Cordless 8300-01 Dremel Multi-Max 12V Oscillating Tool

In addition to the upcoming Dremel Trio, Dremel will soon be releasing a cordless version of their Multi-Max oscillating multi-tool. This will be the very first cordless tool under the Dremel brand that is not a rotary tool. Dremel highlights that with the new 12V Max Lithium Ion batteries first introduced with their 8200 cordless rotary tool, the cordless Multi-Max will be able to provide the same performance as the corded Multi-Max at all speeds.

Features in a Nutshell:

  • Separate on/off switch and speed control
  • 3,000 – 21,000 oscillations per minute
  • soft-start and electric break
  • on-tool battery gauge
  • compatible with all Dremel oscillating accessories and attachments
  • Compact and ergonomically designed

The 8300-01 cordless Multi-Max kit will include the oscillating tool, two 12V Max Li-Ion batteries, a one-hour charger, deluxe storage case and 7 Dremel oscillating accessories. The kit is priced at $150 USD, and will be available nationwide starting October 2010.
