Free Milwaukee XC6 battery with HD12 starter kit hero

Stuart previously wrote about the free Milwaukee M18 HD12.0 battery with select tools deal, but there’s another free Milwaukee battery deal also going on. If you buy a HD12.0 Ah starter kit with charger (48-59-1200P), you’ll get a free M18 high output XC6.0 Ah battery.

Here’s exactly what you get:

  • M18 High Output 12.0Ah Battery (48-11-1812)
  • M18 High Output 6.0Ah Battery (48-11-1865)
  • M12 and M18 Rapid Charger (48-59-1808)

This 48-59-1200 starter kit is regularly priced at $249, and a single XC6.0 battery usually runs $149, although you can pick up a 2-pack for $199. So, we’d treat the free battery as “$100 value.”

Free Milwaukee XC6 battery with HD12 starter kit display at Home Depot

At Home Depot they have a display with the special bundle. This display has been in both of the Home Depots I’ve visited so far, but they were both hidden over by the Pro desk. So if you don’t see the display, ask. (Or order online for in-store pickup or home delivery.)

Stuart’s Note: Supplies seem to be limited. One of those stores near me has “limited quantities in stock,” which probably explains why I didn’t see it when I scouted out the deals today, and others in the area each only have 2 or 3.

My local HD has a few of these, hidden behind the rolling toolboxes. I’m debating picking one up, as I could use another few M18 batteries, and I bet the cordless vacuum would finally have some decent runtime on a 12Ah.

Agree. I’m kind of shocked at how fast the cordless vac can suck a battery dry. If I had known it was going to be this thirsty I would have bought the corded Ridgid version for 1/2 the price.
