Home Depot has another round of tool deals of the day, featuring huge savings on Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ridgid, and more.
Some of these deals are of the “RUN, DON’T WALK” type, the kind where I’m not entirely sure someone didn’t make a massive mistake.
Update 11/10/22: These deals have ended. See our latest post for deals on Dewalt, Milwaukee, and more. Subscribe to our newsletter (daily updates) to ensure you don’t miss any of our holiday season tool deal coverage. See more recent tool deals here. You can also follow @ToolGuyd on Instagram.

For instance, you can get the excellent Milwaukee M12 Rocket LED tripod worklight, plus a brand new M12 High Output 2.5Ah battery, for $139.
With this deal, you get a light that sells for $199 by itself (although there are occasionally promos), plus a battery that retailers for $79 right now as a “special buy,” for $139?! How does that make sense?
There’s a separate promo right now (don’t buy this one today), where you get the M12 LED light and 2.5Ah battery as a free bonus for $199. That seems like a typical promo, to put things into context. $139? As I said – RUN, DON’T WALK – at least if the M12 tripod light is on your wishlist or shopping list.
Then, there’s the M18 Rocket light with 2x M18 6Ah High Output batteries, and an M18 Fuel brushless 3/8″ impact wrench, for $329. Going by Home Depot’s current prices, the impact sells for $219, the M18 Rocket LED worklight sells for $229, and the M18 High Output XC 6Ah battery 2-pack sells for $279 right now. So, you get $727 in premium Milwaukee tools and batteries for $329?

A different promo, with the M18 Rocket light, 2x XC HO 6Ah batteries, and M18 Fuel Sawzall (which sells for $199 by itself) is $319. That’s $707 in gear for $319. You save big, even if you only want 2 out of 3 parts of what you get!
There are Milwaukee Shockwave accessory sets on sale for less than they typically go for on Black Friday, such as the 100pc Shockwave bit set and Packout organizer bundle. This set is a great buy at half off, which is $50. Right now it’s $42.97.
A Packout half-width shallow organizer is $30 by itself. So for $13 more, you get a 100pc Shockwave bit set that includes a great selection of bits – including many longer power bits.
Dewalt’s compact jobsite table saw is usually a good deal at its seasonal price of $299. There’s also a bundle with folding stand, and that’s been selling at its very good seasonal price of $329. Here, you get the bundle with the folding stand, for $299.
The Dewalt 20V Max compact brushless reciprocating saw typically sells for $199 by itself. Today, you can get the same saw, plus a 3-pack of batteries with 2Ah, 4Ah, and 6Ah for… $199?!
If you already have a recip saw in your Dewalt kit, check out the 20V Max brushless circular saw with 3 batteries fir $199.

Okay, so Home Depot has a great promo right now – buy the latest and greatest Milwaukee M18 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo kit for $399, and you get a free tool. Here, buy that combo and select the M18 Fuel router, and the price is $379.
They have a Milwaukee M18 FUEL SDS Plus rotary hammer kit, which normally sells for $599. They added in another XC HO 6Ah battery, and dropped the price to $519.
Also on sale are Milwaukee locking pliers and a utility knife set, conduit benders, Ridgid 18V cordless power tools, a couple of Ryobi 18V bundles, and more. I highlighted most of the incredible deals here, but check the link in case I missed something you might have been waiting for a great deal on.
Home Depot’s deals end at 3am ET 11/10/22 unless supplies sell out sooner.
More Tool Deals!

Tool Nut’s Milwaukee Tool 15% off flash sale is still going, but might end anytime now.
Readers have been buying all kinds of tools, from M12 die grinders to PEX expanders. This is one of the best deals I’ve seen with no restrictions other than excluding sale items, heated gear, and Packout.
KC Tool Deal of the Day – Stahlwille 8pc double open ended wrench set for $65.
Rob H
I picked up the 1/2” Husky sockets. Wish the metric set was on sale as well!
JoeH
The Impact sets? The Metric set is on sale too, H2DMMI11PCSR (Rail) or H2DDIMP11PCM (Case)
Rob H
Thanks, I had toggled to metric, but not on the 11 piece set, I was on the 13.
Gerald Paul Golen
The H.D. Impact 1/2″ socket set that is on sale is ONLY the 13 pc. SAE.
Jim
For $42 I just bought another one of packout bit sets. The case is $30 which I was eventually going to buy another one of anyway, so as you said for $12 I have (another) half a lifetime supply of bits. It’s a good set.
That M12 rocket light deal is amazing, and i would def pull the trigger on that one if I didn’t already have the light. To anyone on the fence just buy it, I use mine all the time.
Minions Web
Any time the DeWalt batteries are less than $15 per amp hour is a decent deal, here is 17 amp hours for 199, so about 11.70 per a/h

I bought the rocket light for $79 at HD when they clearanced them about 2 years ago. I tried to like it, but for the situations where I needed a tower light my 18v was better, and situations that needed a smaller light, the radius light was better.

