NexTorch Flashlight Batteries NT123A Fire Hazard Recall

If you’ve got a NexTorch flashlight (sold via Amazon, law enforcement supply stores, and elsewhere) that runs off of 3V NT123A batteries like the one pictured, discontinue use of the battery and check to see if it’s part of a new recall.

NexTorch is recalling the series of batteries that features a ™ sign, due to risk of overheating and rupturing, which can pose a safety hazard. Newer batteries with an ® next to the brand name are not being recalled.
