This is the first Dewalt 12v deal I have seen for awhile, aside from the buy the combo kit get a free tool deal that has been running for a few months. It also seems like a great price for that kit.

Agreed!! It’s normally a lot more – $129 seems like a very good price.
There are a lot of 18V drill + impact driver combo kit special buys at the $149 price point, but I’d take this 12V Max Xtreme SubCompact kit over most of those 18V options. The only exception to this would be the Metabo HPT drill & Triple Hammer combo at $149.

I’ve got more legwork to do – last week only 1 out of my 3 stores had anything on the sales floor.

Unless Flex gets aggressive with sales and promos, they’re going to collect a ton of dust. I haven’t seen a single promo/sale or reduced price sticker since they’ve launched. If they can’t do it after being out on the market for over 6 months, when are they planning to?
Of those listed, the 12v DeWalt Xtreme kit is the best deal. I much prefer it to the M12 lineup for ergonomics alone.

The two compressors have seen better sales in the last few months. The 26gal Quiettech is currently $329 at my store and has been for a few weeks.
Less than a 10% discount is hardly a “deal”. I’ve noticed Lowe’s doing this sort of thing more recently. Lowe’s is relying on the people who only shop black friday deals because they follow the marketing.

They haven’t had any big sales, and I figured Black Friday should see some action, especially since their “Flex Founder” program is set to expire by the end of the year. Instead, we get a whopping two items for sale. Rad. Also, it’d be nice if Kobalt continued their XTR line, but instead they’re rolling out the same 24v tools they’ve pushed for almost 6 years.
