I will use this set to work on my teams battlebot. I have plenty of m12 and would love more. I find that the form factor is the best for 90 percent of what I do. More power than my old porter cable 18volt stuff by far. Please send it to me so I may attain robotic world domination on basic cable tv.
Rob

If I were fortunate enough to win this awesome tool combo, I would have to get more Milwaukee tools to complete the set.
My son in law gave me a skill saw that needs a 12ah battery and I’ll be cutting pallets again, I use the 18v impact he gave me for work. I’ve used his 12v before and really like it, but he is stingy with it.. π
John
I’d use them as an entry point to m12 to start replacing my Porter Cable 18v tools.
Lucas j huggins
I help out with Handyman repairs in my community and for charities, repairing Toilets, installing handrails for the elderly and those in need, etc.
I would use the M12’s lighter tools to help with these charities as my budget isn’t the biggest and my shoulder is starting to feel the other heavy nicad tools that are starting to get too old.
Reyes Bustillos
I have been a Milwaukee fan for a couple of years now and have only carried m18. Gave my Father my newest set as his old Milwaukee set was pretty outdated with the old battery. I only have 3 tools that are m12 and thats a radio, a rocket light and a jacket. But at work i was provided with an m12 impact and it has become my best friend. Its the last gen but has been my favorite power tool and love the power. Would love to have one for the work i do around my house.
William H Murphy
I have all 18v Milwaukee tools and sometimes a nice powerful 12v would help in overhead and tight spaces
Bob+King
I’d pass these along to my kids. I bought them all starter M12 sets so I don’t have to haul my tools to their houses when working on the endless projects!
Chrisk1970
Well Iβd like to win this for keeping in my RV! Great for site repair. Also yes I own the M12 Tower light, right angle drill, M12 hoodie, M12 Pinner (phe-NOM-enal) and the inflater. No frills or impacts though.
Christian Quintero
I’m an AV Technician, I’d use the drill and driver to put together AV racks, hanging TV mounts on walls. I’m already an M12 Battery user. I own the previous generation hammer drill and love it.
Moon
This would be a great stepping stone to start using Milwaukee products. First taste is free, after that, your hooked for life. π
Dave
I own dewalt (18 years old), and ryobi. Never had Milwaukee, but looking for a better drill driver tool for garage and community work.
DKD
I want to win this set of M12 tools because like a lot of hobbyists and professionals, the Milwaukee M12 and M18 line is simply the best on the market!
I would be using these tools on a ebike project I’ve tasked myself with.
I also use Fuel M18 everyday at work working with metal.
Jason+S.
I’ve just started to invest in the M12 line. I’m a mid-level DIYer at best. I want to convert over my old 12V Bosch tools to Milwaukee. I borrowed a friend’s M12 impact driver and I was simply wowed by the power. I have a deck project that I am hoping to use these tools for. I am replacing a 12×14 deck with treated boards to composite decking with hidden fasteners. I’d be very grateful to start my M12 tool line investment with a this really generous giveaway. Thanks for the consideration.
Jose
If I am fortunate enough to win this give away these tools will be used in my side jobs doing brakes before work, after work and on my days off. This would help provide for my family.
James
I’d like to win it to round out my toolbox for work. As a hydrogeologist I have to be prepared to occasionally perform minor maintenance/repairs or do some electrical work. I currently have a secondhand drill (Hart?) in my tool box. These would be smaller and way more powerful. Good for drilling holes in PVC or steel pipes, boxes, or unscrewing well vaults quickly.
Daniel Molina
Because Milwaukee has such a great reputation. This would be my entry into the Milwaukee world! I’d use it for home/work projects & maintenance.
Tim B.
I’d definitely make good use of these. Have had M12 tools for a good many years… and the M12 drill is the one that gets the most frequent use for around-the-house type chores, etc. So much so, in fact, that my 1st generation pre-red / pre-brushless / pre-fuel model finally died on me (my first Milwaukee ever to do so), though I don’t blame it at all; it served well over it’s long life. So a replacement for it’s predecessor would be great! Now, the impact, I’ve never owned an M12 Impact (though I have the M18); would be nice to give that a try, also!
Eric R
I would use this set in my new woodshop. Recently purchased a new house that has a detached garage which I will be turning into my new shop. Previously shared a garage at my parents house. I have the m12 inflator, multitool, pex expander, and screwdriver but not the impact or the drill. would love to use these for upcoming shop builds like cabinets, workbenches and furniture. Keep up the great work, Toolguyd!
Luke
Been renovating our 1970s era house and you just can’t have too many drills around while renovating!
Ron+Harris
I’d like to win because I created 3d printer enclosures. It would be great if I had a reliable drill that isn’t bulky but is strong.
Ethan P
Love M12 stuff. I have their first gen impact that is getting pretty old. Its a great size that fits in my tool bags when I’m running around building. This would be a great addition to my toolbox!
John+Fal
I could see where both of these could come in handy, been helping a family member fix up their house and I like the compactness of these plus they’d go will with my m12 ratchet , radio and flashlight. Who don’t love Milwakee !
Frank Stahl
This tool looks like it wood be a great thing to have around the house and other places! I am retired and just moved into a small place and donβt have any tools. To receive this kit wood be great Thank You.
Jordan Nimrod
I own m18 set brushless. The impact drill just suddenly stopped working, only lights on does not drill anymore. I watched repairs in youtube and tried replacing all mosfets but did not solve the problem. Replacing that with your m12 will be awesome.
A W
A couple years ago, Stuart sent me some wonderful m12 tools to either keep or give away to local aviation maintenance students. I kept two lights and a ratchet, and gave the others away. I use the M12 lantern in my unfinished basement daily. The ratchet has served me through three alternator changes. I didn’t think I would like it, but then it allowed me to do something deep in an engine bay with two hands that would have ordinarily taken three.
With this kit, I would probably keep the drill, and give away the impact driver, simply because I have an M18 Surge that I really, really like.
Popgun42
I have some M12 and have been looking for a hammer drill. If I win I could pass down my older ones to one of my sons or son In law.
Derek
I would love these. I have plenty of M12 tools, I’m a electrician. I have the 2nd gen drill & impact, but my drill crapped out on me last month, been using my home (ridgid) one for now. If your worried about it being wasted collecting dust some rich guys garage…you won’t have that problem with me.
Callum
M12 would be a great addition around the house.
famwelch
I would use these in my home repairs and in the shop on projects.
I have bee impressed by my Milwaukee Hachette
TonyT
A 12V fan (Bosch) because I’ve found 12V is powerful enough for almost all of my uses, but a lot lighter and easier to maneuver than 18V. I’m not a M12 user yet, although I’ve considered M12 because of the wide variety of tools and because my very useful M18 drain auger kit came with a M12/M18 charger.
If I won, I’d keep the Bosch at work, and use the Milwaukee around the home for general home owner tasks, like building and repairing furniture.
Tom B
I would use these to help with my house remodel. I have a Rocket light, OMT, and pin nailer on the M12 platform. This set would be a nice complement to them.
Mr. C
I will use this set for my plans of world domination! It’s the same thing we do every night, Pinky — Try to take over the world!
Or it’ll make a nice birthday gift for my father. That too. He’ll probably use it for home repair, odd jobs, and assisting me in taking over the world. Wait, what?
A W
You, sir, deserve an upvote.
Cristobal+Figueroa
I am a current M12 user and am always looking to add to the collection. I would use this around the shop when building and fixing things.
Scott K
I would absolutely love this! I think there are a number of M12 tools that Iβd get use out of but have put off since Iβm not invested in the platform and donβt really have the budget to start over. Our house is cinder block, so the hammer drill would really come in handy for various projects. The 12v Impact would probably replace my aging 18v Bosch which is overkill (and extremely loud) for most of the projects I take on. I have a couple of woodworking projects lined up and it would be awesome to have some new tools to put to use.
Garrett
I’d love to keep these in an portable toolkit for use when I’m not in my shop or where a larger 18v system is overkill.
gregs
I would like to upgrade my older bosch 12v tools and it would make it easier to switch to Milwaukee and their greater variety of tools.
Alex Padilla
I want to get in to the M12 system to replace my lime green tools with ones that are lighter for jobs around the house
Graham Goodenough
I am a big fan of the Milwaukee M12 Fuel platform and use them daily for work as a maintenance technician for low income housing. They are powerful enough to do 95% of my daily work for everything from plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, carpentry, rough-in, drywalling, the list goes on. I like the size to power ratio of the M12 tools and believe the extra power in this combo would finally put an end to using my larger and heavier 18v Makita impact driver and hammer drill. I own a lot of M12 Fuel and M12 products including.
M12 Fuel Circular Saw
M12 Fuel Long Reach Ratchet
M12 Fuel 3/8″ Stubby
M12 Fuel Hackzall
M12 Fuel Gen 2 Hammer Drill
M12 Fuel Gen 2 Impact Driver
M12 Multitool
M12 jigsaw
M12 Rover Work Light
M12 Heated Hoodies (X2)
M12 Compact Batteries (X2)
M12 XC Batteries (X6)
Thanks for your consideration
CJC Wood Working
I would love to win the M12 combo set. Just starting out my new wood working business and it would be nice to upgrade my tools as I only have one old dewalt drill that bearly works
rmkilc
I am an M12 user but I don’t have any of the drills or drivers. These would be great for around the house.
Greta
This would be a great addition to my tools! My 2006 Bosch cordless drill/driver just went out on me. Milwaukee is all I’ve heard people say so many great things about. It’s the perfect time for me to get this Milwaukee. Other than typical DIY projects, we will begin construction of a camp soon. I can’t imagine a better tool for the multiple jobs that await us. I’ll definitely make great use of this amazing tool.
Jorhay
I’ve been wanting to upgrade from my old NexTec tools for general household diy tasks and I think M12 is the perfect platform for that!
Clay
Will use these to keep in my truck to do all the tasks that pop up when I am over at my kids’ school. Always something there that needs attention.
Joel D.
In the plumbing field, the M12 set are a life saver! I would use these along side my others and continue to help out in the plumbing field!
mattd
I would like it because my current drill and impact are from 2009 and are brushed, so even though these are 12v and my current tools are 18v these would be a huge upgrade. I used the gen2 m12 fuel impact that belonged to a friend of mine and loved it, so this would be a great way to get into the platform.
Scott F
Cool, the new generation! Truth be told I don’t *need* either of these, but don’t currently have a 12V driver, and my Gen 2 of that drill gets stupid sometimes. Sometime in the clutch locks up and I need to force it open with a big pair of pliers – and then it works fine for a while until it happens again.
I like the thought from the guy above about keeping in his RV, may be what happens for me if I end up winning. I would probably keep them separate from the garage tools.
Bryan
Iβd like to replace my 10 year old brushed Dewalt12v drill and impact driver for my wood shop only. Iβd be curious how theyβd work as thereβs a reason why I have M18 for all other projects outside the shop. My Dewalts are lacking but perfect for small scale work.
Frank D
I’d use this to start complementing and then replacing my Bosch 12v kit. I have their mainstream tools, keep waiting and waiting for a few more things; but pretty much every month there’s promo’s on Milwaukee … and between some Rigid, Bosch and Ryobi … an extra platform is not cheap or easy to get into.
Skooter
I almost exclusively use M12 Power tools. I haven’t found anything in my DIY remodel projects I could not accomplish with m12 power. The size and weight to power ratio is great. Projects up ahead: Bathroom remodel, new rabbit hutch and a pumpkin catapult.
conor
I own the last gen of these and quite like them, but really want to play with the new ones to see if they’re improved. Biggest thing I’d want to test is how they do with low speed, higher torque stuff (big drills or quick bursts on the impact). Regularly toss these into my fix-the-house repair bag.
Tator
Would love to compare them to my gen 2 drill and impact. Everyone says Iβm the Milwaukee guy at work but I donβt have the latest and greatest from big red! Iβve been hoping to win the combo kit from buying tools for years, but all I seem to get is a free t-shirt. Bummer! Iβve been renovating a house from 1965 and what could go wrong has. Canβt have enough drills around for sure!
Eric
This set would replace my m18 drill and driver. Ever since I picked up an m12 ratchet and impact wrench, the m18 drill just seems like overkill for the various maintenance and small projects I primarily work on. These days, m18 is for the big impact wrench and work lights.
Tim
I have a small craft shop and I love the 12v tools I own. Can always use more!!!
Rich
It would be cool to win this set I was disabled with bad arthritis an had a few surgeries but I am doing better I was a finish carpenter but most of my tools are out dated or don’t work anymore so something small and compact would definitely help me get back in the game even if only part time
Andrew
I recwntly started a new job at a large manufacturing facility in their maintence department. All of my teamates have recently switched to the Milwaukee Fuel platform and they love it. Lots of power, long battery life, and it just feels good in your hand. I would like to get a set too, but it is something i will have to save up for. They ttold me too watch for deals and discounts though, so i set an alert for ‘millwuake fuel’ on my phone, and one of the first articles that cane up was the toolguyd.com
Im not a fuel m12 or otherwise user (yet) but I plan to be. If I did luck out with this deal id probably still buy a second impact driver at least to keep at home, probably a hammer drill and saber saw too. Thanks for the articles, I enjoy reading them.
Collin
I’ll take a set because the electronic clutch on my M12 drill is horrendous. The impact driver, sure, I’ll leave it at the warehouse for when I forget my main impact driver, the M12 Surge.
Stephen Hartey
I’m currently a m12 user, but my tools are wearing out. I’m an rv technician and use them everyday throughout most of the day. To win these new tools would be the ultimate upgrade
James+C
Been a m12 user for years. I have gen 1 fuel but skipped the upgrade to gen 2, so gen 3 would be a big jump. I’d use them for the hobby workshop at home or all sorts of projects and maintenance for the family business.
Joseph
I’m a huge fan of every M12 tool I have. I bet the new clutch on the gen 3 drill is a huge improvement, and I’m curious to see how it’ll compare to my go-to gen 2. With the power increase that these new tools claim to have, I’ll likely have to fall back on M18 tools even less often. I’d probably use both of these for car repairs as well as some projects around the house.
Dean
I am currently on the M12 system but could really use the newer more powerful versions. Mine are worn and in need of replacement. Would help out getting the honey-do list done.
Marvin
I love all Milwaukee and would love this M12 set to keep in my truck. I use mostly M18 but love anything M12 for on the go and quick jobs.
Stephen
I own a few M12 and use M18 for work. I would use these to build a shelter for my trailer
Kris
I would love to use this combo for my new project (a shuffleboard table out of old bowling alley). I bough my first M12 combo and love the size and power!
