Milwaukee M12 Fuel Brushless Stubby Impact Wrench Kit with Extra Battery 2554

This Milwaukee M12 Fuel stubby brushless 3/8″ impact wrench kit promo looks to be a hot deal today, as part of Home Depot’s Cyber Monday sale.

I peeked at our affiliate reporting – something I do this time of year to see what readers are buying – and this Milwaukee promo showed up a couple of times in the list.

I took a look, and it indeed looks like a really good deal.

The promo starts off with the tool-only Milwaukee M12 Fuel impact wrench, 2554-20.

Looking online the tool-only is selling for $199 right now, but you do get a free bonus battery with it.

With this deal, you get the impact, plus a starter kit with XC 4Ah battery and charger, and a bonus High Output 2.5Ah battery on top of that, for $159.

I looked up the price of the regular 1-battery kit, and found that the impact is kitted with a charger and 5Ah battery for $249.

I can see why this is a popular deal. For $90 less than the price of the kit, you get a slight downside in battery capacity from 5Ah to 4Ah, and lose the tool bag, but gain a 2.5Ah battery and extra money in your pocket.

I’ll check back later to see if I can pick up on any more buying trends. I’d also love to hear about the deals anyone is buying.

Home Depot also has an M12 Fuel 3/8″ cordless ratchet bundled with a 4Ah battery and charger for $159, although it doesn’t come with the bonus 2.5Ah.

Pretty good deal on the impact wrench. I got one a couple years ago on sale for about $130 bare tool. Really handy wrench that I use all the time. Nice compact size and plenty of power for mid-size fasteners. I’d definitely buy it again.

      Sorry – peeked. Thanks!

I’ve used the 1/2″ anvil version of that stubby to swap out spare wheels on my truck a couple times. The first time was in the Lime garage at Disney Springs in Orlando. A security guy in a golf cart was about to roll up and offer help but as soon as he heard the signature crack of an impact, he dipped out, probably thinking “this guy has it covered”. The swap was knocked out in under 7 min. I keep some m12 stuff in my truck, and its useful.

This is an excellent deal, and I highly recommend the m12 fuel impacts. Thanks for all the deal info, Stuart!

I really like my stubby, but where it really shines is with the bigger batteries.
(I use mine on non heavy duty 18 wheeler stuff)
Had a friend who needed some help getting his broken dunnage boxes off of his Oomanac trailer.
I offered to help with my impact. Took the 6a battery to break the 15/16 bolts that had been there for some time.
I started out with a 2a, then a 4a, then finally the 6a. (I should have worn hearing protection!)
The stubby did get a bit warm, but it got the job done. (I’m sure a mid torque, or the 2767 was the correct tool, but I don’t have those)
