Over at Woot.com, they’re selling refurbished Dremel Multi-Max Oscillating Tool Kits for $60 plus $5 shipping. In case you’re not familiar with Woot, they’re a reputable “one deal a day” retailer.
Since this is a one deal a day offering, when Woot sells out, you’re out of luck. There’s also the chance that their stock will be depleted before the day ends. In other words, the deal ends at midnight (central time) Sept. 5th, or when Woot sells out, whichever comes first.

The Dremel Multi-Max sells for about $105 new at Amazon and in-store, so $65 shipped is a decent deal. We usually prefer to buy new tools, but that’s a personal preference. A ~40% savings might be enough to sway our favor.

This seems weird to me. The MultiMax came out not long ago, and they already have refurbished ones? That doesn’t sound good.

You can get a brand new oscillating tool from harbor freight for $40. It might not be Fein quality, but I’ve used the heck out of mine the past few weeks and I’m really impressed with it. It makes for super easy cutting of corners, notches, cutouts in drywall, etc.
