There are quite a few deals, as part of Home Depot’s deal of the day today. I started out by describing some of these deals as HOT, but they’re all excellent “I’d buy that RIGHT NOW” kind of deals.

- M18 10-tool cordless combo kit for $599
- M12 3/8″ cordless ratchet with Packout tool box for $99
- 7pc metric combination wrench set for $25
- M18 Fuel brushless hammer drill and impact driver combo kit with Packout tool box bundle, for
$349$299 - M18 Fuel brushless cordless 7-1/4″ sliding miter saw kit with bonus blade (one of the new ones), for $369
- 48pc Shockwave bit set for $13
- Shockwave 1/2″ thin wall deep socket set for $45
- M12 cordless LED flashlight kit for $75 (here’s the preview post)
- 12pc 3/8″ metric socket set for $35
- Select WorkSkin base layer shirts are also on sale, from $21 to $32
These are all really, really good deals.
Strangely, the Milwaukee M18 Fuel combo kit and Packout bundle is currently lower priced at Amazon, $306 via a 3rd party “Fulfilled by Amazon” seller. Maybe they bought a pallet of these at low pricing when a store clearanced out too many they couldn’t sell?
WAIT, that’s not true. The Special Buy Deal of the Day page shows the M18 2-tool and Packout combo as $349, but click through and it shows up as $299. It shows up as $299 when added to my cart as well. Too bad the other deal offerings don’t drop an extra $50 when you take a closer look!

Deals end at 3am ET 6/2/2018, unless supplies sell out sooner.
Thank you to everyone who wrote in with tips!

The 3/8 inch ratchet deal looks good. You posted about a similar past deal at ToolNut – for the 1/4 inch ratchet. Neither one were for the latest Fuel versions – but still probably useful tools – with 3/8 drive likely having the edge for general applicability.
On the 7-1/4 miter saw – HD had been promoting it for $349 as a special price. Now they add $20 to the cost and bundle in a new blade – that seems like a decent deal

I have the M12 Milwaukee 3/8” Drive Ratchet and love it. Yes the newer brushless version has a bit more torque but with the added torque also comes added size and weight. The added size of the Ratcheting Head has prevented me from upgrading. My local Home Depot has both the brushed and brushless versions on display so I would suggest looking at both versions in person before purchasing.

Is the bundled packout tool box large enough to actually store the m12 ratchet in it? Also, I am hesitating between buying this non-Fuel ratchet and saving up for the Fuel version. It seems that the new one (M12 Fuel ratchet) is actually larger than the non-fuel version. More torque (55ft lbs vs. 35) seems nice, but I am not sure I need it (mostly working on motorcycles). Any advice?

I presume that the tools are bundled inside the Packout, so… yes? My guess is that if the tool is too long, it’s fitted with the battery separate from the tool. I have not seen these in person yet.

Turns out the ratchet kit (ratchet, batter and charger) are sold stored packed inside the packout box. This, however, means that there are no standard storage bins included.

I ordered one of the light weight shirts to try out. Reviews seem positive. I already have the One-Key D/I sets which is the only other deal that seemed to grab my attention. Ratchet Packout is a good deal. I wish they had one of their larger sets of wrenches to try out, preferably ratcheting. I don’t like getting a 7-piece starter to only need to buy the others later.
