Saved the Milwaukee 24 in. Magnetic I-Beam Level with 7 in. Billet Torpedo Level bundle to my Home Depot wish list a three months ago lol. Followed your latest post, Stuart, and found the bundle for 33% off – saved me $20! On the bubble now!

HD bundled Milwaukee’s large M18 inverter with two 5.0 batteries for $840:

I think the price is decent, but I’m going to hold out for a better deal, maybe one with more and larger batteries.

I believe that the device requires 4 batteries to operate.

I bought one ($634.65 before tax on a ToolUp promo) I already had four 2845-20 (12Ah) batteries – but haven’t gotten around to trying it out. My prospective use is my summer place that often suffers short outages.

The $839 price with two 5.0Ah batteries (HD sells the batteries for $159) seems like a good deal – but as you say it is a pity that they don’t have a bundle with something like four higher Ah batteries.

My only concern is that my experience with some M18 batteries is that they cut out on overheating. I’m hoping that this application will fare better.

Thanks! I added an update to the post. I wonder if this is a BF/CM deal that was mistakenly added as a deal of the day for today.

I just ordered the M12 blower and battery kit – thanks for the tip.

I think it’ll be good for small cleanup jobs inside.

    Stuart.
First, thank you for all your efforts compiling all of this sale info.

    Second, this link (https://toolguyd.com/home-depot/Milwaukee-2494-22)
is titled as a M12 Fuel Link for $199. Everyplace I see it and click on it I’m sent to a $99 special.

If there is in fact still a $199 sale can you tell me if both tools are latest generation Fuel items.

    Again thank you

It should link to this page for the $199 combo. This is based on the new combo kit, 3497-22.

I checked the Milwaukee page and didn’t see the error there – will keep looking.

      Thank you!

Update: I found and fixed the links in the HD deal page. Thank you again!

    Thank you Stuart.
I should have been more clear that the original link was sending me to a $99 HomeDepot package. I didn’t look on a Milwaukee page.

      Thank you!

No worries – it would have been one of two places and I found it quickly.

I can only fix mistakes I know about – thanks for bringing it to my attention!
