Heads-up: The World Maker Faire kicks off in NYC in just 10 days. It looks to be a huge event, bigger and better than ever before. We hope to stop by to check out the latest projects, home fabrication tech, and overall science/engineering/DIY/art fun.

World Maker Faire (NYC at Hall of Science)

There will also be a mini-Maker Faire at Columbus Ohio. We’ve been told that the Power Tool Racing Championships is still open for registration. Yes, that’s exactly what it sounds like. Got a power tool no longer fit for duty? Racing it is a great way to give it new life while showing off your creativity and engineering skills.
