Joby just added a new magnetic flexible legged mini tripod to their Gorillapod lineup. Our biggest gripe with the Gorillatorch, although minor, is that we could not [easily] modify it for use with 3rd party flashlights.
Although the new Gorillapod Magnetic is intended for use with P&S cameras, it shouldn’t be too difficult to craft a custom flashlight bracket to mate with its 1/4″ tripod screw.

The Gorillapod Magnetic with its Neodymium-tipped feet can support up to 325 grams (11.5oz) and is priced at $25. While currently only available for preorder, these pods should be shipping soon.
