CPO has an exclusive 48-hour Makita promo – save 15% off $150+ select tool purchases.
This promo includes corded power tools, cordless power tools – 12V Max, 18V, XGT 40V Max, and also select modular tool boxes.
It does not look like backorders will be allowed – I checked the XGT plunge-cutting saw and although it was available for purchase last night, it’s now listed as sold-out.

Unfortunately, the new Subcompact oscillating multi-tool is NOT eligible for this promo, as it’s already promo priced at $199.

Ugh, still no new multi-tool included…
Stuart
Nope. I keep looking, but none of the promo discounts have applied to it.

Lowe’s has the DeWt $199 deal for 2 5ah batteries and charger with a free tool that is very similar to the 4/6ah deal that Home Depot had last month. Started on the 9th.

All the reasonably priced miter saws out of stock it seems.
Paul
Is this a rare promotion that includes XGT or can we expect to see some more in the next 6 months or so? Like the possibility of a free battery with a miter saw or a track included with the plunge saw kit? Thinking of buying the 10″ 40v miter saw. It looks to be included in the 15% off promotion.
Stuart
There aren’t usually promotions like this. There was an XGT promo a couple of months ago, and now we’re in holiday promo season.

Thanks for the tip. I got a Barrel Grio Cordless Jigsaw headed my way. Supposedly their last one! Anxious to see how easy it is to cut with and how clean it cuts. Never used a jigsaw before. I didn’t see a track and adapter to buy. I don’t guess it’s going to be as clean as a track saw, but was hoping its close. I’ll be looking for the 36v track saw next year.

I don’t see any great deals. Seems like they only slightly discount tools that aren’t selling as well or you have to spend over $400.
Makita doesn’t generally discount their tools much. A lot of razzle dazzle.