Roger T
I’m a first time home buyer and it would be great to have around the shop and for any repairs that will be needed around the house. I have an impact wrench and a cutoff tool on the M12 line so having a couple more tools on the same line and battery type will be a good addition.
Norse
I do not own any M12 tools currently, but I would use the heck out of them for doing cabinet and door hardware installation. They would also be super handy for keeping around the work bench for assembly and repair tasks. My current cordless line up is all yellow, but I could see going red for the 12v line.
Nick Vascello
I own tools in all colors and voltages but my M12βs are my daily drivers as a maintenance tech. None more so then my Gen 2 M12 hammer drill which I have abused lovingly over the yearsβ¦ which is why itβs on its way to needing to be replaced.
The Gen 3 seems like just a straight forward upgrade and would find itself in my work tool bag day one, while my old one would move onto a nice quiet retirement gig back home enjoying its well earned break from daily abuse.
itsgalf
This is a really good set for use in apartment complex maintenance. 18V sized tools are usually too powerful for the needs to it’s best to go with the lighter 12V stuff. Honestly I would probably gift this away to one of my coworkers who is just starting out.
David A.
If I win this M12 set I’ll use it in my budding woodworking business building custom gifts and home products. I love my old M12 set and would LOVE a newer version. The M12 fuel line is one of the most underrated tool lines in the industry imho. Love what you do Stuart, keep it up!
Tim
I use Milwaukee tools to work on the 1800s home I’m restoring
Scott Davis
I use my M12 impact and drill for my HVAC business. I would like to put a second set on my other truck so I don’t have to keep switching my tools back and forth.
Mick Jagger
I would use it as my daily driver doing electrical construction. I have multiple m12 tools and always looking to expand my collection.
Jason
I would use it to work on my new house. I am a new user of M12 but I am really liking it so far. My entry items was an M12 rocket light and it has pair for itself so many times over.
mlodyulek
My new house needs a lot of new furniture and touch-ups. Will be useful for all that work. Also will get me into the 12V system and there are tools that will be useful next spring
Eliot
I don’t have any m12 currently, but would love to upgrade. I currently use Bosch 12v for professional appliance repair, which works for most things, but more power would be useful.
James M
I would use these tools to put food on the table for my family.
Jason. W
i am already a small M12 user. i use the tools around the house on basic home projects. ive wanted to upgrade for ages but cant bring my self to spend the money on tools i already have, though sometimes they dont quite have the power needed
Brent Holloway
This platform is awesome and would get put to use as part of new home construction. Itβs permanent home would be in everyday toolbox for around the house work and maybe some cabinet building tasks.
Jonathan Galiano
Well.. I’ve been wanting to get into Milwaukee’s 12v system for a while now but it was always hard to justify since I have some dewalt 20V stuff. Just recently found out I am having my first kid so now I wanna get all the projects done asap so these would come in handy!!
Shelwyn
I’m a DeWalt fan, but keep looking at these and an curious to try one.
John H
M12 is a great system, light yet powerful and many different tools in one battery platform.
David
Working in AV this would be an amazing set to throw in my backpack for service calls, small and compact
Kody
I will use it because my DeWalt impact driver died last week and using an old 18v battery drill has been a chore. I will use it on all projects around my rental property and building a workshop.
Michael
I am a commercial beekeeper. I currently use M18 for equipment assembly and maintenance.
Jeff
Thank you for the opportunity to win this 3rd generation m12 combo kit. If I was blessed to be the winner of this kit I would use it for my woodworking endeavors. I currently own a DeWALT DCF887. The 887 is having some RPM issues and with my current financial circumstances, I don’t know if I can justify fixing it or replacing it right now.
Brady Redfearn
I’ve used DeWalt for a decade, but I’m finishing my basement next month and I’d love to see how a Milwaukee does instead!
Hammerstump
I… wouldn’t use it at all. I’m invested pretty heavily in DeWalt 12V and 20/60V.
I would, however, love the chance to make the day of my Milwaukee-loyal buddy. He’s going through a rough patch and could use the pick-me-up.
Stacy
I have several m18 fuel and I would like to try the m12 on things around the house. Canβt say enough about the m18 would really like to have the set to use on a daily basis just to carry with me
Stacy
Rob H
I’m a current M12 user and have an older set of drivers. I would use the new set to replace the old ones as I probably won’t upgrade on my own otherwise. The old ones would go up to my Mom’s house for when I do repairs for her.
Reed Goldberg
Love my m12 tools. Always my go-to impact. I could always use a newer version in my day to day work in building maintenance.
Tony Davis
I would love to have them to go with the impact wrench that I just got. Thatβs the only one that I have right now but Iβm looking to get some more of the Milwaukee stuff. Iβm sold on the Milwaukee tools after using the mid torque 3/8 inch impact.
Bill
These M12 drill/impact drivers are the bees knees. I would use them for woodworking to drill and drive small screws. I’ve also used them to secure boards to the CNC as well as household tasks such has hanging drapes, pictures, ect.
Tyler Pennewill
My gen1 M12 drill just bit the dust so I am looking to get the new one.
Jonathon
I walk over 15K steps a day doing mostly light maintenance work. I need a strong, capable, yet lightweight drill/driver to snap on my belt, and the new M12’s are dream tools for me! Sadly I’ve only handled displays at HD.
Mark Wagner
It would be great to have the M12 surge for use in inclosed areas where other drivers are much too loud. I have other M12 tools and they handle almost anything I would want to do, rarely do I require the power of my M18 drill or driver. Thanks for the opportunity!
TomD
Iβm getting pretty deep into m12 even though I started at m18. Iβd compare it with my surge and the winner would stay, the loser passed on. The drill would be a certain upgrade from my brushed 18 which I hardly ever use.
Shannon k
Already Milwaukee user. But these would be used for home renovation. Kitchen/bath
ericdagr8
I donβt own any Milwaukee but Iβve always thought of the tools as nice and high quality. Iβd use it around the house for routine maintenance and occasional IKEA assembly projects.
William Brinkley
Milwaukee is the best. I would have the kitchen cupboard leveled up in no time at all.
M12 would be perfect for DIY around the house.
Emmanuel padilla
Big fan of the M18, moving on to the M12 now that they’ve got more powerful drivers.
I work with kids, teaching the next generation of builders, so this would help their smaller hands.
Jeremy R
I build decks and use the lighter m12s when I have to go up and down the ladder. I have the basic m12 but am interested in seeing the difference between those and the fuel versions.
Stephen
I own a few M12 tools (ratchet, installation driver, flashlight) and would love to add these to my home DIY tool collection! Milwaukee makes some great M12 tools. The compact size and weight are perfect for light jobs.
Hank
I currently sport a garage of Bosch cordless tools, mostly because I’m too frugal to jump to a new platform….The Bosch stuff has been great, but isn’t exactly “high tech” by today’s standards (think all brushed motors, etc..).
I currently use my little 12v Bosch driver for 3/4 of the work that I do around the property, and a step up to the tech of the 12v Fuel line would be nice, even just to check them out, and experience what a more “professional” line of tools is like.
Justin
I already have the older M12 tools and use them around my house for various DYI projects. If I was lucky enough to win this kit I’d gift it to my son who just began his US Army career and could use this to help him and his fellow soldiers fix up the dump of a barracks they live in. Mount TV’s, put together furniture, and whatever odds and ends that coke about.
SNett
Iβve got a few m12 items, tower light, Hatchet, and installation driver. These would be great for those situations where you donβt need the leather 18 volt tools. I would use them around the house and shop.
SNett
Whoops, βlargerβ 18 volt tools.
Karehka R
I have never owned a M12 anything before. I could definitely use this for all my DIYs
Mariusz
because in the last two years I managed to break three such sets of the third generation .. (it was not refined) I will gladly test the fourth generation on the construction site, not at home!
JustinW
For home repairs and upgrades as well as light vehicle work.
Ralph O
I want to win this combo kit simply because it is exactly what I need. My first big tool purchase was a M18 1/2″ impact wreck in the early 2000s for automotive repairs, I still have it to this day, longest running tool!
I just bought into the M12 family with their fuel multi tool and LOVE it, it’s been my second go-to tool for home repairs. My main go-to is a small old snap on impact driver which the batteries are finally starting to go, the M12 impact driver would be the perfect replacement. The hammer drill would also be perfect because my next home project is to frame onto concrete and drywall my garage.
Gyhandi
I’m new to the M12 line of tools. I will use these tools for home improvement or DIY options. I like these tools because the rating of other’s comments and I hope to fall in love with the line as well. I’ve watched a ton of your videos and thought that this might be a good idea for the introduction of M12. Either way, great content on your tool line up.
Chris
It’d be useful for pulling double duty installing cabinetry or working on the steel side of things
JD Macias
I am a 69 y/o grandmother who loves woodworking and recently constructed a twin bed for my 7 y/o grandson who had outgrown his toddler bed and was sleeping on the floor of his home. I used a Milwaukee Fuel drill to pre drill holes for the screws on the slats, rungs, posts, and cleats, then used the impact driver to drive the larger screws in. I love my Milwaukee power tools. They are the ones I rely on to help me do a superb job. I want to continue doing this kind of quality work and new Milwaukee power tools would help me do that. Thank you.
Aaron I
Been wanting a 12v drill for some time, love the first gen 18v fuel hammer drill bit it’s be nice to have something smaller occasionally.
James Meece
My father always used milwaukee tools. After his passing I started buying newer milwaukee tools and these would make a great addition to the collection and be used to fix up the house and other projects he never got to.
Mark Gahagan
Iβm retired and disabled so for a few hours a day Iβm able to do small woodworking projects in my garage. I have a old Milwaukee drill and driver and would love to have a new one being that the older ones are barely hanging in there.
Karehka R
This small frame will be great for all my DIYs. I always wanted the M12 Line
Michael F
Iβm heavily invested in M12 but have the original gen 1 drill/driver combo. Iβd use these to update my kit and give the first gen tools to my sons.
James
I have been very curious about the M12 series but haven’t pulled the plug on investing in a new line of batteries. I would like to use theses tools in my woodworking so that I don’t use any over powered tools and damage my projects.
Chris Tyler
Avid DIYer looking to upgrade from Ridgid platform purchased 10 plus years ago. Looking to commit to Milwaukee platform going forward for all new tools. If it’s good enough for the trades, it’s more than enough for me.
Jorge Moreno
I just started my own small business, and with that I just started building my Milwaukee power tool arsenal. This M12 set would be a righteous addition, giving me more versatility and ability to work in smaller spaces.
In the wise words of Metallica,
“GIVE ME FUEL give me fire GIVE ME THAT WHICH I DESIRE!”
Mario
Would use the set to do handyman and hvac work.Big user of m12 and it’s accessories. Love the compact size and it’s power.
Jonathan
I’m an amateur woodworker and home DIYer, so I’d love to have the M12 set to improve the quality of my projects and make the work go just a little bit smoother.
Samuel j Glenn
I currently am constantly loaning out my current drills and other tools to my family members and assisting them with their projects. It would be nice to have a dedicated tool set to keep to myself.
Matt
I donβt currently own any M12 stuff. It looks like the perfect replacement for the Bosch 12 volt drill I used to use. Most of my work has turned to trim, door, built-ins, and cabinet installs, so a more compact drill and driver set would be perfect for tighter spaces and reducing weight by replacing my heavier 18 volt drill and driver when Iβm doing lighter duty work.
Andrew
M12 tools are the right size for what I do, and the brushless set would be an upgrade for me.
Ruger nester
Run a old m12 I want to see if the new m12 can replace my new M18 drill
Jonathan
I’m an amateur woodworker and home DIYer, so I’d love to have the M12 set to improve the quality of my projects and make the work go just a little bit smoother
Ted L
I currently use the M12 line and I could always use more batteries and another impact gun, especially I want to try out the new model. I use the tools daily as an electrician and would love to win a giveaway for once haha!
Richard
Bought 1st combo 2017 still work great would like to have another set
Joe C
I’m a current M12 user and would love to try out the Fuel line. I’m a DIY weekend warrior/woodworker and love the smaller size of the M12 line vs other 18v or 20v platforms.
Jeff
Being an aircraft mechanic by trade I usually revert back to hand tools so never have had much of a power tool collection, not working on planes these days I have picked up the Jeep itch to my wife’s dismay. Who knew there were so many mods you need to do… π Would really enjoy the opportunity to put these tools to some good use in the garage and on the weekends in the trail bag! Never owned a Milwaukee, sounds awesome though.
Shaun
So I’ve been interested in trying out the Milwaukee tools. I currently am a DeWalt user. Im in concrete so I’m using my power tools all day to set forms. It would be interesting to see if Milwaukee could hold up.
Tim
I use the m18 fuel line for work and have been wanting to get an at home set up. This would be perfect. It would mainly serve for my wife than me, but I would love to get my hands on this set also.
Joe+L
I would use it for handyman tasks.
I have a variety of 18V vendors but my 12V system is M12.
Jordan
I’d like it for the hammer drill capability. I have the M12 oscillating, and would love to add to it.
Chris
I have eyeing these for awhile, missed the labor day sales. I want to use them for at home repairs and tinkering with appliances/electronics. Still overkill but I would not be a real tool guy if it was not.
Leo Lopez
I have some m12 took but i’ve been trying to get a hold of these for a while because i see everyone talking about them, im a plumber so will help out a lot to have something small and reliable.
D Watson
I’d love to add the m12 set to my arsenal. I’d use it for the majority of my drilling and driving needs around the house. I have the m18 currently but admire the compact utility of this set. I do currently have a few m12 tools and batteries to utilize with this set.
Stacey Jones
I’d use this for honey-do tasks and some maker tasks. I’d also use it to build this makeshift waybar sanding/polishing thing I found on a fb group.
Joshua Lamb
I would like to win this Gen 3 m12 Milwaukee combo kit to replace my gen 1 set. I recently burned up the drill, so a replacement would be very welcome. I have quite a few M12 tools right now and am always looking to expand my collection. I use the tools for carpentry projects, my home inspection business, and chores around the house.
Steve
I have the m12 installation driver, this would be an excellent addition
Rick K
M12 makes a ton of sense in the A/V world. Weβre usually dealing with lighter tasks but the ability for m12 to punch above itβs class it super helpful when hanging TVs. Iβve been slowly transitioning to more m12 tools and this would round out my collection nicely!
Kurt Greiner
I am a current M12 user, so I would add these to my collection to take advantage of the latest improvements. I am a general maker -woodworking and metal work, some plastic, signs, furniture, along with large scale model ships. My M12’s are invaluable for all those and more.
