PB Swiss & Wiha Sales on Amazon

Jul 29, 2010 Stuart 6 Comments

Wiha Screwdriver Score

ToolGuyd contributor JeffD wanted to share these photos of his recent Amazon.com purchases. Can you guess what the total cost was for the above screwdrivers? Go head, guess.

$6.17. That’s right, Jeff spent little more than $1 per driver. How did he do it? Savy searching. How can you do the same? Take another look at our Amazon Shopping Cart Tactics post.

Searching for heavily discounted Wiha screwdrivers usually works wonders as well. But, that won’t help you find products which are on sale but with inaccurately low list prices such as the PB Swiss Torx driver set we mentioned the other day.

Good luck, and happy hunting!

Free shipping with Amazon Prime membership.

I myself subscribe to Amazon Prime. Yes, it does cost $79 a year, but if you order from them frequently, it’s definitely worth it.

I agree with Stuart if you shop much at all at Amazon the prime memerbship cannot be beat! I have had it a couple of years and wouldn’t go w/out it.

For all those not on bored with amazon prime yet you should know that with on amazon prime membership you can invite up to 4 “family” members to enjoy the perks of amazon prime on your membership witch include free 2 day shipping on any size order from amazon (not other retailers on amazon) and for $3.99 per item you get next day air shipping.

So if you like free fast shipping and order stuff online more than 6 times a year its worth it

Even before I had my Amazon Prime membership, I always got free shipping. All you have to do is make sure your order totals 25.00. It’s not hard to find 25.00 worth of things you need, especially with no tax. I realize that not everything on Amazon qualifies for free shipping, but most things I have ever bought did qualify.

Yes, “free super saver shipping” on $25+ orders was nice, but 2-day shipping is totally awesome.

Plus, $4 per item one-day shipping is great for special circumstances. I’ve taken advantage of this a few times when I REALLY needed something quick, including a 35 lb printer.
