool bags. What I could do without are the linesman pliers, have a few pair of these and have yet to ever find a good use for them. Too bulky and large for the capacity they offer.

The title says $50, but there are two places in the article it says $60.

I clicked the link, which is showing $49.88 ($50).

I own all of these tools (although not all Klein), and it is a great deal. I prefer those curved wire strippers and the NCVT-2, but not enough to whine about.

I think my dad could probably use this because he gave away a whole bag of electric tools to a guy that was trying to get things back on track who also happened to be a former electrician. If I remember correctly, the guy had the bag stolen from his truck the next week, so he could probably use this deal too…
