Excel 5 Section Cantilever Tool Box

Does anyone have experience with these affordably priced Excel tool boxes & storage units? They look good on paper (and on screen), but we’re not too familiar with the brand.

I’ve ordered one of these 14″ 5-section cantilever toolboxes as a sample ($15 and change with free shipping), and while I’m not expecting Snap on quality, I’m hoping to be surprised. The one or two reviews I’ve seen thus far seem to be pretty positive.

The ToolboxDirect link you provided is for a 18″ box, while the Amazon link is for a
14″ box. Either one looks like a good value. I have read some positive reviews on the Garage Journal forum.

Looks like you’re right, sorry about that. The post has been corrected.

I have the 18″ have not used it much but for under $40 I am very happy with it.
I would buy Excel next time I need a small box.

I have the 16″ 3-layer (7-slot) cantilever box and love it. If it had wheels or a stool to fit it in, I’d be in love.
