HOT Deal: Buy a Milwaukee Tape Measure (25′), Get One (16′) Free!

Milwaukee Tape Measure Free Bonus Combo Pack

Over at Home Depot there is a new promotional Milwaukee tape measure combo pack that includes a 25′ magnetic tape measure AND a 16′ tape measure, for the price of just the 25′ tape (SKU 48-22-5125).

We reviewed the Milwaukee 25-foot tape measure a while back, and it remains one of our favorite tape measures. I liked it so much that I bought a 16-foot model as well!

The 25-foot tape is typically priced at $25, and the 16-foot tape $20. The price of the free bonus combo pack is $25.

You can purchase the special combo pack online with free shipping on $45+ orders, and there’s also a free ship to store option. Although I learned about the promotion after spotting an in-store display, HomeDepot.com currently lists the bonus combo pack as an online-only item. If you want to purchase the combo pack locally, you can call your Home Depot to see if they have a display up in the front of the store yet.

The only downside about these tape measures is how they’re a little noisier than models with less durable tapes. You can hear what it sounds like in the above video. Despite this minor gripe, I am very tempted to purchase one of these free bonus promo packs. I had been meaning to buy another 16-foot tape, and this deal essential means I would be buying the 16-foot tape at regular price and a 25-foot tape for just $5 more.

For years I’ve been using tapes where the stated measurement is at the start, or left of the mark. On my 25′ Milwaukee the true measurement is at the end, or right, of the mark. I’m having a hard time adapting.

Great tape measures for a lot of uses.

My gripe is the huge catch. Sometimes it’s just too big for accurate measurements.

My only complaint is that the tape measure wont stand up on its own. Its really a pain when I’m trying to mark lines while holding the workpiece. I cant count the # of times the tape has fallen off my workpiece. If they would fix this issue, it would be best tape hands down.

Standout on this tape is awful compared to a cheaper fatmax. That’s a deal breaker for me.

I love this tape. I mostly use fat maxes at work. I am a plumber and I love and only by milwaukee power tools so I decide to give this double pack a shot. 1st the 25 foot tape is huge, the 16 foot is small and compact and lite. I also like the scale ruler that they have added to the tape, this has helped a lot. Ad the clip is the best. Buy this tape you will love them.

If anyone from Milwaukee reads this, please offer this package with metric tape measures in Canada. Thanks!