Brandi Fox
I’m entering this giveaway for my boyfriend because I’d like to surprise him! Unfortunately, someone broke into our truck & stole all of his tools, so I’m trying to help him build his tools back & I know he’d be so happy if I won! He works construction so because of those thieving @ssholes, he’s been out of work for a few days because he has no tools! But besides the construction jobs he does, he will also be using these to fix our new fixer upper mobile home so we can finally move into it!
James Reardon
I am just getting to a point I can afford better tools such as Milwaukee but I love to do woodworking and would use the m12 to continue learning how to better my skills when wood working. My favorite type of work is wood turning. I’m fairly new at it but hope to become really great at it one day. The m12 would help begin to build my small collection of tools.
Kevin L
Love to use these for residential HVAC. Size, power and expandability a huge plus.
Van
I have a few M12 tools and have been using these for my own home and car maintenance. They are my most used tools at home and would love to have an extra set to keep in my car. I often help out my parents and friends (backyard handyman) but sometimes would have to go home to grab these.
Jim
My son recently moved out and my several year old M12 drill and drive set (and a lot of other tools) have been at his place more than mine. I’m happy learning DIY. I’d be happier to tell him to keep my M12 tools.
Nathan
I am currently an M18 user and would like to get into the lighter weight m12 line. I would use it for my Volunteer Emergency Services that I volunteer for. These compact tools can be kept easily accessible for those jobs that involve door lockouts.
Donald
I’m already on m12 but I’m hoping gen 4 is the point where I can decide to not get m18.
Erik S
I would use this as an opportunity to try out new tools, I currently use Ryobi and they have been great to me Iβve using them for 2 years commercially and have given me no problem, but it would definitely be nice to have a change and try something new out!
Benjamin G
I am in need of purchasing a impact driver. I am a DIYer, ATM service technician, auto tech hobbyist, woodworker, and learning basic machinist skills. This would go to a good home
Darcy
I would use the M12 platform to supplement my MA team in my readmailing business. It would be lighter and easier to handle.
Melvin
Would be using for remodeling tasks around the house.
Not currently an M12 user.
Rich
Iβm new to the Milwaukee line. Always had Dewalt and still do, but last Christmas HD had Milwaukeeβs pin nailer kit on sale and I was really drawn to its size compared to my Dewalt nailers. (This was pre Atomic pin nailer I think) Have to say Iβm impressed. Iβve used it a bunch this summer and I would definitely not be afraid to pick up more of the 12v line. I donβt get too bent out of shape over brands or battery platforms. A tool is a tool. Whichever is best for my situation is fine.
Andrew
I would use mine on marine boat (and marine diesil engines) and dock repairs where salt corrosion is just the nature. I currently have M12 and M18 platforms, I have over 100 of the tools and am always impressed by the next gen of Milwaukee’s technology. I currently use the Surge (both M12 and M18) and have never been disappointed and love the quiet noise but often find times where I need to break into either the mid-torque or high-torque M12/M18 impact wrenches to get stuff out.
I’d really be curious how much better this would be over the Surges but I’m sure it would be much better (yet louder but I don’t care)
Rich
Currently attached to different color so hard to try new one. Very interested in what team red has to offer.
Andrew
I hear you on switching colors, I’ve wanted to try Festool for some time and have always heard rave things but the price and starting over for me just doesn’t make financial sense. I switched from yellow 7 years ago, have never looked back.
Shey M
I currently have the old m12s and love them , it would be awesome to add them to my collection.
Dustin K
Not a current M12 user, I’m still living in the stone age with a 15+ year old Craftsman Ni-cad drill/driver. I’ve been wanting to upgrade for quite some time but have been on the fence about which battery platform would suit me best. I would use the combo for household repairs and hopefully be a gateway to get me into more of the m12 line of tools.
Seth
I am currently not a m12 user. But would love to try it, have been hearing a lot of good things about this line and would want to see what all the hype is about. Would be using it for around the house project and working as a handyman I’m sure this will come in very handy.
AL
Got some duct repairs to do in the attic when this heat wave is over. And more electrical to run underneath the house.
It seems crawlspaces keep getting smaller as I get older. There’s only 15-18″ of clearance is a chore. I need something smaller than the 20v tools I have now.
These 12v tools llok loke they have plenty of power, but smaller and lighter.
I wish good luck to everyone. Better luck to me. π
Joellikestools
I would like to play with these a bit. I have had M12 for quite a while and just upgraded to the M12 surge this year. I would probably play around with these and then find some friends to give them too. I have given a lot of M12 tools, two impacts, two drills, a hackzall, a fuel impact, a power ratchet, a power screwdriver, and batteries and chargers. I enjoy giving them as much as I like using them.
Jeff+Anderson
I’m a V18 user. Yeah V as in VERY old milwaukee drill user. It’s old. It’s heavy. Battery life sucks. And did I mention it’s old. Haven been debating whether to switch to M12 for months, and winning them, would help make that decision a bit easier!
Steve W
I am starting a new tech job next week for a company that works on hydrogen fuel cells. In a nutshell, I will be repairing hydrogen fuel cells that are used to power forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment used in warehouses for companies such as Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Kroger, etc. I have been told that the majority of Technicians exclusively use Snap On drills/drivers. I would absolutely love to prove to them that I can get the job done just as efficiently using a Gen 3 M12 impact driver. I am currently an owner of some M12 and M18 tools and have never been let down by the performance and quality of any of them. I don’t have an M 12 impact driver though. It would be amazing to have a Gen 3 impact driver in my tool box to prove that you don’t need to have a fancy Snap On impact driver to do tech work on hydrogen fuel cells. Let me show these guys that Milwaukee can get the job done!
Mike
Dewalts are nearing their end. Been considering m12, pricey, worth it?
Just a diy homeowner remodeling etc
Patrick McIntyre
I’m barely on the M12 platform. Just the OMT. I would love to replace my decade old Bosch 12v drill and driver with these.
Howard McLean
I used to have a 3 piece set of M12 tools but lost them and all my tools due to a flood back in 2016 in Louisiana. I really would love to get back into the Milwaukee M12 platform. I have a small wood working shop and I build furniture and do DIY projects. I want the size and power these M12 tools offer. Great addition to my tool arsenal.
Paul Gibbel
I am ready to start on making some Christmas gifts, the newest gen m12 set will help me get everything done in time this year!
Philip Stevens
I’ve been building a solar system on a travel trailer I’m also renovating. The 12v system would be perfect for the tighter spots I’ve been working in. Also these would be light and small for using on the road. My wife and I plan to go full time for a little while with our baby.
I don’t currently own any Milwaukee but would love to get started in their 12v line. I love that they’re emphasizing quality and increasing USA manufacturing. It’s a brand I’d like to get behind.
Zweii
I am an apprentice electrician, hoping to broaden my expertise and experience. Currently I am using a very old Dewalt and am very slowly trying to replace hand me downs with better products.
A LOT of tradesmen use Milwaukee at my shop, and I have yet to be disappointed in their products! This set would be an awesome upgrade from a full size drill, especially while being crammed in crawlspaces.
MattW.
M12 surge is my daily driver it will be nice to try something with a little more power in the same form factor.
Tristan K
I have been limping along with some other drills that are not cutting it. I have been curious about the M12 line since they are lighter and more powerful than what I have but has been hard to justify jumping the battery ship. Any help leaning into it would make my woodworking past time oh so much more enjoyable not fighting my tools.
Jason E.
I’d add this to my existing stable of M12 and M18 tools at work. I use them daily installing 12v car audio and remote starts. I’d love to replace my 1st Gen M12 drill and impact with these and move my existing set to the house for home projects instead of toting my kit back and forth as needed from work!
Miguel Toscano
Milwaukee is the way to go. Theyβre the top in battery operated tools. And once you think you have the best and newest impact driver from Milwaukee, they manage to bring out another, new and more powerful. And thatβs what I need in my trade. Iβm a commercial HVAC tech and installer. And Iβm always in need of a reliable and powerful tool. If I have this new set, itβll add to my collection of Milwaukee tools and itβll help me not to struggle. And thatβs what we all want. To Work efficiently and with the least struggles as possible. Having these new tools will help me accomplish that.
Jaime.
I started to do woodworking, nothing major just a hobby I picked up. I would use these for them tight spots. I picked up a tool set during Labor Day the M18 series and I plan to expand my tool collection. This is one I was looking at for the future or the next big sale at Home Depot.
Jason T. Keith
I’m about to graduate from Northwestern Tech in Detroit MI and have seen these tools used many times in our lectures as well as many other HVAC videos. Would love to have these to start my next chapter in life while helping others in need,
Thank You for this opportunity.
Chuck+Forster
This would be perfect for replacing my aging first generation M12 drill. I could also use a compact impact hammer for my garage build next summer. Iβve put off proper full sized tools because m12 has been so effective for me as a homeowner/hobbyist.
Raees
I am not a professional but love to do household improvements by myself. Till date I dont have any power tools but wish to have some. Currently I only use manual tools where and when needed. I hope M12 will not only make me more smarter/ quicker but also will speed up my road to DIY….

I have a mix of construction and OPE M18 Fuel tools (I only buy the Fuel versions) and have been looking into getting into M12 with several of the lights and the hammer drill for the compact form factor. My only drill is a 3/8 chuck corded Dewalt that’s nearly worn out from screwing down plywood subfloor, that I’ve wanted to replace with battery power and a little smaller, I’ve compromised in the short term using hex shank drill bits in my M18 Fuel Impact Driver. I have 5 big projects that need to be completed in the next two years, finishing up crown moulding in my living room and foyer and replacing some damaged based boards, replacing two exterior doors due to rotted frames, installing hardwood flooring in my bonus room and on the stairs up to it (the wood is acclimating now), and a new deck off the kitchen door. My house has a brick veneer so will be building the deck like a free-standing deck but want to use the Simpson BVLZ Brick Veneer Ledger Connector, for a little overkill in attaching the ledger, as it will only be me and my wife doing the work, so I’ll be drilling 20-30 holes through the brick.
Shawn slater
I will use this kit for cabinet assembly, and just about all homeowner tasks. I had the gen 1 version of this kit, but gave it to a friend that recently got a house. I have been using a 20v monster that is too big for most tasks.
Chai
Hope to win this. This kit will be great starter for a DIYer like myself.
Roland Dowdy
I’ll use it for work around the house!
Jeff Sweet
I’m loving my M12 tools, so much more flexible than the M18. These would become my daily go to from my much heavier M18 Fuel brethren.
Erick
I am on the props team for my daughter’s highschool marching band. I would use while building the props.
Mark Parolini
I am moving to a new condo and will have limited space but I would love to have this kit for building a small workshop in my underground heated garage.
Tuli
As an HVAC technician and a volunteer community first responder for non medical emergencies and volunteer roadside assistance tis would be a great addition to my arsenal of tools
David B
I want to win the new M12 drill driver set so I can finish with the house renovations that I’ve been putting off for the past 2 years.
I am an M12 user and convert.
Chris
I just bought a house and they would be a great help in getting it fixed up.
Brian M
I would use this for working around the house. I have a few projects that I’ve been slacking on.
Kenneth Kellam
I own a lot of cordless tools and to be honest, I just started using Milwaukee tools I’d like to use the M12 platform mainly for convenience, and for my wife my other tools are to heavy for her to use most of the time….not to mention my daughter (6 yr old she’s very creative) is learning how to use them also. Under my supervision of course. These would be great for them and me alike especially around the house.
Christopher Aprea
I’ve used M12 tools for several years now. They have been my goto tools for pretty much most of my projects. I have not had the opportunity to upgrade to the Fuel line yet. I just bought my first house and have been upgrading and building things around the house. This giveaway would be perfect for the pergola I want to build in this fall.
Manuel Munoz
Manuel
Just starting my career as a electrician, first year apprentice. still paying off trade school and buying tools. This would really help me. I don’t know what’s more of a problem tool theft or losing tools. π€
Christopher Piquette
I am a maintenance technician for a local community bank and looking to upgrade my tools. I’ve been wanting to make the switch over to Milwaukee for a while now.
Will
I would use it for standard home improvement and maintenance. It would be nice to not have to borrow tools from friends or family when things come up.
Fred Boward
I would like to win this for DIY projects around the house.
Wesly mejia
I’m an 18 year old electrician still learning a lot of things not just in the electrical field but I also in construction.
I have always been obsessed with power tool and even tho my dad’s prefers DeWalt I had decided to go against him π (some constructive competition is always appreciated)
Over time I have bought different sets of Milwaukee hand tools and also many power tools…
I have had the 3gen M18 fuel drills kit and 2 sets of the M12’s
(both the brushed and the gen2 fuel drills kits)and i have been greatly satisfied with their performance and power untill both of my impact and and hammer drill burned out over time
I would like this new drill kit to replace my former m12’s
How I miss their lightness and flexibility they were my favorite (to go) tools for installing light things even tho the have tremendous power for heavier task
David
I have just got a new house and have to put up sheds car garage garden shed and new fences around the house so have plenty of work for these tools.
Also I have bees and building bee boxes have to pre drill every hole before screwing
Mark H
I’ve got several of Craftsman’s Nextec tools, and I like their small size and light weight, but the drill and impact driver are nowhere near as powerful as any of the modern tools. It would be nice to replace them with this Milwaukee set for when I need something stronger.
Mac
Die hard Makita fan. Would love to try Milwaukee. Got a big barn to build and 17 acres of chores.
Alexander
I would love to see the difference between the prev gen and the newest firsthand. I still have the gen 1 hammerdrill working (i use it as my loaner tool). I have a job that is perfect for this. I am raising a den floor that goes down about 2 feet. the walls to the den are concrete so the hammer mode will help for the smaller holes. I am an m12 user as i was an automotive tech for a few years and i still do small repairs at home.
Thanks for the oppurtunity!
Carol Brochu
I would use these tools for my job, I am a site super attendant assistant for a home builder and I use my tools every day.
I have purchased alot of Milwaukee tools since I have started my job and I love Milwaukee brand.
I had alot of Dewalt power tools when I first started and have been switching slowly over to Milwaukee in the last 6 months as they are by far a superior product and a much better battery life.
Richard D Wilkinson
Hellooo, I’m a everyday user of my few M12 tools.
So adding to my set ,this would make a fine addition
Rick
Light duty car maintenance will be my main use for these tools.
Seth
These would be great replacements for 99% of the jobs I do. Being nice and compact would make them nice to grab when I’m doing work outside of my garage or away from home. I have some M12 tools, including the multihead drill which is great for finishing projects and hartld to reach driving.
Charlie Fae
I’m a Milwaukee girl and have several M18 and M12 tools at my home. I’m also an industrial field mechanic. The fact that the impact is powerful and compact will be super useful in my day to day work life. I currently use an older M12 impact, but to be honest, I use it mostly for speed removal of bolts as the power isn’t there when bolts are torqued tightly. I don’t bring my M18 on most job sites as space and weight are a limitation. Thanks for hosting this contest!
