Aaron wrote in about an amazing deal on Milwaukee’s new M18 Fuel framing nailer, with a link, saying:
I know a lot of us have been waiting for a deal on this nailer.

He’s absolutely right – we have received a ton of requests over the holiday season with readers asking for deals on the M18 Fuel framing nailer.
Although a little late, this is possibly the deal many of you have been waiting for.
Over at Home Depot, they have this Milwaukee M18 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo kit plus M18 Fuel framing hammer combo kit, priced at $399.
The brushless hammer drill and impact driver combo kit, with (2) 5.0Ah batteries, charger, and case, is at its regular price of $399. The framing nailer is bundled in at no added cost.
The framing nailer is typically priced at $349 as a bare tool, and as a 1x 5.0Ah battery kit it’s regularly $449.
So, for $50 less than the framing nailer kit, you get an extra battery and essentially a free M18 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver. Or consider that with this bundle you’re buying the hammer drill and impact driver combo kit at full price and getting the framing nailer for free. Either way, this is a fantastic deal.

Nailer SKU: 2744-20
This is the 21° [round head] framing nailer.
Thank you to Aaron for the tip!

Well shoot. It’s out of stock

Out of stock, ordering is closed.
John
When you look at the prices on the other bundles at that same page, seems like $399 had to be an error. All the other bundles are in the $600 range.

Too bad I already have a dewalt framing nailer. And that drill and the surge m18.
I had to buy into the dewalt like for their roofing nailer and framing nailer last year.

They made a mistake makes the most sense. This would be crazy cheap.
I will say a number of relatively new m18 and m12 tools have had some darn good PKG deals, especially in HD deals of the day near when they first come out.
I believe it’s a marketing tool that HD and mke collaborate onto get them spread out among users at the brief expense of profits.
I’ve gotten a few of my tools this way.
Related is a few years ago when milwaukee was really expanding their hand tool line I ordered a bunch from an online place(cpo, toolnut or similar) in a 2 for 1 sale that lasted about 2-3 days. They were buy 1 get 1 free and at already reduced(below msrp) sale prices. I spent about $400 for likely over $1000 or 1200 msrp of hand tools I needed. It wasn’t very limited like sales often are and they had enough quantity or few enough people aware of it that stuff stayed in stock for a while.

This would have been a fantastic deal. I bought the 2745-20 as a bare tools for $314 at Great Lakes Power Tools as part of a Black Friday promotion – and thought that it was a good deal. The recipient sure liked it.
Ben
Well that was a disappointing tease. I’ve been watching this nailer like a hawk for weeks now (after Black Friday unfortunately) and not only are there few deals, they’re frequently out of stock at retail price. Hopefully this was a real promo that will come back, but I suspect it was a pricing error. It’s too good to be true.
Clay
Anybody get one?
I saw it on VGC and tried to snag it but it was already taken down.
Rob
I have an alert set on slickdeals.com where they send me an email any time “Milwaukee” was posted on a deal title. I happened to check my email in time to get in on the deal. I got an order confirmation email for it but not a shipping one yet. We’ll see. Someone on slickdeals said they showed 1,000 units in stock initially.
Aaron
Yup. Mine is still “being processed” so maybe? Price has adjusted up to $699 now as well as being marked OOS. If there were 1,000 and it was a$200 mistake I bet someone is having a rough day
Andrew
I got tracking about 30 minutes ago on mine – luckily I saw it BEFORE my “Milwaukee Notification”.
JerryP
I would have snapped that up in a heart beat. I’ve been kixkng the tires on the drill /driver deal but had to but the nailer. Got the through ACME for 10% off. Sigh.miased that one.
Aaron
Mine has now shipped. I ordered before posting and I’m first comment on the slickdeals post, so that might not mean much for later orders
Rob
Mine has shipped as well.
Andrew
Great news. I didn’t comment on the slickdeals, but I sure as heck ordered! Think there were 3 comments when I saw it.
Ben
I think I speak for the rest of us, and say this with the upmost respect. Y’all suck! 😀
Glad somebody got the deal.
Adam
HD rarely, if ever, cancels mistakes. If they take your money, and as long as the product is available, it will be sent.
It was also a $300 mistake, hopefully that x99 marketing wank didn’t pull one over on your math.
John Blair
Yeah, this deal was good enough I would have bought even though I am not in the Milwaukee Battery Platform.
John
Some of those bundles that did ship most likely will be split up and sold for profit on ebay or fb martetplace.
aaron
it won’t be enough to lower resale value much, but maybe slightly in some markets. There are a lot of combos that include the m18 fuel drill/driver right now and almost none including the nailer. I’d expect to see drill/driver prices drop slightly on resale sites but nailer prices stay about the same.

Back in stock email notification for the low low price of $699…

I have had the Milwaukee 2745-21 30 degree variant for a month now after returning the Dewalt DCN-692M kit. The Milwaukee delivers a much more reliable powerful hit with phenomenal rapid /bump fire! while I was up in a dark attic I really appreciated the light that the DeWalt failed to incorporate. The only downside is that it is VERY heavy by the end of the day. I wanted the DeWalt to work but it was a horrible tool. After 2 weeks of use it stopped setting 3.25″ nails properly. I had to manually hammer nails flush shooting regular 2X Fir Framing.
