Been wanting an M12 Surge, and no need for yet another charger – sweet.

Grabbed the m12 band saw. I know the tool is almost ten years old now, and Milwaukee will probably announce a fuel version right after I start using it. But seems like a perfect replacement for a hacksaw, and has great reviews everywhere I looked.
Tim E.
On the bright side, if Milwaukee releases a fuel version / update right after you start using it, then the rest of us can get that newer version finally… 😀

Finally decided to get the pipe shear. I’ve been eyeing it for a while but didn’t want to spend 180 on it.
There was a guy on Craigslist selling some for $130 last week and I almost bought one but I’m glad I waited now, haha. They were new but just the bare tool.

What about the items listed in picture? They on sale, can’t find deal?
Stuart
Deal ended a few hours ago.
Big Richard
He posted his query on 9/8/2020 at 8:40pm, still within the expiration window.
DanJ, that picture is multiple listings stitched into one photo, that is why your could not find it.
Stuart
Whoops! Sorry DanJ!! I would swear I saw 8:40am in the moderation panel. I typically do get a lot of “where’s the deal??” emails and comments after such deals expire.
Home Depot special buy deal of the day deals are usually listed in a set order, and then they move to the end of the list if they sell out.
The deals I combined into a single image were all there as of the time this post went up yesterday.
I’m sorry for the confusion, if you thought this was a single deal. All of the items were available separately, as described in the body of the post.
I considered lines to split the images apart, but it was too messy-looking due to mis-proportions.
If this is indeed what Dan is referencing, I’ll try to add notes for clarity in future such deal post images, or resort to the typical practice of screenshots.

Thanx Richard…

Still trying to snag that cut-off tool. Must’ve sold out in hours. Oh well!
Todd
I got the cutoff tool with a laborday special starter kit package. Its neat, but makes way too much dust with drywall (I stopped using it after about 4ft of cut and went back to the oscillating tool) then I used it to cut some 20ga sheetmetal duct and it kept stalling. I like it and am glad I have it but I think its something that wont get used as often as I imagined.
Koko The Talking Ape
I guess the thicker blade makes more drywall dust.
I’m surprised about the sheet metal though. I was planning to cut some 14 ga steel angle with it. What do you think was happening? Would a shallower cut help? I can imagine the metal catching the blade as it exits the cut.

I got the M12 rotary hammer … 🤷♂️ I dont know if it’s very powerful but i dont drill concrete very often.

M12 is designed for drilling holes up to 1/2″, M12 Fuel is designed for holes up to 5/8″.
It’s a good tool – compact and reasonably powerful for it size.
Greg
Thanks for the links !
Most of my concrete drilling is for tapcons and i’m hoping it will be better than my hammer drill that tends to make holes too big due to the excessive rotation and the screws dont grip nice enough, especially for the smaller ones. At least that’s what the interwebs told me 🙂
What stops it from drilling more than 1/2″ ? Could it do the occasional bigger hole even if it struggles ?
Stuart
Either should be perfect for Tapcons.
I’ve never tried either with larger holes, but would imagine they might struggle a bit, leading to a slow or frustrating experience. It will also depend a lot on the hole depth.

Purchased the 50 piece 1/4 inch socket set for $99.99 delivered. Regular $119.99. To go along with the 56 piece 3/8 in drive socket set I purchased in July that came with 6 free Milwaukee screw drivers for $99.99, regular price $198.99. All purchased on HomeDepot.com. Now if they would just drop the price on the 1/2 drive set I could be a camper.
I have found that if your patient, what ever Milwaukee item it is you want will go on sale at some point. Lower than anywhere else. Sometimes just when ya get ready to make that purchase because you have been watching the sale price for a week or so. Home Depot will do a one day sale and take an additional amount off.
Last month with the M 18, 12 A.H. battery. $189.99 for a couple weeks I believe. One day logged in and they had dropped it $10.00 more dollars. Still a lot of money for a battery but I want a 12 A.H. one for the 7/9 grinder I bought in June that just goes right through a 5 A.h. battery in no time.
I would have to say that the M 12 fuel products have pretty much bottomed out this year price wise. If you want the M12 Fuel hammer drill or driver, $99.99 with a 2 A.H. battery is the lowest it has been all year. With the combo of the two with two 2 A.H. batteries and a charger in the past costing $199.99 with a free 4 A.H. battery. Being priced at $219.99.
Mike
I’ve been eyeing a 12v Surge for some time. That deal with the free battery was too good to pass on. Thanks for the heads up.