Mirko Obradovic
All I was concerned about is , was it strong enough and now I know it is. Everything else I like from the start. I will be using them for electrical and locksmithing work.
Alex
I love it to update my old, tired gen 1 M12 kit. It served me well and think this could last me more years to come!
Spencer
I want to win this prize to replace my old m12 non fuel impact and drill. The tasks I would use it for are around the house general projects. The small size really interests me most.
Mark Quinn
I would give this kit to my apprentice so he stops “borrowing” my stuff
Mike+McFalls
As I have gotten a bit older and 12v took co tongue to improve and I can eat the job done without as much fatigue; I have been transition off the 18v makita LXT platform and onto a combination of 12v for tasks that do not require all power and 40v xgt for when I need a miter saw, rotary hammer, etc.
All day Drilling and driving for many tasks including cabinets, furniture assembly, electrical work, is a more enjoyable experience.
These would nicely support that transition and fill out my other M12 tools- multi tool, crown stapler, River tool, etc.
Tool Nerd
I have an older set of M12 tools and would put the upgrade to good use. I love all the items you cover and good luck to everyone!
Dale
As an electrician this looks perfect for trim out tasks like installing plugs and switches, building and hanging light fixtures, and other tasks where M18 is overkill.
Luke
I’d love to win this kit because it’s much smaller and lighter than my m18 tools. I’d use them every day for cabinet installations.
JML
I like red!
Alex Arvanitidis
I’d like to use this combo kit for all my projects around the house to either get into small spaces or not have to lug around the full size variants. It would also be great to represent team red and not have a different drill and impact that require different batteries. I’d like to be able to donate these to the next generation while I get to use these π
Also would be fun to rebuild my deck with this set!
Phil+M
I currently have a few M12 tools, mostly for automotive use (ratchet and stubby impact). But the majority of my cordless tools are Ryobi 18V. They work fine, but they’re kind of large and heavy. A kit like this would be perfect for projects where I’m carrying them up and down a ladder repeatedly. It’s too bad I can’t win before this weekend, when I’ll be installing some high shelves in my garage. π
KG
I would use it for general homeowner repairs and projects and a bit of woodworking too. I have some M12 and like the smaller down factor but either really appreciate the mechanical clutch on this drill
Randy S
I’m always working in tight spots as a plumber. I love my gen 1 m12 impact for crawlspaces, but it is getting a little long in the tooth.
Joel Spangler
I started my M12 journey with a heated jacket. Figured I’d get an impact drill so the batteries wouldn’t be useless over the summer. The smaller drill also had the benefit that it’s lighter and my wife/kids could use it. I find myself grabbing it and fighting for it when everyone wants it for a project. This expansion would certainly help that situation. We also bought a Travel Trailer (RV) and these would certainly be easier to find a spot for than full size 18v alternatives.
Mike+G
My current impact and hammer drills are getting tired and in need of replacement. I am the family handyman so these 2 drill would be a welcome addition.
Brent Fast
Both my sons are electricians and use Milwaukee. I’m just a Dyi guy but seeing the quality of the tools they use plus the awesome warranty, I’m ready to switch to the Red Team!
Zach
Would use it for typical DIY and repairs around the house.
JoeH
I run the M18 system today, but all of my batteries are 5.0 or larger, originally wanting more bang for my buck. Now working above my head, or on ladders, the weight of the 5.0s on a drill or driver wears me out. Having a lighter M12 system for quick jobs or elevated work would be ideal!
Scotty.
Iβm in, I have a couple m12 products and this package would round out my setup. Used for DIY home projects.
Kevin
I’m a new owner of a 1930s Dutch Colonial. It has lots of charm and lots of projects! I’m tackling the neglected mechanical systems (hydronic boiler with cast iron radiators) and conventional split A/C system. These M12 tools would be great for precision work! My makita collection isn’t suited to that kind of stuff.
Josh
I’ve never tried milwaukee products and I want to see if they are really a good as everyone says.
AlexK
DON’T SEND ME THIS. Okay, I’d really like it, but I have an older version that just keeps working. Will this shave a couple of seconds off? Drive a bigger screw into harder material? I have never found my m12 drill/driver to not be up to the job it was designed for. If I need to put a 3/8″ lag bolt into concrete, the m18 Hammer drill is the proper tool. So, I’d love this, but don’t need it and it should go to someone in need.
The m12 products I have- Heated vest, screwdriver (clutch and low power good for cabinet hinges and knobs, radio, tower light, rover light, fuel hammer drill/impact kit, multi tool, jigsaw (not great- needs more power/maybe brushless?). 1-4 ah, 2-3ah, 6-2ah batteries.
Rotary tool- first time I used it the collet broke off inside and is stuck. Was past return date. That and the m12 jigsaw is my only negative experience.
m18 – Hammer drill/impact, 7 1/4 fuel circ., super sawzall- a beautiful beast of a saw.
Top off inverter. I LOVE this thing. 2-4ah, 2-5ah, 1-6ah high output.
Thanks Stuart, for all you do.
Miles
I would love to have these to replace my old M12 set, I use mine all the time on my woodworking projects!
David
I’m an M12 user – they’re my default “I have a small/quick task to accomplish” grab and go drivers. I like the light and small form factor for those tasks, and they help make my tool tote lighter than my heavier Dewalt and Ryobi gear.
My M12’s are the lower end models from a few years ago. I’d love to the upgrade, and to hand down my current drivers to friends and family.
Adam kasai
Its my first ever Tool am gonna own ,I am foreign student studying electricity to begin a new career but lack tools and tools are so costly . I thought I should join M12 Team .so I really hope I get to win this beautiful machine
Dave
I need to rebuild my back porch and want to build a nice log rack and storage container for my solo stove. I don’t currently use any m12 tools but have always wanted to try the sub compact tools as I think they’d be super convenient for small projects.
Shaun Litchfield
I’ll definitely use this tool for small projects around the home. It’s compact and lightweight and easy to carry around. Definitely excited to replace 10yr old set.
StevenC.
I have a really old Kobalt drill and driver that I do all of my work with. They are on their way out, and I would love to get into a more “professional” tool. I’ve heard great things about Milwaukee, and I would love to give them a go to see what they are all about.
Greg
I work in long term care and assisted living site also doing maintenance and the cart I push around in rooms and areas is small because the rooms and such are small, I have full size cordless (Milwaukee) which is kinda over kill but I sure would like the size savings on my cart and I think the power would be more to the nature of what I do.
Ryan
Iβm a field mechanic and work on bucket trucks and any machinery relating to the telecommunications and electric grid. I heavily rely on cordless tools and have built a large arsenal of Milwaukee M12 and M18. I would love to upgrade my current m12 drill and impact to these to stay one step ahead of the curve. Having the latest and greatest has always been a passion on myself.
Shannon
We’ve been talking about upgrading our tool kit for some time, and now that we’re getting ready to convert a cargo van to a campervan, it’s time to make the move. We’ve been eyeing Milwaukees lineup for multiple tools, and are pretty excited about the number of tools we’d be able to get under the same battery umbrella – including the Pex expander and especially that compact bandsaw. Wanted something powerful, yet still small and light enough that we can get in anywhere and use with ease. Not only did this line meet those needs, they’d be perfect for keeping with us when traveling.
Julian
Iβve been gathering up a large collection of the m12 tools, especially their specialty itemsβ¦ as of yet, I donβt have their hammer drill, but could use an alternative to my heavy Makita LXT version or my rotary hammer
Dezhan Good
I am currently not an M12 user; however, as I am an electronic repairer, I could definitely use these for pulling electronic devices, cordless tools, cordless tool batteries, etc, apart instead of screwing everything by hand. I am also an avid DIY’er so I would definitely use them for those projects as well.
Jared
Big M12 fan, had the lineup since owning my house. Perfect for DIY jobs. I put in my first ceiling fan, built a play set for my children, and even helped out my family a few times at their houses. If I would be lucky enough to win this M12 set, I would actually be giving it as a gift to my brother who was beyond impressed when witnessing the tools in action.
Gurwinder
I use both the m12 and m18 platform of tools and I also have the pack out tool boxes. My first tool was the m12 ratchet and m12 impact driver that I had got from homedepot that was on sale a few years ago. I primarily use these tools for working on cars amd trucks and the ratchet was probably the best tool I’ve ever bought. Made my life really easy and now I don’t think I can go with out it. So if I were to win this kit, I would be using it in the automotive industry. Good luck to everyone.
Alex Schanilec
I’ve been eyeing some 12 volt stuff to use in my hobby woodworking shop and these would fill that need nicely!
Tom
I would use this M12 set for projects around the home and for some work at my church. I am currently an M12 and M18 userβ¦love me some red and black! Thanks for sponsoring this giveaway!
Jacob
I’m buying my first house and it’s a serious fixer upper. I’d love to use these tools to make this place my own.
itβs_jake
I have an M 12 heated vest that I used to work in my garage during the winter, one battery is usually enough β but it would be nice to have more. I am currently all in on Makita 18 V and it is way bigger and bulkier than what I need 99% of the time I used to use M 12 stuff at work and it was always pretty decent β new fuel would be even better and so much easier to carry around the house when getting tasks done
John
I would use this to justify spending money on a new power tool ecosystem, also the occasional project around the house π
Donald Dicus
I’d use the set to help build carnival style stands for my daughter’s elementary school pta fundraisers. Everything is on a voluntary/donation basis and my wife has volunteered my services for this upcoming year, lol.
Nate-A
What a great giveaway! I’d use these all over for home maintenance and projects, as well as auto repair. Fingers crossed!
Levi
Current M12 user, but don’t have a drill, just a the Surge impact which is great for indoors.
I would use the set for home repair use at my dad’s place mostly, would probably stay in my truck most of the time.
BJ Vanderboom
I bought the 1st gen M12 combo and it’s always what I reach for. For my uses, there’s not much that my 18v Ridgid can do that these can’t. But they’re tired! Time for a new combo kit.
I love my M12 tools, and even convinced my brother in law (electrician) to start switching over from his M18 tools.
Phillip
As a new homeowner Iβd love this kit for renovation projects!
12v looks perfect for around the houseβlightweight and small but plenty of power
Christian Langowski
I would use this set for maintenance work on my rental properties. It would be nice not o have to use the heavier M18 set i have when I don’t need the extra power.
GNew
I will use it to repair my house after my 2 year old tornado comes through every day.
Colby Carnes
I would like this kit because I am not on the 12 volt platform yet! Iβm a Makita 18v guy but Iβve always been interested in the M12 like, particularly for their impact wrenches! I love the compact size of these and if it can keep, itβd be a whole lot lighter to keep on my tool belt. Builder from GA here! Thanks
Andrew
You know, it is really unfair that this is for USA only. Personally, L would LOCE to have the M12 set, as I know a lot of electricians who swear by themβ¦being light, small and powerful. My daughter, who is quite DIY-oriented, could use a set too, as she keeps borrowing mine! Still, as it is USA only, weβll just have to buy them here in Australia. The brand is fantastic, but the prices here are astronomicalβ¦as an example, I paid $499 for the M18 drill/impact set, two batteries and charger came with it, June 2021. As of today, and I looked, the same set is $712!!! Itβs getting to be unobtainable. So, Milwaukeeβ¦please have a heart and have a few competitions here, eh?
Mackenzie
I build and demolish sets in the film industry. Iβm a Ridgid user at the moment because of the warranty but I would like to have a compact set of tools I could keep in my car and use when Iβm working on fire escapes and in crawl spaces.
drewmcdan1
I am looking to replace my rapidly aging Craftsman Nextec 12v Set of tools. Tools seem to be doing okay, but my batteries really can’t be depended on. I am having to go through multiple batteries to get stuff done.
I’ve pretty much am looking at the M12 line or the Skill, but was leaning towards the M12 even though they have a higher cost, because of the breadth of tools that are available.
Brad Davidson
Winning this combo would be great for my wife. She is a stroke patient with some paralysis in one arm. She is very crafty and always sewing and upholstering furniture items. This set would
be lighter and easier for her use and she wouldn’t have to borrow my m18 fuel tools that are in my truck not her shop.
P.S. go Austin FC!
Zaccari
Im new to milwaukee and their tools, but the m12 tools I do have, I love!!!
Chip O
I have a young family and we’re in the market for a new home, our forever home! The M12 combo kit would be perfect for us as we’re making the new house our own. Thanks a bunch for running this giveaway!
Matthew Arnold
I am looking to get my first drill and impact driver. I have the M18 high torque impact wrench since I’m taking classes to become and automotive service technician. Having M12 tools will be very useful because I can better help my dad around the house with projects he has. Furthermore, having M12 batteries makes it easier to get other tools, like a cordless ratchet. I also plan to get one of the heated jackets that run on M12 batteries, so it’s a plus.
Luis Sauceda
I am a Milwaukee fanatic. I refuse to purchase any other power tools. I am an electrician and I currently use the m18 impact and hammer drill but keeping them on my bags while Iβm on the move gets to be pretty heavy. If the m12s can hold their own, Iβd love to adopt them into my arsenal of tools.
Paul John
I am fully committed to Team RED! I have both battery platforms and I am always impressed with the M12 line! This combo would make a great set to have on hand with me as I adventure out there in the world. Should always be prepared!
Thanks for making this giveaway possible! Thanks always for the great content.
DSal
I would use the tools during assembly of woodworking and home maintenance projects. The additional batteries and charger would be useful as well.
I bought the impact driver and the pin nailer earlier this year and really like the size.
Amanda
I have the basic M12 drill, but nothing stronger. Could use for those screws that refuse to remove themselves.
Mike A
Iβd love to upgrade from my older gen m12 impact and drill. Would use it around the house and garage. I typically use the m18 platform at work.
Mayra
I am taking a course to become an electrical technician…I know its not common for women to enter this field, but more women are doing so now a days. I need this tool as I am currently borrowing one for my course and it would be nice to have one of my own for when I hit field and begin my on OJL..specifically one that has been upgraded like this! I would make the job easier and quicker. Thank you, Mayra.
Russty B
Iβve been a die hard Makita fan since itβs what my dad had dozens of years ago, and I like the 18v very much. I also have some Snapon 14v for automotive stuff which is great too.
What Iβve noticed is that Milwaukee seems to bridge the gap between these two brands – right in the middle of construction AND automotive.
Iβd be very curious to try them out as their line up seems to cover all bases (something Makita is lacking unfortunately), and help me consider getting down to one system.
Trevor
I currently do not have a drill/driver combo. I would use it for my everyday woodworking and repairs around the house.
Terry
Currently using Dewalt 20V stuff, but a smaller driver would be great to keep in the house and the camper.
