Today only, Home Depot’s special buy deal of the day features a selection of Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ridgid, and Ryobi cordless power tool kits and accessories. There’s also an Empire level combo deal mixed in.
Most of these kits and bundles look to be Father’s Day deals, but with slightly bigger discounts, to help clear them off warehouse shelves.

That Ridgid brushless drywall screwdriver looks new, and the overall bundle looks appealing for anyone looking to do some heavy drywall installation.
The Milwaukee M12 Packout bundles are now $90, even better than the $100 they were for the last month or so. The Packout + drill and impact driver bundles both come with (2) Li-ion batteries.
Good deals, if they’re what you’re looking for.1

If the extra battery isn’t a big deal HD still has the M12 Fuel packout deal for $99.

Depends on the user.
To complement an 18V drill or impact, I’d rather have a brushed model, an extra battery, and $10 change (ignoring tax for a moment).
As an 18V replacement, the M12 Fuel is indeed more powerful and more capable.
FishStick
It’s still a good deal either way but wasn’t sure if you were still aware that deal was going on. For most users the extra battery is going to outweigh the extra runtime of the Fuel anyway. One on the charger and one in the gun vs waiting to charge.
For me personally I didn’t find the original M12 impact that much smaller than the M18. When I saw the gen2 Fuel M12 that was the size I was wanting from a 12V and I’m waiting for the holidays to see what those might drop to.
Stuart
I was, but I figured that someone who wanted one of those M12 Fuel kits would have picked it up by now, since they’ve been $90 since before Father’s Day.
They’re 1st gen tools, but still good.

That kit was SBOTD a couple weeks ago for $89. That same day my first gen non-fuel m12 but the dust. I decided it was fate and upgraded.

I guess we will see if the next round of tariffs ruin our expectations about better deals coming:

Are the Ryobi branded drive bits worth it? I haven’t used Ryobi branded ones yet.
TonyT
For DIY use, sure – my main drill and driver bits are Ryobi (just recently picked up some Milwaukee), and they’ve worked fine for me. But I’m not a heavy user.

Thanks. I bought a ridgid 18v osilator a couple weeks ago for $100. I’ll return it and get the full kit for only $80 more.
