Early Holiday Deal: Makita $25 off $100+ Select Tools

Makita 2014 Holiday Amazon Sale

As mentioned earlier, Amazon has already kicked off their 2014 Black Friday tool deals countdown. One of those deals is Makita’s holiday season $25 off $100+ promo.

Add over $100 worth of eligible tools to your cart, and you see the $25 discount instantly at checkout.

Although the promo is for “select tools,” I cannot seem to find any notable exclusions. I checked, and the discount can be used on cordless kits, bare tools, corded power tools, and accessories. If something you’re looking to buy isn’t eligible for the promo, please let us know in comments!

Even recent releases, such as the extreme torque drill and hammer drill bare tools are eligible for the promo discount. The drill/driver kit as well, but it’s not yet in stock. The special $99 18V drill/driver kit is not eligible for the promo.

The only catch is that tools must be sold and shipped directly by Amazon, and not 3rd party marketplace sellers.

Eligible Tools(via Amazon)

Deal expires 12/31/2014. Popular models might sell out and become unavailable for purchase, but that doesn’t happen often.

This deal is part of Amazon’s 2014 Black Friday Tool Deals Countdown Promo

I tried it on this (cordless-brushless drywall screwdriver):

Unfortunately it did not work – maybe because its just released.

I think you’re right. It looks like that item hasn’t been received by Amazon yet.

I was able to get it on the Makita XHU02Z 18V LXT Hedge Trimmer. Sadly, for my wallet, I am probably not done.

Don’t worry, you have plenty of time before the promo expires.

With similar Bosch and Dewalt promos, I tend to spend heavily at the beginning and then again at the end.
