I have seen the same price at one other retailer, perhaps indicating that Milwaukee is looking to clear their shelves of the 3/8″ drill/driver in preparation of an updated or refreshed model release. Or maybe they’re just trying to raise more attention about their fork meters and other diagnostic equipment. In any case, this is a great value-priced combo kit, despite the inclusion of only a singly battery.

The Milwaukee 2410 M12 3/8″ drill is my favorite drill for general use at my shop. Lightweight, small dimensions, comfortable and powerful.
The 2239-23 for $99 deal, was one of the most solid purchases I have ever made. I have both the 2207, and two of the 2239’s. They are outstanding.
As a note: the 2207 included in the above mentioned deal, only measures AC amperage (in addition to it’s other listed functions.)

Home Depot currently has it for $99 (with free shipping, again, currently).
I picked up the combo when it was on Amazon’s Gold Box discount about a month ago. Less than two weeks later it dropped to $99 and I believe it’s been there since.
So I’m thinking I didn’t get a super exclusive Gold Box deal, but I absolutely love the drill! I won’t use the meter nearly as much, but it seems like a great product as well.
Also, mine didn’t include a “Red Lithium” battery, as shown in the picture on this page. I don’t know if the Amazon or Home Depot ones do (HD has the same picture). That might be worth checking.