Chris ares
It’d be a nice upgrade from my m12 impact I use at work, and I won’t need a velcro stap to keep my battery attached anymore lol
PETE
I’m an m12 user that would use this set to replace my gen1 m12 drill+impact that has served me well since 2013? It’s going and going but they are coming to the end of their service.
I have a floating shelf project on my todo list that is going to be integrated with some recessed cabinet lights in the kitchen. And then working on some custom built in closets for my children.
Derek
Been waiting to pick up one of these sets for a while now. Between all of the house repair work I’m behind on and the numerous woodworking projects half-started having to switch bits and batteries as often would be fantastic. Also having a smaller drill to toss in my tool bag when I have to go help someone at their house would be great. Mostly though, I just want to get into the Milwaukee 12v line.
Rob V
I have been using the M12 impact for a while, we do home automation and the size and weight is practical. Would love to upgrade from the last model and put it to the test.
Jeff R
I’ve been putting tools together for my 2, and soon to be 3, boys since they love to help me around the house. My full size drill and hammer driver are too big for them to use or tires them out pretty quickly. I bet the weight on this would let them get started a little sooner since they’re itching to do so. I just love the fact that they’re asking for saws, hammers, and screwdrivers for presents rather than a Nintendo. Such a huge confidence builder for these little guys. Got to love it!
wolka264
I do a lot of dirt bike and snowmobile restoration projects so the mechanic focused m12 tools like the die grinders and ratchets have always been appealing to me nut i haven’t pulled the trigger yet. This would get me into the ecosystem and put me over the top to get some of those tools. I would also really benefit form having another drill and impact driver as I am constantly leaving my current ridgid 18v tools in the wrong place. It’s either in the house with whatever reno project I have going on when I need it in the garage or in the garage when I need it in the house.
G. Greene
My wife passed nearly 4 years ago. I work on cars to occupy myself. This set would be a big upgrade from what I have now.
Mac
I would love to upgrade my current m12 impact, which is by far my most utilized (and dropped) tool, and the m12 hammer would be cool to have as well. The weight and form factor of the m12 vs m18 makes me grab them more often
Adam Wilson
I build and install cabinetry in a one man shop and would likely move these to the install kit to replace some pretty worn out 18V tools. Pretty well invested in the M12 line, have loved all but just a couple tools Iβve added. Thanks for all you do!
Bryan A.
I have always wanted to try the Milwaukee 12V line as I hear it’s the best. The specs on these look outstanding! I’ve always been a big fan of 12V as it works great for the vast majority of my needs. I’ve used the 12V Bosch line for a number of years and really like them. I enjoy DIY, wood working, working on cars, and repairing things around my home as well as my friends and families. I would definitely use these a lot! Thanks very much for the chance!!
Astros 50
Iβd love to win this drill and driver set. Currently the only Milwaukee tools I have are her 12 volt 3/8 drive ratchet and a 12 volt screwdriver. I absolutely love both tools. The screwdriver is a mini drill powerhouse. I grab for it on all kinds of jobs.
Iβd use the drill and driver set on all sorts of household projects.
Ed
I have been an M12 user for the last 10 years. My drill driver (brushed version) finally died a month or two ago and I would love to replace it with the hammer drill in this kit. The 3rd gen impact driver, batteries and charger would give me more “power” for the dozen or so projects I have throughout our home, garage and two outdoor sheds ( one is one and one is metal) plus repairs on the large wooden ‘tower’ that is part of the zip line set up in our backyard (came with the house).
Alpha
I would use these tools for my general house projects, and for building the shelves and bed frame the the wife has been bugging me about.
Matt
Iβve got a few M12βs and they have just βworked.β I mean, they are lite and great to work with and not feel exhaust after a day using them.
Love to win it, but if someone needs it more than me, give to them and youβll have another convert to these power tools. Worth every penny.
Saulac
The drill would complete my transition from Dewalt to M12. I have been using the impact for light drilling tasks (like a barbarian, I know) and have to go back to the Dewalt 20v for the more demanding tasks. With all positive reviews, I believe this drill can handle all I need.
I have about 20 M12 tools. I also do mechanic works, so M12 is the only logical choice.
I appreciate how M12 tools have grown in performance to be the “main tools” I also have recently concerned about how M12 tools also grown in size and weight ( you see this in most tools that went from bushed to brushless). I hope Milwaukee does not lose the “replace hand tools” focus. And I hope my concern is proving wrong with these free sample.
DeekMcGeek
I find myself doing small projects around the house and the M12 would be perfect for its portability.
Matthew Farewell
I would use it for my inside house tasks and small repair projects. That way I could leave my dewalt set in the garage. I feel the dewalts are just a tool line meant to be dirty. Whereas the Milwaukee brand is a tad more classy cool! Iβm already bought into the m12 lineup for cutting and ratcheting, so this would fit in nicely!
Sean
I would use this kit for working around the house. Iβve recently started getting into Milwaukee cordless tools and really like them. I reach for them as my primary cordless tools now.
S. Solomon
Am a beginner wood worker trying to get some new tools. Milwaukee would be a dream to have.
Cory
I’m adding a new door in a hallway where there wasn’t a door, at homeowner speed. Naturally, the tools I have are too long to screw in where I need to add additional support. The impact driver appears like it would allow me without using a right angle bit.
And the bonus M12 batteries are a plus.
Tool Junkie
I love to win free stuff! I’d like to have one for the ability to use on tasks around the shop & home. I have a couple of M12 tools.
Gary
Been βyellowβ for many years. Last Xmas bought my first Milwakee combo kit. 12v screwdriver. Liked it so much bought a 2nd one plus one for my daughter for her craft work. Was looking to the upcoming holiday season to expand mr βredβ collection. Very happy with the 12v line!
JMG
I have yet to use any of the m12 platform… I would use something like this for testing whether or not to buy into it.
GlenR
I’m a hardcore Dewalt guy but I needed a cordless ratchet before Dewalt came out with one so I bought the extended m12 cordless ratchet and love it! I’d like to try some more m12 tools so please enter me in the giveaway. Thanks and appreciate your reviews!
Joseph
Would love to win this to be able to start working on wood working. I have just recently started looking into wood working as a weekend hobby and would love to have this as it is light but strong.
Dennis
I’ve been a Milwaukee M12 user since they came out. That is the reason I would love to have Fuel versions. Mine predate the Fuel technology and are starting to show their age. I think I would use them mostly for drilling and screwing. I would have to say that hammer drilling would be useful, I have a project where I have to drill holes in bricks coming up.
Paul
I am a huge M18 and M12 Fanboy. Have just about everything except the G3 Drill and Driver. Needless to say I must get this new stuff. Please skip the selection process and send directly to me!!!
With Gratitude,
Paul
Mikey G
My old Milwaukee m18 drill die and I would love to expand some m12 as I have two m12 tools so far
Mike
Big fan! I’m both an m12 and m18 user. I’d use the new tools in building my house!
J
Looking forward to picking up a smaller/lighter set of tools to start my daughters on their own DIY journeys. Unfortunately for me they’re ready to graduate beyond holding the flashlight, so I’ll take any headlamp recommendations, or heck, guess it’s time for M12 lighting!
Will Nolan
Definitely would come in handy doing my home theater install this winter!
Davethetool
I have the Generation 1 of this set. Itβs quite a bit larger in length and I could use the smaller compact size for those tighter workspace areas! Huge M12 user with all 3 drive ratchets, impact wrench, brushless screwdriver, Recip saw, right angle drill right angle impact and multi-tool!
Jeff hawkshead
I use my bosses m12 kit. I just had heart surgery and my car broke down the day my wife brought me home. I can’t afford new tools at the moment and my current set of drills are 10 years old and beat up. I’d be able to give my boss his tools back.
Mike C
I am well invested into the M12 line but haven’t gotten around to buying these (I have old brushed yellow drill/driver set that just haven’t died… I’ve even got the baby chainsaw!
I’ve been building cabinets for my house (pocket hole boxes and paint grade face frames) for a couple of years and would use these to up my game in that endeavour.
Gregg
I have been a Milwaukee M 12 user since it was first launched. My tools are use 6-7 days a week and I have no complaints. I do a lot of nonprofit work which keeps me very busy. These two new drills would become very handy in my every day activities.
Bill
I love my M12. My go to set. While I have plenty of M18, they stay packed away. Milwaukee knows how to put large power into small packages
Do I need more M12 tools? Yes, yes I do.
KokoTheTalkingApe
I’m an M12 guy, mostly, but I had most of my tools stolen a few months ago. I need new everything. I loved the small size, light weight and ample power of my old M12 tools and I miss them greatly.
I would use these guys for small construction projects and handyman work.
Econnolly
I would use this at the motorcycle shop me and some friends have been starting. We’ve been successful in getting the paint and tune up part of the shop moving but want to do more larger projects for people. We recently blew the chuck on our M18 and it would be nice to have a backup for it/when that happens again. We would mainly use this set for maintenance and custom work on motorcycles. Specifically we specialize in older pre 1970s Harley but will help anyone if asked
Luki
I recently bought a house and these tools would help me with my renovation. I like my old M12 tools and this would be a great upgrade.
Botbuilder
I could really use this set to build my tiny boat. Having compact size without a performance impact would be great.
docjavadude
I have several tools in the M18 series but am very interested in the M12 line due to their smaller size and the strength they bring to handheld power tools. I would reach for the M12 drill and impact driver for household tasks and smaller jobs for which the M18 tools are kind of overkill. While I am disabled from a rare lung illness, I am able help several neighbors with small “handiman” jobs. It would be fantastic to have the smaller tools to carry with me!
Blythe
I have a non fuel m12 basic set that works fine, but I do yearn for the compactness and extra power of this version.
I use m12 tools for ladder work, since the pod style batteries secure nicely in the hammer loops of my tool belt
Mikeee
I don’t have any Milwaukee power tools. This would be a great start to test and own this kit
TacomaBob
I’d give this set to my son as he does not have a drill or driver. It would start him off right with a quality set.
Ryan kirby
M12 the best out there for size and power. I’ve been using gen 2 for the past couple years and always impressed.
I’m an electrician so I’d use it for a myriad of things! Driving tapcoms, installing devices, holes for wire the whole shabang!!!
Allan
This is perfect timing as I am putting up a metal shop building. This combo would be perfect for helping assemble the building and a lot lighter than my current m18 tools.
Erik M
I was a long time Craftsman then Dewalt user and recently upgraded to Milwaukee for the one handed reciprocating saw to cut down some branches from my trees in the backyard and was amazed by the ease and power in such a light and compact tool. That was enough to tell me I needed to start swapping every other tool out I own. Plus my wife got me my Milwaukee workbench/tool chest combo that would match perfectly with this new set. I mainly use my tools for home improvement but also love taking my tools over to friend’s homes to help with their projects as well. I’m sure once they see these in action, they won’t need mine as they’ll finally buy their own Milwaukee tools.
Craig Wiener
I would love to win this Milwaukee M12 kit. I am a Bosch user and would love to give the Milwaukee line a try. I would use this for general use at home and at occasionally at work.
Brad Copeland
I recently bought some OPE M18 tools and would like to get into the m12 platform as well.
Ben Moreland
Would love to use these around the house and on the jobsite. Slowly transitioning away from the larger 18v/20v tools to the 12v platform. They’re smaller and easier to work with than the larger tools.
pete
will use at work
Dieselmade17
I am an avid Milwaukee user. I’m a Diesel mechanic and have been for 5 years I have 7 M12 tools and 5 M18. I’ve been looking forward to this next gen of Milwaukee drills and drivers and excited to try them out at work and at home as my wife and I have home projects that we partake in to build home furnishings and such. Pick me dude! Haha
Nathan S
Definitely would go to my dad. He’s got a couple random M12 tools (spotlight, stapler), but needs a legit drill and impact. Of course, that means I probably will get the most use of it when I visit, and he asks me to do stuff for him. I guess it’s only fair…
Marc
I have one M12 tool right now and would love to expand with more. For my DIY uses, M12 seem to be the sweet spot. I’m not using it day in and day out and I appreciate the lighter weight and near, or as good as, M18 power. There’s lots of small and medium projects around my house that I would use these tools for.
belikemike
Drilling and driving! Drilling and driving all day, every day! I will use one in each hand.
Jaime Barbosa
So Iβm building my house next year. I think these would help a ton since I already have a couple of m12 tools and donβt think I need m18 since Iβm going to take it slow mostly by myself.
OldDominionDIYer
I do have a few M12 tools but not these! I have the bigger and heavier M18 versions which are great but usually they’re just too big and powerful. These would likely be the “goldilocks” size and power rate. We are nearing the end of our Chapel renovation there will be plenty of detail work in need of completion, installation and or adjustment so I will put these both to good use! Send ’em!!
Shane
Love the M12 line, would love to upgrade to this new kit to use for work!
David F
I just moved into a new apartment and am living on my own for the first time. I don’t have any power tools as of yet, and was already looking at grabbing an M12 drill because we used them in college. I plan on getting everything M12 that I could possibly need, including a heated jacket for these Minnesota winters.
MV
I’m on M12 platform and would love to have an upgrade. I really appreciate this opportunity!
Cody
I would use this beast to take apart my cars! My roybi’s are very bulky, and well I’m to cheap to buy new things XD
Aaron SD
Iβve been very interested in the M12 line and all the tools and how itβll help me. Iβve been hesitant to add another battery line but could be convinced after trying these out.
Domingo Precones
I’ve been using milwaukee on my job as a technician and using milwaukee working on houses building decks and storage, milwaukee have so.much power and the battery last longer, I Love to.have more so I don’t have bring home the one that I used in work, βΈ
EERattler
I’m definitely looking to get further into the M12 line.
Kyle
If I were to win the M12 set, they would be a great addition to my current M18 set. I’m a handyman and there are times were I need the smaller form factor the M12 would give me to get into the hard to reach spaces that my M18 drills don’t allow, or at least without having to use a super long extension with the Milwaukee elbow added at the end, which is a pain to control.
mbtalontsi
I currently have a few different M12 tools. I use them for at home diy. I don’t have a drill and impact driver set in M12. Always looking to expand my collection.
Jared T
I have just started electrician apprentice position and would like some light weight and long lasting tools. They would be used for electrical boxes, switches and other things for commercial buildings.
I am hoping to become an M12 user.
MFC
Holy cow! I’ve got the Gen 2 set so I’m good but thanks for the giveaways!
Gilbert Salinas
I had a Craftsman 12v combo kit and used them until they they couldn’t run, loved the compact and power they had. I’ve heard really good things about these M12’s.
David N.
Building a playhouse in the back yard for the kids! Next up new workbench in the garage!
