Lowe’s has a special buy right now where you can get the Dewalt DCR010 Bluetooth speaker with a 20V Max 2Ah battery and charger for $129.
That seems like a good deal, although I’m not sure I’d agree with the “$289+ value” claim.

It has a dual speaker design, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging, an aux input port, carrying handle, phone holder, and impact-resistant housing.

This is basically a special bundle that Lowe’s and Dewalt cooked up to entice holiday season shoppers, but that doesn’t stop it from being a good value.
Deal Price: $129
You might have noticed the blower kit in the top image – it’s anther deal right now at the same price. I think they’re both good deals for what you get.
Is it actually a good deal? Let’s check the price for just the speaker:
Amazon has it for $98.49
Acme Tools has it for $99
Ohio Power Tool has it for $99
Home Depot has it for $99
Getting the same speaker with a Dewalt 20V Max 2Ah battery and charger for $30 more seems like a good bargain. If not, save the money and go for the speaker.

It’s not flying off the shelves, and so you have some time to think it over and potentially shop around.

I have the DCR010 Bluetooth speaker. It’s been around $100 for years. I really like its design — size, shape, handle, buttons, etc., etc. It just feels like rugged quality. I also like that it runs via 20v battery or AC. The sound though… GARBAGE. I spent a fair amount of time with it and various audio equalizer apps trying to make it at least enjoyable but it’s just garbage. Haven’t touched it since. Now, I suppose if you wanted to stream a podcast or talk radio or some other form of spoken word, it would do just fine. But for music… garbage.

This is a prime example of Dewalt’s “Inflation Price Increase For 2025”. I dont have the historic data in front of me, but to the point of the 1st comment from “Higgi”, these items both scream $99.
I dont dispute the decent value at $129, but I know I have seen these for the $99 value price point. Just my opinion.
To me I wouldn’t entertain it at this price, even comparing to normal, ala cart or bare pricing. Just me though. But I see the point it is still decently priced.

Used to be $99, choice of work light or speaker. Both very good products, and yes the speaker is good and rugged and sounds good as well if working construction. It’s not high fidelity, it’s a solid work speaker

I’d buy the Milwaukee $199, starter kit get their RADIO/Bluetooth speaker… 2 batts a charger, and the Radio is hybrid, can 110v, and charge a battery too… So ya got 2 chargers, & free “free” RADIO!!!

They have this bundle for $99 at
Home Depot, Acme, Amazon & Ohio Tools. Not sure how the warranty when purchased from Amazon.
Oh & from what i understand Lowes will price match the $99 bundle from from Home Depot.
Stuart
They do not; none of those stores have the same bundle.

This speaker is rugged, that’s for sure. But you can get WAY better sound for less $$ from speakers found on Amazon (Soundcore is my choice).
