Today’s deals of the day at Home Depot largely feature Milwaukee M18 cordless power tool bundles, but there are some other brands and types of deals mixed in.
One minor detail we caught was that the smaller Milwaukee M18 Fuel and Packout tool box combo kits show the 48-22-8450 Packout tool case in images, but the descriptions say you get the 48-22-8424 case, which has reinforced corners. It’s not clear if the mistake is with Home Depot’s product images or the part number in the descriptions.

Most of the deals look to be decent. If I had to focus on two as the “best” deals, it’d be the Ridgid brushless combo kit and Milwaukee M18 brushless drywall and Surge impulse driver combo kit.
The Milwaukee M12 combo kit also looks like a decent deal, giving you 4 tools, 3 batteries. The tools include a drill, impact driver, rotary tool, Hackzall compact reciprocating saw, and the batteries are all compact 1.5Ah packs.

The Ryobi 18V cordless combo kit is also noteworthy. The tools are their basic models, but the inclusion of a cordless miter saw isn’t something you see often, especially at this price point. It’d be more compelling of a deal if it included a higher capacity battery instead of two 1.5Ah packs.

As mentioned, the M18 drywall screwgun and SURGE driver combo kit seems like a very good deal. The locking pliers set is a particularly good buy.

The M18 Fuel 2 tool packout kit does come with the 48-22-8450 tool case, but I dont think it has the foam at all inside, everything is packaged with cardboard I believe.

That’s what I assumed, but it’s safer to discuss the uncertainties just in case.

That Surge and drywall gun kit is an awesome deal, especially if its the first foray into the M18 platform. Makes me wish I needed a drywall gun and didn’t already have the Surge.

I have the m12 kit (bought 3 last time it hit this price)
None of these tools is standout on it’s own but the kit is compact and useful for remodel and install work. The little hackzall is in my everyday kit: gutless but compact, so better than going back for more tools. The drill and impact are both sidelined because the fuel version are way better and not much bigger.
The m12 fuel deal running at home Depot right now is by far the best in the last year, so i’d recommend that as a better use of $200
