I work with The Old Guard from 0400 to 1300 today, monitoring the observance in Arlington. As always, it was beautifully executed by the joint services, Army Band and Coast Guard band.

Today is a day of remembrance for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. I miss too many personal friends on a daily basis. Not all gave their lives in combat, but all served their country well.
