It looks like Lowes may be trying to jump-start the holiday shopping season by dropping the prices on two popular Porter Cable combo cordless tool kits.

Porter Cable’s 2-piece 18V tool kit (model PC218C-2) includes a PC1800D drill/driver, a PC186CS 6-1/2″ circular saw, and two batteries plus a charger. The kit has dropped in price from a reasonable $109 to an astonishingly low $89.

Porter Cable’s 4-piece 18V combo tool kit (model PC418C-2) includes a PC1800D drill/driver, PC186CS 6-1/2″ circular saw, PC1800RS reciprocating saw, PC1800L flashlight, and two batteries with a charger. This kit has dropped from $159 to $129.

These new lower prices should be available both online and in-store.

Here is the home depot link to the Ryobi 4 piece kit (#P842). At the local store it was marked down from the exact same prices – $159 down to $129

It has a surprising number of good reviews.
