While taking another look through the new Sears/Craftsman tool catalog, we spotted some good looking garage shelving units. One of the most appealing features of these new floor-standing Craftsman shelving units are their adjustable sides that can be mounted above or below the shelf surface.

If mounted up, the adjustable sides can be used to create containment walls that prevent items from possibly falling to the floor. If mounted down, a flat surface is created to allow for extra-wide items. This could also come in handy if additional units were mounted adjancently to make the most out of each and every available cubic inch of space.

There are several configurations available: 36″W x 18″D x 74″H, 48″W x 24″D x 74″H, and corner units with 33″W x 33″D x 74″H. The choice of shelving colors is between red and black, and platinum grey and black colors.

Sorry, this design came out more than 10 years ago. I’m sure you can still buy other styles of newer Craftsman garage shelving.
