Over at Acme Tools, their Black Friday 2020 tool deals are now LIVE. I’ll be sorting through those deals in greater detail soon, but I wanted to share about their Packout tool box deals in the meantime.
There are 12 models on sale right now, including the Milwaukee Packout organizer that was recently on sale – I wrote about this and ordered 2 for myself, tool bags and open totes, the 3-peice combo stack that always goes on sale for the holidays, their large tool box, and other models.

Even the mounting bracket is on sale, at $10 off its regular price of $30.

This extra freebie bonus offer includes the half-size tool boxes, large tool box, tool tote box, organizer tool box, and folding hand truck that Milwaukee Tool just recently announced.
Not all of these are sale prices! The half-size tool box, 48-22-8422, is regularly $60.
But many are on sale. The large tool box, 48-22-8425, is on sale – it’s $60 right now (and eligible for the bonus freebie) and is regularly priced at $80. The rolling tool box, regularly $129, is on sale for $90.
You can choose between a free Packout tool bag and rolling dolly at checkout. There will be a blue box under the item where you have to click “select gift” and choose your freebie.

Free shipping is on $199+ orders, or $6.49 for orders under that amount.
I’m sure you can find something else you might need in Acme Tools’ Black Friday deals to push you over $199.
Although it’s not shown as part of this deal, Milwaukee’s low-profile compact organizer is on sale for $20, from its regular price of $25.
Are you taking advantage of this promo?
Personally, I’m thinking of buying a large tool box and two compact tool boxes, which would also get me another rolling dolly. I’d also add on another organizer, and this would put me over the $199 threshold. I was holding out to see if the low profile compact organizers would go any lower, but if I order now I might get two more of those as well. Packout tool boxes and organizers are pricey, but extremely durable, and some of their products are very nicely suited for my needs.

Thank you! I am very glad I didn’t go buy that rolling dolly from HD this weekend. I got a couple crates and ammo can.
I almost got the handtruck, but i’ll wait i think.
Stuart
You’re welcome, and thanks for letting me know!
I’ve been tempted to buy more of the open totes/crates – I bought 4 last year and they’ve been seeing a lot of use.

Those look really useful – and the milk crates from Duluth are $8 and nowhere near as nice. Grabbed some.

I’ve ordered from Acme a few times and never had a problem. What I don’t like are those inflated regular prices they’re showing with these deals.
Sam
I agree.

No one saw the packout sell like they wanted to last year so I’m guessing there will be quite a bit of “the more you buy, the more you get” packout deals, or slight reductions in price from “normal” sales.
Stuart
They always sell really well, just not the full-price combo packages that took a while to be discounted.
I always feel that the bundles are aimed at new users and deals like this are better for those of us expanding our kits to fill specific needs.

Thank you for letting us know about this deal. I am currently changing from the Ridgid modular boxes to the packout and i scored everything i needed with this deal. I tried buying these from Ohio Power Tool since their sale started 2 days ago, but at the end of the day, the shipping cost killed any savings. Having these for the exact same price along with free shipping and a free dolly just made my day. I got 11 mounting plates, 1 large box, 1 small box, and 2 crates, along with the bonus dolly. I can wait until these arrive!!! Thanks again for the heads up

That is a lot of mounting plates, what kind of install do you have in mind?
Abner
I just bought a work trailer, and i have some of the muscle rack shelves. Im going to screw down the mounting plates to the shelves in order to be able to lock in the boxes and not have to worry about using bungee cords. I was originally going to wait for the packout e track racking system, but at the end of the day, using the shelves and mounting plates is just as good for me and its alot more cost efective
Stuart
You’re welcome!
I’m with Frank – curious to hear about your setup.

Last year Ace hardware had the regular depth, 1/2 width for 19.95.
Do you have anything from Ace ?
Stuart
I haven’t seen anything yet.