David
I have an aging 1st gen rigid 18v drill and impact driver I would love to replace with a smaller set such as this. I have looked at the m12 previously but figured I should just wait. A smaller firm would be great for all the household upkeep/chores Iβm always doing.
Ryan Ferus
As a plumber apprentice I use impacts and hammer drills constantly for our new construction and repipes here in Jacksonville, FL. From securely strapping pipe, mounting shower valves, and drilling holes for piping, I’m constantly using various brands of impacts and drills depending on the plumber I’m with and Milwaukee products have by far been the best power tools I’ve used. I’d love to have a pair of my own to bring to my every job!
Vincent S
I am an aircraft mechanic and I would use the M12 tools to keep the people that are flying safe. I am currently a M12 user but would like to expand my M12 collection in the future
Daniel C.
I want to give it to my dad. He’s almost 80 yrs old and loves building things and tinkering. I think the power and weight of the Milwaukee M12 drill and driver would be a great size/weight for him with enough power for anything he wants to do with them. He has an older M12 non-hammer drill that he has worn out drilling concrete and driving screws. This set would be a perfect replacement and upgrade for him.
Todd Wright
I’d use this for home renovation work. Currently use Rigid but would rather use Milwaukee.
928'er
Geez, I really, really need yet another battery platform…
blkirsch
Current M12 user here, but my M12 tools are the older brushed versions. I have some fencing repairs on my to do list that would benefit greatly from these new tools, especially if they can out perform some of the 18V options in market.
Jcanzobre
I have a really old Makita 12v kit and I really want to move to the M12 fuel line. I use this across the house in the car, in my work everywhere
John
Iβd use them as an entry point to m12 to start replacing my Porter Cable 18v tools.
DML
Not currently an M12 user, but would like to add the product line to my workshop for more mechanical type tasks due to the compact size of the tools.
Whitlow
I want the M12 set because I don’t currently have any subcompact 12V tools or anything Milwaukee for that matter other than bits and screwdrivers. Maybe then I could swap out my other red stuff which is Porter Cable and Craftsman – lol π
I’d use around the house and for other projects, plus it would be easier to transport for other projects.
Joe Caruso
I donβt have any Milwaukee tools yet. This would be my first set. I just bought a house this year and the projects are quickly piling up. I would use the new tools on DIY projects and maintenance.
I Love toolguyd.com
Keep up the good work
Liang Y.
I want to win this because I’m tired with the M18 combo set that I have because it’s too heavy and cumbersome for everyday use and I think the M12 kit is exactly what I need for the daily uses that I would use for.
Eric H
This would be my first “red” tool, would love to give it a go around the house!
Travis+D
M12 was one of my first cordless tool purchases and I would love to be able to upgrade for working around the house and shop.
Joel
I use the entry drill/driver m12 set with the m12 oscillating tool. All used for house work. If I won this set, it would ride in the work truck for smaller tasks. We are team red at home and work!
Stacey Jones
Count me in. I’ll use for DIY and around the house work.
Tom P
Iβd use these for cabinet assembly. Iβm a Dewalt man now, but would be happy to find a 12v system.
Bradley
I am a electrican apprentice who has always used dewalt, but has been disappointed in my dewalt tools and need something better and more compact than my 20 volt dewalt, I am ready for professional tools
Nick
I could use them both for for finishing my basement. I’m sure they’d come in handy working on the cars too. I currently have an M12 3/8β ratchet.
Diego Diaz
I would use these to do plumbing work. I’ve already got a lot of Milwaukee tools but you can’t have too many.

I’m an HVAC tech, and servicing rooftop units is a real hassles, as a large percentage of commercial /industrial buildings only have ladders to the roof hatch. I’m using a Dewalt DCF887 20v impact, and it doesn’t fit in my service pouch, so I usually end up having to rope up a tool bucket. This tool coupled with the 5 or 6 AH batteries adds a bit of weight to my kit, so the compact form factor M12 would be fantastic. I haven’t been able to bring myself to buy it while my Dewalt still works, but winning this one would be much easier on the budget.
Dan
These would be a great upgrade to my older m12 tools. They would come in handy with my new home build.
Gerry
I’ll use this set to build an arbor to grow grapes for my wife. I don’t have any M12 tools but would love to get an upgrade from Black and Decker drill.
Skyy
What a great opprotunity.
Well, I just started my own company working on yachts, so the tools would help me get off of the ground.
I really appreciate your website anyways!
Have a great day.
Iron-iceberg
I have the first gen m-12 it is wore out and I would like to upgrade. I use them for cabinet installs as they fit in such small places but have the power to drive big screws.
Thanks for the opportunity!
John
I already have some m12 tools so this would be handy for the work I do (commercial construction)
Blackie
It would be a great opportunity to use this New set to test the upkeep of power and durability compared to other brands that I’ve used from DeWalt,Ryobi to Porter Cable drills , impacts which I use consistently in drilling concrete, brick, wood, stucco, etc installing metal ornamental security bars on doors , windows to security systems, running electrical wiring in conduit., Sincerely, Blackie
Andrew Mohl
Iβm a fleet manager for the federal government and an avid DIY guy. I recently moved to Germany to support the US Army too. My team and neighbors love the quality of my Milwaukee M12 tools. Overall they are the best most high quality set ive ever used. The M12 oscillating tool is awesome! Sanding, cutting, drilling, grinding, my M12 stuff does it all.
This set would allow me to continue to demonstrate why Milwaukee is the best, in an international environment even!
Luis Hernandez
Im a m18 user but trying to get m12 tools for small project i got going on at home
Charles
I would use them to work on my motorcycles and around the house. I have some old brushed stuff but nothing this nice.
Donny McFarland
Currently working on our fixer upper with my wife. We just had a baby so funds are very tight! The hand-me-down Craftsman power tools are slowly dying and honestly just not feeling capable of performing many common tasks. If I won, I’d probably end up expanding further into this particular battery platform for additional tools and capabilities. We’re hoping to put an addition on and these could easily handle 90%+ of the tasks required to build and finish that space. Thanks for the opportunity!
Sam G.
I’ve built up my m18 set up for a little under a decade now. My best friend, however, is a yellow power tool guy since day one (you guys know which one). I got him to look up the new m12 impact driver while raving about it literally today. First time hearing him get excited about another power tool! If I win, I’m going to “borrow” the m12 set to him for a very long time. Here’s an opportunity to help convert my best bud into a believer!
JoshG
My cordless is getting older and heavy. Be interesting to see if m12 is enough for all my projects
John M
I not only am a Milwaukee fanatic, but I use both their USB, M12, and M18 lines of tools. I am always updating my tools and using them for my side jobs as well as my career as an HVAC technician. There is literally nothing Milwaukee has that I won’t buy: Heated apparel, PPE, lighting, power tools, hand tools, tool bags, Packout, writing utensils, speakers, outdoor power equipment, drill bits, etc.
Joeh258
Would use it for my side hustle as an electrician
Dan
I’m a big fan of m12 tools. I bought an early generation hammer drill/impact driver combo when it was on sale years ago and I use them all the time for home improvement and hobby projectsβrocketry, etc.
Before this I had dismissed anything less than 18V tools as toys that weren’t up for βseriousβ use. I couldn’t have been more wrong. My 18V tools are gathering dust on the shelf and I have purchased several other m12 toolsβcircular saw, 3/8″ impact driver, etc.βto build a light, compact, versatile kit.
John
If I were to win this M12 kit I’d put to use it immediately for finish trim carpentry and finish electrical work for a remodel project I’m working on.
I currently a few M12 tools specifically for automotive work (stubby impact and ratchet) and they’ve been a game changer even for a home user who only does basic maintenance.
Bobby
Thereβs a lot of woodworking projects with pocket holes I want to make, these would be perfect for that.
Eric
I’d use it to build some biking features (ramps, bridges, etc) around our yard where carrying my larger Makita set isn’t needed. And yes, I am an M12 user, thanks to Toolguyd π
Kyle
My boss owns every Milwaukee tool under the sun and we use them on the job every day. He’s used nearly every brand there is over the years and he swears these are the best. I’m working on getting my own business outfitted with tools so these would be a huge benefit to me.
Jp
I am very interested in this giveaway. I have more m18 OPE than m12. My 18 drill driver can’t fit where I need it. Now my house is old enough that most of the initial builder grade stuff is breaking. I need a set of m12 compact tools like this to repair lighting in tight spaces, and other projects. I do have the m12 system, only the inflator and hacksaw for plumbing because of the tight spaces thing.
David Campbell
Amazing power tools for a deserving person. At my age I have accumulated a wealth of tools , so much my friends need not ask if I have the correct one to help them out. I am a manager of an auto body facility. Power tools are a must in this industry. Having said that, if I am the fortunate recipient of these wonderful power tools I will present them to one of our body shop employees. David is a beginner body tech helper and is such a nice young man and works very hard. He is still learning and is willing to take on any task given to him. Since the shop requires techs to use their own tools David has had to buy used tools off of Craigslist or Marketplace. They are not the best. I think this Milwaukee set would be a wonderful addition to his toolbox and benefit David greatly. Thanks so much.
Tyler Giles
Replace my M18s except for heavy work. They weigh too much for routine tasks.
Kris
I do commercial HVAC service and my chiropractor suggested I get lighter tools. So the M18 driver with the XC battery would stay in the van until I need to set new concrete anchors.
Mopar
I’m in Dewalt 20v and Ryobi 18v, but I’ve been looking for some smaller stuff. I don’t mind investing in a new battery platform for a smaller form factor.
Daniel
I’m an electrician and this M12 is so superior to the DeWalt I used in the past. The power is amazing but the comfort and ease to use all day is the deciding factor.
Charles N
I am a m12 user but only have the blower and shop vac. Would love to build my collection. Would use it for small tasks around the house
Eric
I’m an HVAC install apprentice, I use M18 Milwaukee but never tried m12 or the fuel range. Would love to see the drill blow 3 inch holes into houses for venting. Would love a lighter weight impact because I’m constantly running into situations where the M18 is too chonky monkey to fit behind an a/c or into tight supplies shoved in a corner. That little drill has hammer functions as well? I would be getting my job done quicker than ever when dealing with minisplit linehides going across brick/ concrete walls. I can not count the amount of times I’ve made the “I gotta potty” face while on my back in a crawl space pushing a fat M18 drill with fat batt into someone’s beautiful floor boards.
David
I work in access control and security installation. I would use this set as my daily drivers for all my job needs.
Tom
Just got the M12 Fuel oscillating tool and would love to build out M12 kit.
HG
It would be so helpful to win this set! I’m a petite woman with a bad shoulder and arthritis hands so the M12s are lighter and kinder on my body. I’m a handy woman and currently working on a remodel. Thanks for a chance to win this giveaway, and good luck everyone!
Chris
Ooh! Count me in! Iβd use this for a variety of diy projects and home improvement tasks.
I am an m12 user, I donβt have a huge collection. But Iβd certainly like to add an impact driver to my collection. And an upgraded drill would be handy. Who doesnβt love having more drills around π
Tommy
I would use this as my daily driver. I do service and install work and already use some M12 tools, like the M12 HACKZALL. I really like using the M12 platform for the power verses weight when hanging on a tool belt.
Joe
Just like Jason+S prior I would use this set to kick off replacement of my older Bosch 12v stuff. They just don’t release enough tools in the US to justify buying more (of the same kit) for the newer batteries.
Eventually the batteries I have will be too weak to use and what to do at that point? I already use Milwaukee 12v at work and it is great, but those are work-issue and US Govt frowns on repurposing issue sets.
Milwaukee has a lot more options in 12v and I’ve got Ryobi 18v for the weird one-off tools they have, the sprayer is great.
Andy
I have enjoyed using smaller Bosch12v drills before, they are great for woodworking where I don’t need the power of a full sized drill, and the size and weight of a smaller drill are better.
The Milwaukee M12 hammer drill is especially appealing because the power is uncompromising and the 1/2″ chuck can handle larger bits. I would also be able to only carry one drill in my bag, it is always great to be able to drill for wall anchors without having to cary extra tools or make an extra trip.
Milwaukee also has a much larger selection of tools and great specialty tools for their 12v platform, so this set would be a great gateway onto the M12 platform.
Bill Bai
Been waiting to get into the M12 ecosystem. Just have never had the pressing need for it.
Rspanos
These would be a great starter set to give my son.
J1024
I would use it around my house for small projects!
Changjiang
I will use this set of tools to do auto repairs and home improvements. I have not used M12 power tools.
Thomas
DIY around the house, maintenance on cars, working on my homebuilt airplane project, just general fix and repair stuff. I am an M12 user already and this would fit nicely into my collection.
Robert Y
This would replace my aging Craftsman 18v cordless set, which is my sole set for the house. Iβd use the m12 set for all of the projects around the house. It would definitely be an all around upgrade for me.
Ben
I’m interested in checking Milwaukee and 12v products. I’ve been using DeWalt and Craftsman 20v lines for quite some time and I’m thinking about 12v products for their size. Hopefully I’ll become an M12 user. I would use the tools for DIY projects around the house.
Lawrence Braun
I will use this tool kit to replace the one my boss lost at work. He replaced it with a 3/8 M18 impact that is too large to fit in many places I used the M12 in and the 3/8 doesn’t accept impact bits that I change out constantly for various things at the shop
Joe M
For a number of years, I attempted to stick with M18 tools instead of accumulating both M12 and M18 batteries. Well, I finally deviated from that strategy a few weeks ago and picked up a M12 OMT. Now that I have taken the plunge, I am looking forward to expanding my M12 tool collection. The new M12 drill / impact driver kit would be a great addition to replace an older Bosch 12V drill that I have, especially now that the M12 has a mechanical clutch.
Adam Vermillion
Love M12 stuff. I would use this to finish my basement this winter.
Jake S
Love that smaller impact. Currently use an older M12 impact everyday (nonfuel) and definitely could use an upgrade for work. That drill would be nice for work due to my M18 taking up some space, that M12 will come in clutch
Jaden
It would be neat to test it out against the last generation m18 fuel hammer drill that I have and see how it compares I’m m18 fan I would give it to my dad
Thomas Hunter
I have been thinking about trying Milwaukee having always been a dewalt guy. I like that their 12 volt batteries are cylindrical, unlike dewaltβs – seems like it would be more compact. I also really like their 23 gauge nailer, but itβs a bit pricey with the kit. Thanks for doing this!
Craig
Iβd use these tools to finish building my studio. I have a few M12 tools but no Fuels. These would be a great improvement.
RicC
I’ll give my previous gen set to my dad and this one for myself. As a DIY/Tool enthusiasts this M12 line is really a good balance between power/weight.
