The Home Depot promo might last longer, but after seeing the promo live on their website I dug up a promo email that mentions 5/28.

Well damn it (/:)!!!!) Just dropped $720 on
    1 x fuel hammer drill,
    2 x fuel 1/4″ impacts,
    and (6) 4.0amp batteries.
Not a bad deal at all, plus I totally plan on using the 20% off entire order from HF to take that total down to ~$575. Amazon has (3) batteries for ~$235, so with the 20% im close to a free impact.
Thanks for the heads up Stuey, and the draining of my biz bank account.

Time to sell my last gen Hitachi 18v Li-ion set, and my lack luster Dewalt 20v system.

Just noticed the promo was still going on but interestingly, while I was in my local store over the weekend, their signs said the free battery was a 3.0 instead of the 4.0.

That could be based on what the stores have in stock. But online it says explicitly “Free M18 4.0 Ah Extended Capacity Battery.”
