Discussion

This deal is probably going to go fast. So rather than discussing all the pertinent details, I’m posting it as fast as I can so you can take advantage of the deal.

I was able to get the large toolbox discounted at $60 and the dolly for under $80. I don’t have a Blain’s Farm and Fleet in my state, so they are shipping it to my house for $12.70.

Packout

Stuart’s Note: This is a GREAT Deal! I recently paid $59 for one dolly, via Tool Nut. Here, it’s $60 for a tool box AND free dolly, plus shipping.

This is a crazy-good deal that won’t last long.

Thanks! I added a note to the top.

I don’t want to make it as expired yet in the title, just in case they reactivate it soon. At this time it looks like the dolly is out of stock, but that might have been done to fix a problem with the limits or similar.

This deal is great, but I have to fight it, as I’m heavily invested in the Ridgid boxes. If only TTI would realize this would be helpful across their platforms!

I’m in the same boat. I kept wishing they’d come out with a dolly for the Ridgid boxes. Then I just made my own.

Would you mind sharing what you built?

Sorry, forgot all about this. I didn’t build anything fancy. I measured the outside of the Ridgid cases and made a frame of 2×4’s with a piece of plywood for a bottom. The case just sits down inside the 2×4 frame, which keeps it from sliding off the dolly. I bought 4 locking swivel casters from Home Depot and screwed them to the bottom.

I think this must have been a data entry error … that got corrected.

Looking at the site, the dolly is out of stock, and that’s what breaks this deal. I’d say keep an eye on it, either the promo will disappear or go active again when they have more inventory.

As of 5:45 CST the dolly is sold out for shipping. YMMV If you have a local store they will ship from there or you can buy online for pick up.

This seems like a great deal. I snagged one of the large boxes with dolly.

Ace Hardware has a similar thing running. They want you to buy three Packouts (4 different SKUs to choose from). The site seems a little glitchy. I was successful adding 2 large toolboxes and getting the dolly for free. We’ll see what happens….

Wow! Thanks for posting. I was able to pick up two of the crates at $40 and get two free dollies. I was going to buy a couple of additional crates anyway, and was considering another dolly. What an incredible deal. I have a location about 30 minutes away so was able to do in store pick up, looks like that location is now sold out thought. Thanks again!

+1 on the Ace Hardware similar deal. I was able to add three Packout items, then delete one but it left the dolly. Placed the order and about 5 minutes later was notified that they cancelled it, presumably because I hadn’t purchased 3 as per the deal rules. Oh well. I don’t need 3 boxes and the dolly for me is a novelty. But if someone is looking for this deal you might try Ace, provided you play by the rules and actually get three items.

nm, I missed that the original deal was pick one of three, get the bonus. CPO is pick 3 items, get the bonus.

That free tool confused me for a bit – I added three crates to the cart, selected the wheels, and somehow had five things in the cart!

We’ll see how it is but random multitools laying around are never that bad.

Just got the dolly from Max Tool – this hung is amazing. Kids are using it and a crate as a push toy for now but it’s extremely well built. Not sure I’d pay $90 for it but as a freebie it’s worth it.