Christopher Vazquez
I recently just lost my tools in a robbery. So I’m saving to get everything back bit by bit. Being able to be given this opportunity would be huge! I was always wanting to move into Milwaukee but never had the money to be able to splurge on a high quality, high tier tool like Milwaukee. I win this it would be the sign for me to start putting all my money into Milwaukee Tools from the start.
Michael Hammer
Iβm so glad to hear that you had such a positive experience with the latest generation of M12 drill and driver. You may recall that I have a deep lineup of Milwaukee tools. I would happily replace my waning first generation M12 drill and driver. Being a home remodeler, they see a lot of use. It just so happens that my M18 hammer drill is all but dead. I would love to try out the new version of M12 to see how it compares. I had the first generation M12 hammer drill, but it was severely under powered, so I returned it.
Thank you, Stuart, for sponsoring another great giveaway.
Matt+the+Hoople
Been interested in the M12 platform for a while now but could never justify the jump. These would be a great starter into that line.
Tim
I would use them to expand my M12 set which currently is only 2 items. I like the size and weight of M12.
Luke burner
I have and always will use Milwaukee tools, got started with the M12 line up when I was helping in a body shop. I have been impressed with the power. If I win this set I would use it to maintain my sons wheel chair.
Liam
I would use this drill set to finish my basement. I have a bar that is mostly finished, using a DeWalt impact drill for woodwork, but requires drilling into cement block to complete the wall paneling in the bar area and I don’t yet have a hammer drill (plus my wife won’t let me justify a switch to Milwaukee on tools she already got for me as gifts lol). Once the bar is complete, I would hang dry wall to completely finish the rest of the basement. I would also frame out a wall and install a door to separate the man cave from the laundry room. Greatly appreciate the opportunity for a chance at this prize!
Todd+shaffer
Since I have to buy my own tools. This will be general usage around the job.
Kevin Sp
It would be my every day carry compact set for using on just about anything. The βalways have it with youβ set for efficiency in any situation where you donβt need to run back out for the bigger tools. It would be fantastic for this considering the form factor; the power to weight ratio makes it perfectly suited.
Dave Gress
Iβve used Milwaukee tools since I was a teenager with my dad. Great memories working with him. Iβd use the M12 set in a variety of ways but mostly with my son to give him some great memories of working with his dad like I have
adam m.
These would definitely be useful around my shop for putting cabinetry together
Elfatoisback
Hello,
Mobile welder running an 4yr old 18v ryobi drill and driver kit. Beat to hell with metal shavings and heat use. Definetly not its user base, but needed something for some use intermittently, not my bread and butter. Would use it to sonsolidate my pack and add the hammer ability for anchorings. I have been eyeing the m12 fuel line and milwaukee in general for being able to take a beating.
MichaelT
Would love to have this set to pass along to my brother in law who’s still sporting a NiCD B&D set. Hard to convince him that no one compares cordless drills by how many drywall screws per charge they will install, but I continue to hold out hope.
Yusef
I would use these in the renovation of my barn into a studio / workshop.
I’m a big fan of M12, have the rocket light and inflator, would be great to add
these to my lineup…
StephenB722
I would love to win this set as a gift for my father. I have a few M12 tools and heβs always admiring them when I help him with a project. He would love his own set.
Andy
While I have a solid tool collection, I donβt have any of the M12 series yet. I have found the smaller sizes of most manufacturers are ideal for projects around the house because they have plenty of power and the lightweight is much appreciated and this is what I would use it for.
Michael Tolan
I would love to retire my over ten year old Milwaukee cordless drill with the new set.Best tool I have owned, but getting tired.I will use them in my ongoing quest to rehabilitate my 1970 VW Beetle
Adabhael
Ooh, these are so appealingly compact! My dad has a previous generation of brushless M12 and Iβm always amazed how powerful and how small and handy they are. I think I would use these for pretty much everything around our new-to-us house, and especially the kitchen renovation, I bet the driver fits just about everywhere.
Guy B.
I would use for DIY projects and general homeowner maintenance and auto repair. I have older M12 and M18 tools these would compliment. I have used many different cordless brands and I always gravitate to Milwaukee for ergonomics, power and compact batteries.
Adam
Recent first time home buyer with many renovations in the works. Iβve helped others renovate their houses in the past and 10 years ago I was gifted my first M12 drill for helping a friend out with their kitchen. That drill is still performing after all those years, but it would sure be nice to upgrade for all the projects Iβm up to my waist in now!
Scott Johnson
I would use them to replace my current, aging, Dewalt 12v setup. My current 12v has been used for installation, renovation, constructing decks, fences, garage shelving and evry other around the house task you can think of. More power and smaller form factor would be awesome!
Jon Bushbaum
I work as a Utilities Technician and would love to pack this set in my back pack for my many trips up to the roof to work on a number of different tasks! I would definitely put them to use!
MarkC
I currently have the m12 ratchet for automotive and would like to try other M12 tools.
Matt
I’d use this to be my foremost drill on a plumbing service truck. I’d like to get rid of 18v entirely, and this might be the set to do it with.
Tyler F
If I were fortunate enough to win this awesome giveaway I would use it to install air conditioners and furnaces in residential homes. I currently am using a large 18 volt drill and this drill set would work wonders in all the tight spaces I have to drill sheet metal screws in. This would be the ultimate game changer!
Lu Gar
I would like to win this set since I’m about to become an aircraft mechanic. I kinda lack the funds to buy an electric tool set, and everyone is pushing me to do so. I’m ready to learn and gain experience.
Lu Gar
I almost don’t have tools at all, but this would give me a good jump start! I wouldn’t have to worry about buying some hand tools, as I would have this.
Lu Gar
I am about to become an aircraft mechanic, and I would love to have this set. I almost don’t have any tools, and this would really help me with a solid jump start. Hopefully I can win. If not, a future congratulations to the person who does.
Brandon
If I win. I’ll use this for work. I’m at the ending of my 3rd year of apprenticeship to becoming a PIPEFITTER. Having power tools speeds up the process of work. It would be nice.
mahusy
I’ve been living the beg borrow and discount bin lifestyle forever. It would be amazing to actually have a current and quality tool to my name.
belliott
I would use the for the huge amount a home projects I have on my plate. I am interested to try 12v tools.
The other Jake
I’m 14 years old, but have lots of tools I’ve bought. I have already invested in some milwaukee m12 and would love to have more. I would use them to work on antique tool restorations, and small engine repairs. My hobby is working on these projects so it would be well used.
Chris
I would use these around the house with remodeling and as a way to sample what Milwaukee is offering. I’ve always used DeWalt at home or at work, and this would be a great opportunity to try something different.
Thomas Parker
Currently an 18 volt One + user…would like to get into something smaller for around the house tasks that don’t require maximum power.
Thomas Parker Jr
I am 21 and don’t have any power tools (only hand tools). Looking to move up in the world of tools
Steven
I’m currently using the Ryobi platform, but I have been thinking of switching to Milwaukee. I am a hobbyist woodworker, so this would be perfect for that kind of work. Not too heavy like some of the Ryobi 18v stuff I’m using currently.
TxMike
My 15 yr old Hitachi 12v drill and driver set are getting long in the tooth. The drill’s chuck is developing too much runnout and the driver just doesn’t seem as powerful as it once was. These have been great tools but are wearing out and I’m looking to replace them with something just as compact and powerful, yet lightweight, and I think the M12 tools are a good candidate.
Damian
The 12 volt line is just so comfortable and easy to use. I can definitely use this around the workshop and at home for so many different tasks.
Ross H.
There’s plenty of jobs to be done around the house with this M12 set, be it hanging pictures, building new shelving for the basement, building a work bench for the garage, etc. Heck, I’d probably be quick to put a 3/8″ square adapter in the impact chuck and use it on my project car.
I am currently an M12 and M18 user, with M12 tools including the 3/8″ ratchet, jobsite fan, drain snake, and inflator.
Bonnie
I prefer not being locked into any single brand. No cordless Milwaukee tools are currently in my workshop, but I’ve been thinking about adding some sort of lighter/compact system to my arsenal for awhile, and M12 seems like the best one going (or at least the broadest).
A-A-Ron
I’m a current M12 user and own the 3/8 stubby as well as the installation driver. This would be perfect for building handicap-accessible ramps at my local church and doing renovations at our neighborhood park. The M12 system is perfect for me as I don’t need the extra size and the power is sufficient for my tasks.
Mike F
I will use this Milwaukee M12 Fuel Gen-3 to do repairs around the house, because for a retired person living on a set income, I can’t afford to call a repairman every time something breaks down and has to be fixed.
Jon Miller
I have used my current M12 drill and driver combo for years. I love them! I reach for them way more than my M18. But they are really showing signs of their age. Over molding is coming loose in several places, they don’t always seem to realize there’s a battery and I have to release the trigger and try again a couple times, etc. I would love to try these new ones!
Rick Hegberg
My 20-30 (?) year old Craftsman C3 tools are old and I’ve been looking at Milwaukee & Dewalt to replace them. I use my drill for just about everything and upgrading to a cordless M12 hammer drill would definately make my projects go faster. I don’t have an impact driver and would be great to have one especially when I do my tire rotation.
Randy Niles
Current M12 user, although I don’t have the hammer drill or impact yet. Would use for a variety of installs, including plumbing and electrical.
Pastor Dan
I would gladly accept the M12 hammer drill and impact driver set if I am fortunate enough to be selected as the winner. I would use them as my EDC tools in order to give my aging M18 set a little bit of rest between the more difficult jobs, for which the higher power might be needed. (I’ve been using them since around 2011, I think.) I never know what I will be using my tools to fix, replace, upgrade, or install new. I am a general handyman and avid DIY, and serve as Facilities Coordinator for a growing church in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Anthony Bobe
I have Bosch 12V, always wanted to try Milwaukee, this would help me justify pulling the trigger into another platform.
I use them on all my jobs and projects.
Trog
I’ve been using some of the original generation M12 equipment when it first came out, so I’m excited to upgrade and see how it crosses over into the simpler jobs in the M18 territory. I’m a big DIY guy at home and would also use it for low voltage and electrical contract work.
Saman+P+Perera
For my woodworking hobby. Would be first time Milwaukee user.
Jim
What the heck, Iβm in.
Iβm still using the original Bosch 12v that were marked 10.8!
This would be a very nice uograde
potato
Would love both of these to help renovate my kitchen, I’ve also got the m12 shop vac(which I love) and the small rotary tool, so it would be nice to expand into bit of a real lineup of m12 tools.
Dave McDowell
These would work perfect at my job as a maintenance worker. Doing odd jobs such as drilling concrete , building walls and screwing 2x4s. The compact of the m12 would come in handy everywhere
Phillip hunt
I have been using Milwaukee for years in the heating and air trade. Love the M12 stuff does everything I need it too and keeps coming out with more tools.
Joshua Kaletch
I would really appreciate winning this srt of tools. I’ve always wondered how well the smaller voltage would stand up the other brands like DeWalt, Ryobi or Craftsman. I have never owned Milwaukee because of the price point and my skepticism about the power of a smaller voltage battery
Evan P.
I’d love the new M12! I’m on the platform, but I don’t have any generation of this product. It would be the perfect kit for an upcoming project building speaker cabinets for my father-in-law. I know I can use it to drill some pilot holes and drive some high quality fasteners to pull it all together. Now if only I could win a table saw too….
Jennifer
Winning this set could really help me get through my electrical labs/projects at school much faster. I am currently enrolled into the Electrician Program offered at my local community trade school. From here I want to transfer to a state approved school and get my ET card. In a Field Dominated by Men, as a Female one day I want to be in Charge. I donβt own any sets but my husband does. He loves Milwaukee.
Nathan Leitzel
I would use this for everything including working on my cars in tight spots where my m18 won’t fit.
nyall
This will go in my tool backpack, where I keep lighter tools for general/most property maintenance without having to go to the truck for something beefier.
Forrest
Augment m18 tools where smaller can be helpful
Erik H
I would likely use these around the house as I have been considering embracing the m12 line more. I still use my M18 drill/driver combo regularly but I feel that is more too than I reall need for home projects like finishing our basement. I currently have a few M12 tools but think it is a better fit for my use case.
Alexander Johnson
If I win this Milwaukee m12 set I will use it in my remodeling business I own a fair amount of m18 and use them regularly but as I am getting older I think more and more about something lighter and easier to handle and passing on my m18 to my son who recently joined my business and is about ready to start building his collection thanks
Good luck everyone
Craig J
Recently bought the Milwaukee cordless ratchet and oscillating tool. Seeing a noticable difference between them and my DeWALT power tools. Excited to get more Milwaukee power tools in the future
Rob
I have a 12v Bosch drill that I often reach for before my other 18v tools. I’ve been curious about the M12 ecosystem and would love to enter into it with this set!
Mark
These would be great to replace my old bosch.
Jason Goff
I would use these daily as a professional auto technician. I know I would love them as I have the gen 2 set at home to use on woodworking projects. It’s amazing what these 2 can do!
Jimmy Marroquin
I’m a Nissan technician. Been using my first gen impact for everything. From oil pans to air bags . Sure would love to have the new and improved
Jason
I use these tools daily,. I work in an automotive dealership. Nothing beats them. Many other techs have switched after seeing or using my tools. Durability, ease of use value can not get a better set.
Michael Rodriguez
I’ve been looking to get into the Milwaukee lineup for a few years now. I worked as a reset merchandiser and 90% or the guys had Milwaukee. I used one guys M12 impact to drive a self tapper and was seriously impressed at how powerful it was for the size. I have some DIY fence work coming up soon and I know this set would go long way in making this fence job go smooth.
Przemek Krol
I’d use these primarily for home reno work. I have plenty a handful of M12 tools and more M18 tools. Currently use M18 Fuel drill and driver for most tasks, but a lighter and more compact tool would be awesome!
TECH GUY
These are great tools! Working for an MSP (IT Service provider). We get plenty of use out of these for mounting, racking, stacking. LOVE THESE.
Scott
If I won this set I’d give it to my mother who is currently using my old and beat up M12 non-FUEL set. She is older and doesn’t do a lot of DIY anymore but power tools let her tackle some projects. This set would do everything she needs for the rest of her life.
Parke W
This would be really useful around the house and I have never tried the M12 drill or impact driver.
Currently an M12 user with the stubby impact wrench, 1/2 ratchet, and fan.
Sburton
I wouldnβt trade my m12 tools for anything. Other than OPE, I rarely need 18v power tools any more. I have Gen 1 and 2 of the m12 drill/impact and would put Gen 3 to good use. Would be nice to see how far the Gen 3 has come in 4-5 years.
