Milwaukee 5pc Hex Bit Holder with Carabiner Empty Display at Home Depot

My local Home Depot store had the Milwaukee 5pc hex bit holder and carabiner set (48-32-4537) on sale for $12.97, from its regular price of $14.97.

Hey, $2 savings might seem small, but it’s still a discount of around 13.3%. $2 here and there adds up, especially if you’re buying a lot.

Here’s the good news: you can get the same discount when you buy online AND I’m seeing free shipping with no minimum order amount at Home Depot.

So that’s $13 to your door. You don’t have to drive around only to see the same empty display that I found at my Home Depot store.

I bought two sets when they first came out, and have another that Milwaukee gave me. I think these are good bit storage holders.

Buy it at Home Depot
See it at Ohio Power Tool
See it at Acme Tools

I am seeing the discounted price, along with free delivery. Sometimes prices might vary depending on location – please let me know if you’re seeing different pricing.

Update: Other Milwaukee tool dealers are matching Home Depot’s price, but not the free shipping.

I predicted that these would find their way to the promo sales floor at Home Depot stores, and I also said “it’ll sell through in a week.” That was before I knew they’d drop the price by more than 10%. I’m glad to see the opportunity to buy them online too, especially with free shipping.

This is why I keep a list of what I gave or plan to give to whom for Christmas. Without the list – the same recipients might get the ones (Simon Tools) that I bought last June on Amazon and these ones too – then think I’m getting even stranger than I am. Those were $16 for a set of 3 after a $4 coupon – so this Milwaukee set seems like a good deal.

I bought this carbineer bit holder set. It’s solid and a bit, no pun intended, heavy being it’s made of steel. I don’t remember it being stainless. So, rusting could be an issue if you work in a wet environment. Overall I’m very pleased with it, like with most anything Milwaukee makes. 🧰

Looks like Home Depot has a bunch of Milwaukee sale items – in addition to the bit holder here, I grabbed a 2 pack of 25ft tapes, the 2 pack of the utility knives with bit holders, a set of a standard and stubby ratcheting screwdrivers, and a 4 pack of the permenent markers, all discounted deeply

Was looking forward to getting them and found them too heavy.

While I’m going to pull the trigger this evening on that Milwaukee bit holder and carabiner let me give you guys a word of advice:

THE KLEIN CARABINER IS FAR FAR FAR SUPERIOR.

Just saying from experience. I wish I could just buy single Klein carabiners ’cause I would love to retire about 4 garbage Amazon “chineseium pot metal” carabiners that are just crap.
