Over at Home Depot, they’re running a special limited time M12 tool kit freebie promo. Buy a select M12 cordless tool kit, and get a free tape measure (a personal favorite that is valued at $15 via Home Depot), PLUS a free tool or bonus Li-ion battery pack.
There are a couple of eligible kits, and many different freebie options. For instance, here are the free tool options for the 2520-21XC M12 Fuel Hackzall kit:

- Hackzall (non-Fuel)
- Right angle drill
- Oscillating multi-tool
- LED stick light
- Impact driver
- Drill driver
- 3.0Ah high Capacity battery pack
It’s unclear as to when the promo ends. Perhaps it will run month-long, or until supplies run out.
If you’ve been pining for a new Milwaukee M12 tool or kit, this is one of the better deals we’ve seen. Most promos offer a free tool or free battery, but this one gives you multiple freebie options, and you get a bonus 16′ tape measure as well.

I just got a promo email from ToolsPlus – and they seem to be having a similar deal but without the added tape measure. So maybe if you are in the market for an M12 tool (I think I have my quota) then some price comparison (with and without shipping and sales tax ) might be in order
Matt
I really would like that Pro Pex tool
fred
A very good tool – and I believe it will work with the expander cones from the manual Uponor tools – but I may be wrong – so you should check.
John
It does they just won’t rotate like the ones that come with the milwaukee unit
fred
With the manual tool – we used an adapter to have the cones auto-rotate:

Just bought the driver and Multi tool combo, I have been meaning to tryout Milwaukee tools over my current Dewalt set.

I took advantage of a similar deal to purchase the drill and right angle drill and they are excellent tools. Im gonna purchase the impact kit and hackzall kit this time and get the omt and xc battery. Thatll give me a pretty extensive setup with the 12 volt and to be honest since Ive gotten the m12’s I’ve RARELY needed to reach for my 18v makitas. They accomplish probably 90% of necessary tasks and fit easily in my every day tool bag.
Mark
I was at my local Home Depot this afternoon and they are having what I though was the same sale. However, looking further they are not offering the extra tape measure and seem to only have four kits and four tool only options in total. Still not a bad deal. I had the inspection scope kit and the M12 impact driver in the cart and decided to hold off and order online since there significantly more options to choose from.

Stuart do you think there is any likelihood that they will have any deals with the new sander? These ones are tempting indeed but I am eager for that one @_@
Stuart
If you’re asking about the new sander/polisher (https://toolguyd.com/milwaukee-m12-polisher/), it doesn’t look to be included in this promo. There’s no way to know if it will be included in the next promo. Sometimes HD’s Milwaukee promos only focus on certain tools or kits.
PsykoRok
Yeah, that be the one. I work in aerospace and being able to do surfacing and clean up edges tankless is a huuuuge draw.
Here is to hoping they can put all that innovation into a long awaited trim saw!
Tyler
Thanks for the post. I snagged the hacksaw and right angle drill combo.
Stuart
Great, I’m glad you found the deal post to be helpful!
I keep eyeing the drill/driver and free hackzall kit myself, thinking it would be a great compact household drilling, driving, and sawing kit.
Tyler
That right angle drill is great for installing aux fuse boxes.
I’ve been following the post on milwaukee products this is my first purchase from them but to me it seems that they support their lines better than dewalt. At least that’s how my few 14v dewalt a feel lol.
Aaron
Is there a way to get a good list of what freebies can come with which kits? It’s kind of hard to navigate the way the HD site has it laid out.
Stuart
A lot of the eligible kits are available in different bonus kits with each of the freebies.
Easiest way to sort is to search by model number, which shows all the regular and promo options.
Matt
Aforementioned Matt here, and I still can’t decide if I should keep my Bosch 3pc kit from Menards, or return it and buy a m12 combo from Home Depot. Planning to add oscillating tool and hackzall depending on which platform I go with. Time to retire the 10+ year old Dewalt 12v nicads!
Nate
I was in HD on 9/9 and saw that they reduced the brushless impact driver from 169 to 139. This bonus item promotion ended on 9/3 but since one of the guys missed taking down a sign they sold me the impact kit at 139 and I got a free 4ah battery.
BTW, this month they are doing the same thing with milwaukee 18v.
