Thoughts
This combo kit, 2695-25CX, appears to have been specially put together for Home Depot, and possibly for this promo.
Last year, there was a 4-tool combo kit at this price, with the bundle including a hammer drill, Sawzall reciprocating saw, older style impact driver, and 2x 3Ah batteries.
It looks like this deal, $299 for the 2695-25CX combo kit, is a very good deal. You get regular Milwaukee M18 tools – nothing like other brands’ entry-level tools that pop up in huge quantities seasonally.
The only compromise I can see is that you get low capacity battery packs, at least compared to today’s standards. There’s a compact battery pack, which pairs well with the drill, impact driver, or LED flashlight, and an XC battery pack which pairs well with the heavier duty tools – the circular saw and Hackzall reciprocating saw.

$299 seems to be a fair price for a 5-tool combo kit. I looked at some of our past combo kit deal posts, and $299 seems to be the target for 5-tool promo bundles.
Between now and June 30th, I’d expect to see a Deal of the Day on a Dewalt 4-tool or 5-tool combo kit, based on historical data. There was a Dewalt and Milwaukee deal last April, a Dewalt 4-tool combo kit deal last June at Amazon, and there was a Father’s Day-timed deal on a Dewalt 5-tool combo.
I don’t think there will be another Milwaukee combo kit deal, but there tend to be frequent “buy this tool kit, get something for free” promos.

Speaking of the “buy get” promo’s CPO has the buy the crazy overpriced DeWalt 2 5ah starter kit $299 get 2 free bare tools promo going on. Best bets are the D-handle and jigsaw to maximize the deal.

toollup has the same deal. Great prices. I’m still pondering it even though I’m not on dewalts battery platform. Best deal, if you need it is the metal shear. Half the tool options are brushless version even. Great if you’re on the platform so you don’t have to get more drills which all kits start with.

What are you writing here? Sorry, bu I can’t make sense of it.

This is a great deal! I got the similar four tool kit (minus the circular saw) in November and have been really impressed. The hackzall is really well balanced which makes it great for one handed operation up on a ladder or when you want/need to support the work piece with one hand and cut with the other.

Well, I just found this sale and pulled the trigger on this combo package with Home Depot for $299, and I can tell you it is one heck of a GREAT buy! Read on…
Today I was in my local hardware store, a “Mans Do It” affiliate, Chelsea Lumber in Chelsea MI, looking for a circular saw… I picked up a Milwaukee 7 1/4″ M18 Fuel with THE 9 amp battery, charger and bag for $249.00… That 9 amp battery alone sells for $200… The saw sells for anywhere from $150 on line, to $200 for just the bare tool, no battery or charger. So, if you are looking for a 7 1/4″ circular saw, and trust me, it is a top notch saw, hunt around your neighborhood Milwaukee dealing hardware stores… I about fell over when they told me the price. I believe this sale is on for the entire month of April…
Oh, my hardware store had the same circular saw in the Home Depot package, 6 inch, bare tool, best price, $179… It was a no brainer buying this set up from Home Depot… And I want that little saw. 😉
