Over at Lowe’s, as part of their deal of the day, they have two notable tool promos.
First, they have the Dewalt DCKSS276C2 20V Max compact brushless combo kit priced at $199. This kit includes their “special buy” DCD778 brushless hammer drill and DCF787 impact driver, a charger, (2) 1.3Ah batteries, and a tool bag.

Plus, you get your choice of bonus tool, from the following bare tool options:
- Reciprocating saw
- Jobsite fan
- Random orbit sander (brushless)
- Oscillating multi-tool (brushless)
- 1/4 sheet finish sander (brushless)
This seems like a decent deal if you were looking to buy any of the bare tools, such as the jobsite fan ($99 at Amazon), and the featured combo kit. Otherwise, if all of this isn’t on your shopping list already, perhaps wait for a different deal.
The Craftsman 20V Max cordless reciprocating saw deal, however, is a lot better in my opinion.
Here, you get the Craftsman recip saw KIT (model CMCS300M1), with 4.0Ah battery and a charger, for $89. Features include a pivoting shoe, tool-free blade release, and 1-inch stroke length.

On top of the deal pricing, you also get a free 11pc set of Craftsman USA-made reciprocating saw blades.
Bundle Price: $89
Adding the reciprocating saw kit to your cart automatically adds the free bonus gift to your cart as well. For comparison, Amazon (direct) has the same Craftsman cordless reciprocating saw kit priced at $149.

The 11pc blade set is an assortment of bi-metal blades for various wood and metal cutting tasks. It’s regularly priced at $20.
Both deals are said to end at 3am ET 7/14/21, unless supplies sell out sooner.

The Dewalt combo/free gift isn’t working on my iPhone…

It works on mine.
Select the free gift. Add both to cart.
Initially, Lowe’s will show you the combined pricing, but if you view your cart, the discount is applied and you’ll see “FREE” next to the price of the selected gift item.
This confused me for a moment when I tested it out, but you should see the correct promo pricing in-cart and at checkout. Or are you seeing a different kind of issue?

The drill looks like a composite of several drills. It also doesn’t say it’s the XR or brushless version, though the ad says it is. If you look at the Dewalt website it has that part of the drill cropped off. I think they just didn’t have an updated picture for it and they mixed pictures together or something. It should come with the same emblem as the impact. Makes this deal worth getting if you need those tools, albeit with a plan to get a +4ah battery in the future.