FWIW – ToolUp has a 10% off (any regularly priced item) flash sale – using code ANYSALE
Luke
Thanks for this. I just snagged the M18 rocket light + 2 6Ah HO batteries + 3/8 impact. It’s rare to see red things at 55% off… hard to pass up 😬
Doresoom
Thanks for the heads up – I snagged the new M12 HO battery two pack (one 2.5Ah and one 5Ah) for 25% off. That’s the best sale I’ve seen for them so far.
KokoTheTalkingApe
Nice! It seems like this is turning out to be a good season for sales, after a dry spell, especially for DeWalt.
david
It looks like it might have been an error, I am unable to buy the 319 package light, sawzall, 2 6.0 batteries…..
Stuart
Try again – it works for me; I can get all the way to payment processing on the checkout page without any errors.
david
That’s where the problem is, after I enter payment details it says unable to complete purchase items in your cart are no longer available. I had to call them and it took a while for them to get it to go through, the site is having issues. I’m glad I got the deal, but they accidently sent me 2 orders… i’ll be returning 1 kit.
Stuart
I’m glad it worked out well for you in the end! If the orders are still being processed, you might be able to cancel one of them.
Still, two orders with one having to be returned is better than none.
Ben Kripps
I can’t find this on the Home Depot website and no link posted above?
Stuart
It looks like it sold out and was moved to the bottom of the deals page. The other M18 Rocket deal discussed in the post is still available.
MM
HD has several other good deals which don’t show up under “deals of the day”:
2 Flexvolt batts, 1x 9ah and 1x 6ah, for $249.
Flexvolt Advantage recip saw (DCS386B) for $169.
Flexvolt Recip saw w/ 9ah batt for $269.
Dewalt 3-battery pack: 4ah 20V + 6ah 20V + 6ah Flexvolt for $199.
Stuart
Thanks! Some of those deals are in their gift center. I have been updating my roundup post, here – https://toolguyd.com/home-depot-black-friday-2022-tool-deals/ – and will add these to the mix as well!
The last one is actually the same as their “buy a starter kit, get a free tool promo” – https://toolguyd.com/dewalt-free-cordless-tool-deals-home-depot-black-friday-2022/
Some of those deals are listed separately, presumably in case a shopper misses the starter kit promo but are likely to enticed by seeing 3 batteries in a bundle.
MM
Something else I just noticed (sorry if you already posted about it and I missed it), but Acme has a Black Friday deal on many Flex cordless tool kits, buy the kit and get a free 5ah batt.
MM
There is also another FLEX deal where if you buy the 6ah “Stacked Lithium starter kit” you get a free tool with a pretty good list to pick from. The starter kit has a 6ah pouch-style lithium battery (same general idea as the Dewalt Powerstack), and a fast charger rated at 280 watts. So for $249 you get a great battery, one tool, and a high-end charger. Not bad.
And speaking of FLEX chargers, while it is not on sale I just noticed there is a 550 watt model! That’s nuts, roughly 23 amps!

Amazon has matched HD’s price on Milwaukee’s 100 piece Shockwave and Packout bundle: $42.97

Thanks Stuart for these updates! I’m holding out for some Knock-your-socks-off deals on a chainsaw, blower and/or cordless vac, all in the M18 platform. Maybe it’s just bad timing…..but can’t seem to find any great deals. I’m guessing 15% off might be the best I’ll find this year. But much gratitude for this site, though.
Stuart
The M18 shop vac is on sale with a free nozzle selection with purchase. via Home Depot
Other retailers have different promos, including ToolNut, and so coupons and promos aren’t likely to apply. Acme has some deals on the M18 chainsaw and a blower bundle – https://toolguyd.com/acme-tools-black-friday-2022-deals/ .
Thank you, I appreciate your kinds words. I love analyzing and sharing deals, but I’m also looking forward to the week after Thanksgiving when I can finally start slowing down and get back to projects and reviews.
Joatman
Well, you’re almost there!
We just moved to a new house on a 3 acre lot….so now I’m forced to upgrade my outdoor tool arsenal. I recently bought my first M18 tool….the string trimmer….and that was all it took. Now I’m looking for the others mentioned above….particularly a 16” M18 chainsaw. I remember a couple rants that I posted here in the past about how there were too many deals out there that offered free batteries with the purchase of a bare tool, and how I’d rather see the bare tool discounted more, instead of accumulating more batteries. Now…..it’s come back to bite me…..now I need some more batteries for the tools I need to buy. Lol. Looks like I have some options to consider……maybe buy the 2pk M18 5ah batteries at Acme and get a free blower…..all for $199. That’s not bad! Thanks again, Stuart.
BTW, some of the multi tool combo deals out there are crazy good for someone who is just starting their journey!
Tucker
Home Depot has the M18 router + 2 5.0XC batteries for $199 as well https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-FUEL-18V-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Compact-Router-with-Two-5-0ah-and-Charger-48-59-1852B-2723-20/322134515
Stuart
That’s just this deal, and not a deal of the day – https://toolguyd.com/home-depot-milwaukee-m18-fuel-black-friday-deals-2022/ .
Mike+I
Picked up the light and the packout bits. Please stop posting these deals before I get in trouble with the spouse. 🙂
Stuart
You might want to close your eyes for the next 3 weeks or so!!
Ruslan C.
Stuart, you cost me $750 already and it is just the beginning of the sale in the second half of the year )) I think that half of my tools I purchased after following your page in the last 5-6 years.
Stuart
But how much money have I saved you?! =)
Rich W.
Did anyone get the M12 Rocket Light with battery yet? I just got the two I ordered and there’s no battery with it or in it. I contacted HD, and they told me to dispute it with my credit card company?!? No discussions, no asking me to read back the numbers on the box, or send a picture; just go dispute the purchase. I’ve never had something like that happen with HD.
Ben
I just got one. I was momentarily worried the same thing happened to me, but then the battery was just packaged separately and got balled up in the packing paper. FWIW.
Also, FWIW, my initial reaction is I thought it might be brighter. It also would be better with multiple light levels. Still a great deal as I’ve been waiting for one to come along.
