Bosch PS60 12V Compact Cordless Reciprocating SawThat’s right, Bosch’s new PS11-2A pivoting head RA drill isn’t the only new addition to their 12V Max lineup. For the longest time there has been a hole in the lineup, a lack of a traditional cutting tool, and the PS60-2A compact reciprocating saw fills that need well.

Resembling Milwaukee’s popular and fairly well reviewed M12 Hackzall saw both form-factor and spec-wise, the PS60’s motor delivers a similar 3,000 stroke per minute and with a stroke length of 14.5mm, or a hair greater than 1/2 inch.

Blade-change is tool-free, and the blade can be mounted in either orientations. A series of short reciprocating saw blades will also be available.

The PS60-2A kit includes 2 1.5Ah lithium ion batteries, a 30-minute charger, 1 metal cutting blade, and 1 all-purpose blade. It is available now (or at least very, very soon) for ~$160. We also expect for the PS60 to be available as part of a combo kit with one or more of Bosch’s compact drill drivers.

Is “BOSCH” afraid of “BRUS HLESS” {the latter is like pulling teeth}. I wish I had a dime for every time I’ve been asked if there is going to be the “brute-brus hless”……..victor.
