PB Swiss BikeTool a Compact Bike Tool Kit

We have learned that the PB Swiss BikeTool we previewed last month is now available for sale. One of the things I find particularly useful about this kit is that it features user-replaceable 1-inch insert bits.

The BikeTool has about everything needed for the most common on-the-go emergency adjustment, repair, and maintenance tasks. Weighing in at 3.5 ounces and measuring 3.98 x 1.42 x 0.83 inches, it’s built to stow away neatly into bike saddle bags, hydration and day packs, or even in a jersey pocket.

I have to agree with you there, the tool’s $47 pricetag is a tad bit higher than I expected it to be. It’s only slightly cheaper from European distributors at 29.4 Euro excluding VAT, which is about $43 USD.

    Nice tool, but too expensive.

I can put something together just as useful for much less cash.

I wouldn’t mind it if they only had the wrench, the hex head/bit adapter, and the bits and cut down the cost since it’s a nice and compact way of carrying full-sized, universal bits and a basic hex. Of course I suppose that would be almost the same as just having their Bit Case, but with bike friendly bits included.
