About one week ago, there was a thread on the Garage Journal forums asking about how one would bury their tools if faced with an unforeseen disaster. Without a doubt, I would definitely use Plano’s waterproof containers for the task if I had enough on hand.
These Plano containers are water resistant, durable, and fairly inexpensive. These features make them a good choice over costlier Pelican and Otterbox cases for applications when you don’t need heavier duty water resistance or protection. Certain models come with handy pull-out trays.

I bought 20 of these water proof storage containers at cabela’s. When I got home there were no gaskets in any of them. These are suppose to be waterproof. Should I return them for an exchange or can you send me the gaskets that are suppose to be in them?
Stuart
If 20 of them don’t have gaskets, my guess is that they’re not designed to have gaskets. If you want something with gaskets, return them and buy something else. Maybe contact Plano and see what they say?