Chris Smith
Being able to carry such a compact impact or drill that will keep up with or out perform the yellow “20v” in the guys hand next to you is why I continue to use my M12 tools. Me & a very good friend of mine do a LOT of work together, & he bleeds yellow! No matter what we are building, it’s a competition. He doesn’t even bring out his yellow 12, so it is always M12 vs. Yellow “20”. My impact is always hooked to my side; with or without your tool bags, going up ladders or carrying materials. My current M12 impact (gen 1 I believe) is the first tool I replaced after having EVERYTHING stolen by taking my Packout boxes. (BTW – the handle not being able to collapse down is a huge flag for the thieves while the Packout is in the bed of a truck) (NO, I didn’t have it locked)
If sympathy helps,,,, πΆ

I just started using the m12 platform, like bandsaw, 3/8 stubby impact, hoodie, etc… let me tell you, I can’t wait to hang a lot of my 18v line… lol… I’ve used the m12 drills, and they just feel so right, power wise and size wise… I’m really impressed with the 12 volt line by Milwaukee… it’s the go to at the moment… good day fellas

I have the first milwaukee fuel brushless M12 drill and driver. They have been through the very worst. The chuck doesn’t lock and stay I have disassembled both cleaned up and lubed every thing once a year. But they are all used up. I have done electrical, remodeling, mechanic, used the drill for a lathe, concrete, pumping, a fan I have probably found more uses than any one person should for a power tool. A new kit would be nice as these are all but with the tool gods now. But I would only replace them with milwaukee. Yes I also have some m18 just no drill or driver
Mike Cheung
We just bought our second work vehicle for my small biz, would love another set of capable drills to park in it. We do a lot of signage installs, so the M12 platform is more than enough to keep us going.
Ian Carroll
I want this Milwaukee M12 Fuel cordless combo kit because I have M12 drills from years ago and done many home renovation projects with them, but they aren’t quite as powerful as this new generation and are starting to show their experience! With future projects on the horizon it would be a great additiom yo my Milwaukee tools! The impact would be a much needed upgrade to help with all my home mechanic jobs as well!
Marko
I plan to gift it to my father. He still uses his ancient corded drill to make furniture for the family.
Jerry Guevara
At work we recently got the M12 Rivet gun, which has excellent performance. I prefer to use it over the air compressed rivet guns. After using the M12 rivet gun it inspired me to look into other Milwaukee tools. At home I started planning a woodworking project. I’m now a proud owner of the M12 Jigsaw and M12 Circular Saw. You go to buy one tool, you come out with two, plus other things that weren’t on your list. So now I’m here hoping to upgrade my old and worn out power drills.
Nick
What’s not to love about Milwaukee tools?!? They have stood the test of time, and I’d love to be the owner of this combo set.
This will be a nice addition to my tool bag and will be great for projects around the house as well as work.
Gilbert Gaska
I have been a big fan of Milwaukee tools for about 20 years. I have a set of the old cordless tools that the batteries have died. It would be great to move to the newer platform. I donβt need the most powerful tools, but these are nearly perfect for my needs (IT guy and amateur woodworker
Stacy
I work as a fire truck mechanic for a city fleet and use my Milwaukee tools on a regular basis. The only M12 tools I own presently are a 1/4″ rachet and a 3/8″ rachet. I’ve been thinking about purchasing a M12 driver and drill and possibly an Underbody light. If I win this giveaway it would free me up to buy some other Milwaukee tools. Hands down the best battery operated tools I’ve ever owned! You have a customer for life!
Miguel Ramirez
I would use it at work. I’m gonna be working on aerial lifts for the next 2 years in a hospital project and this tools fit better in my tool belt. I want to prevent to dropped from heights and hurting someone.
Jeremy
I would love to win the M12 set to use in car audio projects. My M18 drill is a little too bulky to work in some areas.
Kc
I’m using milwaukee tools to do a lot of house improvement for ourselves. I just started jumping to m12 platform the past few months, along side with all the m18 tools already in arsenal.
Brett
This would be a good start to my M12 collection.
Christopher
I would like to win this set because I like how compact they are. I would like to invest furthered into the m12 lineup.
Adam B
This is a perfect kit to maintain a house with, would love one! I have some M12 stuff but itβs mainly lighting and an inflator, all of which Iβve been extremely pleased with. From all Iβve read Milwaukee in leading the pack in this tool segment and Iβd love a chance to put it to the test?
Patrick
I love my M12 gear. Use it all of the time now. I would keep the drill and donate the driver to my mother along with a spare battery and charger.
The M12 are my first go to tools. I have my full size for other uses when needed. 90% of the time, I don’t need them at all.
Mark forder
I use m12 tools in my job as a fire stopper in a hospital, these tools are ideal as they are small and light great for small spaces and have the power to do any jobs they are asked to do, with ease. And with the larger batteries there is no need to keep changing for fresh ones as they will happily go all day. I wouldn’t use any other power tools and recommend them to everyone I speak to.
Jon
I would use these tools to be able to perform some projects and repairs around the house and to help with my beginning journey into wood working.
Greg
Would use this to build a backyard ice rink this winter. Currently have an old craftsman set that has limited battery life.
David
You know. Need to drill all the wife’s pretty little holes. Gonna take alot of screws. She wants those curtains up.
Adam
Plenty of M12 tools, but no traditional impact. Have a M12 hammer drill, but use the M18 Surge for most use, though ironically needs to be sent in to service right now.
M12 kit would be used on the farm, as well as house needs. Prefer using the smallest tool capable of getting the job done (without struggling).
CDB1340
Really hoping we will see brushless Fuel versions of the rotary tool, angle drill, and angle impact, and a soldering iron that doesn’t melt. Other than that, this is a phenomenal line of tools that pays my mortgage and puts food on the table daily.
Dan
I work for general contractor and we basically do remodels, room additions, decks, etc. A couple of months ago I decided to invest and upgrade my tools. I had been using DeWalt for several years but thought I’d take a look at what other tool brands had to offer. I ended up going with Milwaukee M12 tools. My only regret is I didn’t know there was a difference and didn’t get the M12 Fuel drill and impact drivers. I am impressed with what I have but having the Fuel set would be even better for what I do, especially when using structural and deck screws.
Khurram Gilani
My father is a fan but back in my home country, we do not have these tools. If I win, it will be a gift for him when I travel to visit him next.
Micheal
I do not currently have any m12 tools. This would make a great start to that collection. It will most likely end up in my office for working on network equipment and cable installations.
Elan
So I’m a huge fan of Milwaukee already I have a few of the pack out items and some of their M18 tools I recently picked up there in 12 pin nailer with one battery and I am absolutely loving it for what I use it for. I do cabinetry so a lot of the time I do a small compact and tight spaces or I’m having to carry multiple drills around with me throughout the day going through different houses I think the small impact and Hammer tool will allow me to easily connect a boxes together ect
drewkaree
Looking to rehab a vacation house, and would love to have these to accomplish the task. The smaller size and lighter weight would be a great help at the end of each day, with the ability to perform just as well as the larger tools
Cchickering
I’d use this on our 10 acre homestead. I use both the M12 and M18 lines but prefer the M12 due to the lighter weight.
Thomas
Hello, I would like to win this so I can expand my tool collection. I would use it for working on the vehicles I maintain and around the house projects. I do not have very many power tools so I started with the cheaper m18 set to get me by and I am just now getting into the m12 stuff. I currently only have one small m12 battery and the air compressor for it. Thank you!
Craig
I work for farm an have many different jobs. If I am was to win the Milwaukee M12 set I would use in everyday in a million different jobs from electric to fencing. I have a co worker that has a set like this and they are the best tools for what we do. I am a Milwaukee user but I don’t own one currently.
Keith
After spending the past few weekends building a deck with my Father in Law, him using a compact 12v and me using a fullsize Milwaukee 18v impact driver, I realize that sometimes bigger is not always better.
His was able to match mine screw-for-screw driving deck boards, albeit with a shorter battery life.
After the weekend, my arms were sore but the ‘old timer’! said he was not and jabbed me about getting soft!
TJ
I would use the kit for cabinet and vanity installs as a βfull timeβ volunteer for my local Habitat for Humanity. The smaller M12 footprint would enable easier access versus my M18 versions and is lighter in weight / more maneuverable.
Artie Dionisio
Just started using the M12 platform and love it. I’d classify myself as an advanced DIY / hobbyist woodworker.
Also, regardless of the contest, awesome website. I may not comment much but I love the content.

Chris Huggins
I would use it to build my deck
John Shakon
I Love my M18 tools but at time they are a little a bulky and overkill for smaller projects. Would love these for the smaller projects!
Jim
I love the M12 series! It has been extremely helpful in my projects. I am looking forward to seeing how the new one compares to my old one.
Stephen
If I won these would be used for household projects. I have an older drill that these could replace. They would be fantastic as they’re lighter and more powerful.
My work uses a lot of Milwaukee products and I’ve been impressed by them. I don’t have any M12 but would like to start a collection!
Bibloblaw
Doing flooring in my whole basement and this would be great!
Lincoln
I’ve been watching M12 enviously for awhile and need an excuse to start a collection.
Rock Hound
I would like to use these for their extra compactness as I set up my basement shop and make it more safe for my new son!
Mathew+W.
I will use these tools to replace my 18v Ryobi’s. As I’m getting older the full size tools are just getting too heavy for me – especially for overhead work. Actually any excuse is great for getting new tools!
Test McTest
Currently a big fan of the M12 stuff: have the crown stapler, gen 1 drill and impact, bandsaw, radio, and light. Grabbing the tech installation driver over Christmas to handle a cabinet job for a friend.
If I win, the gen 1 drill and impact will go to another client of mine to replace his no-name 12v nicad battery drill from eBay.
Dave
I’d use this kit to have something portable and reliable to use for DIY projects around my house and to easily transport to help with projects at my friends’ and family’s homes. I’m a current M12 user with an older generation of the drill and impact driver that are frequently borrowed by friends and family.
Mike
I am on the fence about updating my old Bosch nicads. Winning this would push me off the fence on which color to move to.
John Blair
I love my M12 tools. I’d upgrade to these and hand my current ones down to my kids. I have plenty of batteries (I may have gone crazy on a buy a starter set get a bare tool free promo), so two of the four can be happy.
My three favorite M12 tools: Tire Inflator (keep it in the car and add pressure whenever I am at a charger on the road), M12 Surge (quieter) and Pin Nailer (Its just so dog gone cute).
Ryan
Would love to give this set a go for general around the house tasks. I have an older bosch 12v driver and really enjoy the 12v size factor for certain tasks.
Tyler
Looking for a set of compact tools to do projects around the house. Newborn is two months old and a lot of pictures are being taken and framed. I dont know anyone else thats going to hang them for my wife.
Evan
This set would be a very exciting addition to my M18 Milwaukee drill and driver. I am building my off grid home currently (a yurt in Vermont) and have many big projects left including my bathroom/shower house. I have been using my M18 kit for everything and do not own/have never used any M12 tools, but I think they would be much easier on my wrist. After driving screws all day with my heavier M18 my wrist really bothers me, but as a public school teacher I can not afford to buy additional tools that are more comfortable but similarly functional to what I already have. I would be curious to try the M12 tools and see if they are able to do everything I need so that I could spend less time running my heavier tools.
Nathan K
Not sure how I missed this…. I currently use the M12 Line. I would use this to replace my older 1st Gen tools that aid in household and auto maintenance tasks.
I would probably gift down my older tools to less tool inclined friends and family as I typically do.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Adam
I am a big user of Milwaukee M12 line. I do a lot of DYI around the house for my family. Being on ladders all the time and holding your hands above your head gets me fatigued fast. The m12 allow me to last longer. I donβt have any m12 fuel and would love it. If I win, Iβll gift my regular m12 drill to a friend just starting out as a joke buyer.
JTG
As a new homeowner I need all of the tools I can get. On the other hand, as a new homeowner I no longer have money to spend on cool things like tools. On the other other hand, as someone born and raised in Wisconsin I’m definitely on “Team Milwaukee.” I have a few M18 tools, but no M12 tools yet. If I won these, I could expand my tool selection in either direction.
Abner Diaz
These drills would be perfect to use while doing residential electrical work
D Tam
I do have M12 tools but most of my DIY work are done using by my Dewalt 12V Xtreme drill/driver. It would be interesting to see if this best in class GEN3 M12 drill/driver can actually replace my 20V max Dewalt drill/driver for more heavy duty application.
Chris
Need something more than the 1st gen M12 set for drilling through steel and/or installing cabinets!
Chuck
I would like to use these to see how a high end 12v performs compared to an entry level 18v Ryobi brushless.
YJ
Build a new pergola. I have other m12s but no drillz.
Street
I would give this set to my mother. She uses an m12 screwdriver, but definitely needs an upgrade. We’re renovating an old cider factory in a little river town so these tools would get a lot of use!
John T McD
I have quite a few of the Milwaukee M12 and M18 tools that I use for around the house tasks and hobbies. I don’t, however have any of the Fuel variants. I’ve wanted them, but couldn’t justify the cost of them, compared to the standard tools.
Mike kotur
Im a yellow cordless tool guy . I want to see whats the hype around those mini red guys. I would use it on finishing my and my daughters tree house . π
MikeK
Love m12 system. I would like updated model to use for diy and side jobs I do.
JCDIY
I will use this for electronics installation at work (industrial electronics). Their form factor is great and with the new upgraded clutch on the drill driver things should be a bit more accurate.
LyndeeLee
My business partner and I shared a collection of Dewalt 20V tools until I got tired of repeatedly being asked why the spare batteries weren’t charged. So, I bought my own set of M12 tools and left him to keep track of his own batteries, blades and bits. However, the M12 drill doesn’t match his for handling small drill bits or overall power. So, I would love to have an M12 drill capable of keeping up with the 20V drill.
I use the M12 and try to expand my collection regularly. My favorite is the jigsaw and least useful is the stapler which just doesn’t have enough power for upholstery projects.
Brandon S
I would be using this for general use around the house and DIY type projects. I already have some M12 tools like the Heated Jacket, which is phenominal, and a cordless ratchet in addition to an older combo. I could use some newer batteries and the newer tools are obviously a plus, and would allow me to pass on my older combo kit to someone else.
GBrowning
Perfect size to carry in the daily tool box.
James McGregor
Never used Milwaukee before, but I’d love these for working on a deck!
Brian B.
I’d be new to Milwaukee tools. I’ve been a yellow and black user, but I’ve been considering a switch. I’d give these a thoural workout in my job as a welder/fabricator.
Superpooper
have m12 be nice to get the new gen stuff… have a house to rebuild.
Sanjay Nasta
Starting a big project remodeling a house. These would be perfect. Not used Milwaukee before.
