Tis’ the season for deals, and there are some pretty good ones out there if you’re in the market for some Milwaukee heated gear.
For starters, Home Depot is offering a free M12 CP 2.0 battery with the purchase of a select Milwaukee heated hoodie, vest or jacket — both with kits that include the 1.5AH battery and charger as well as the “bare tool” option. It appears to be an online-only deal; just add both items to your cart to get the free battery.

Buy M12 Axis Heated Gear, Get a FREE Hand Warmer and Worklight Kit
Milwaukee is also offering a nice rebate offer for heated gear purchases, too. They’re offering a free heated hand warmer and work light kit in black (551B-21, pictured below) or camo (551C-21) with any purchase of an AXIS jacket or vest, again, both for the full kits as well as the bare tools.

I’ve been wanting to add some AXIS gear to my collection since first leaning about the line at NPS18 back in May, and am waiting for the bare vest in 2XL to be in stock. If the full kit included the new USB-chargeable compact charger and power source, I’d buy it in a heartbeat, but the vest kits only come with the standard power source, and I have plenty of standard power sources, M12 batteries, and chargers already.

Hopefully they come back into stock soon, but the kits and rebate offer are still very tempting. The heated hand warmer kit would make a perfect Christmas gift for my father, who finds his hands are always cold no matter how high his thermostat is turned up.
Buy Other Select M12 Heated Gear, Get a FREE Battery or Hat
Buyers of hoodies — which Ben wrote about back in October — as well as the Toughshell or Quietshell jackets can choose from either a free battery (48-11-2420) or fleece-lined winter hat (502G). This deal is also valid on bare tool or kit purchases.
The Milwaukee rebates are valid on eligible heated gear purchases made between Nov 1st, 2018 thru Jan 31st, 2019, and must be redeemed by Jan 31st, 2019.

More Rebate Details
There are a number of Milwaukee dealers you can purchase from to be eligible for the E-rebate offers. If in doubt, look at the E-rebate online redemption form, which has a drop-down list of eligible distributors. If your desired distributor isn’t on that list, you can contact Milwaukee Tool to check for rebate eligibility.

Valid for purchases made between Nov 1st, 2018 thru Jan 31st, 2019, and must be redeemed by Jan 31st, 2019.

I bought an axis jacket from homedepot and got the free battery. Was hoping to get the handwarmer rebate as well but homedepot isn’t listed as a vendor on the rebate form. Anyone have any experience with Milwaukee honoring a purchase from homedepot for a rebate?
adam
It won’t work. Most rebates that Milwaukee offers, are only for online tool retailers or more trade specific shops (like Fasteners, Grainger, plumbing or electrical) and not through big box retail. The valid retailers are listed on the rebate page.
Paul
Okay, thank you. I was surprised because I did the Shockwave bits and reciprocating blade rebate a year or two ago using homedepot without a problem.

I called both Home Depot’s and Milwaukee’s customer service lines and the battery offered by Home Depot replaces the e-Rebate offered by Milwaukee which is unfortunate as I’d actually rather have the hat than another battery — and yes, I completely understand that the hat is only $17 while the battery is $49!
Paul
Thanks for checking.

I got the heat hoodie last year – love it. I ditched the M12 battery setup and got a flatter 12volt batter with indication and charger that I use – much easier to travel with at the time a paid 18$ for it how it’s 25$.

Nice item, gotta pick that up
Paul
That’s awesome, gotta get one. I really like the axis jacket I got but the battery is not comfortable while in the car.
John
Ugh. I think the XL hoodie is completely sold out. All the sites listed are sold out. Stuart, any idea if I just missed the boat or if they will restock throughout January?
Stuart
I really don’t know. I checked, and I’m seeing the same. I would imagine that they’ll be restocked. Your best bet is to contact your desired supplier and see what they say.

Seems like all the black hoodies in 2x are sold out everywhere.

I have a jacket and hoodie, I want a vest, but like you, I’m waiting on the USB charger. I refuse to pay $40 for it.
BTW, the hoodie shrinks a little after the first wash/dry, which was good for me since the large was too big. You want it snug so the heating elements are close to the skin.
@John, get the XXL and shrink it. It’s 50% cotton.

Thanks for the info Robert! That’s part of my thinking for purchasing at HD. Makes my life easier to return if the size is weird.

I’ve e bought 1 coat and 2hoodies for myself+2 as gifts.
Buy on clearance on HD in the summer for $80-120.

Bought my husband a vest, and completed the rebate for the free hand warmer. It’s almost March and we still haven’t received it. Anybody else get theirs??
