Rockler Dust Right Hose and Cord Hook Product Shot

Ben recently wrote about the Rockler Dust Right Hook, for controlling dust hoses and air lines. Prior to the post, myself and Ben talked about the too-high pricing of $15 per hook, but at the time of the posting it had dropped to $10 per hook.

Now, there’s a special kit price of $20 for a pack of 3. That drops the price to around $6.67 each, which seems a LOT more reasonable.

Here’s a quick in-use image, in case you don’t want to check out Ben’s full intro post. They mount to the wall of your workshop, or other fixed-position vertical locations, and provide a neat off-the-floor solution for routing your dust collection hoses, air lines, and power cords.

$15 each was a bit outrageous, $10 each is okay but not quite appealing, but $6.67 each ($20 per 3-pack) is a lot softer on the wallet. To me, it helps the Dust Right Hooks seem more like shop essentials and less like luxury accessories.

I think there is a typo in your article. You mention the pricing drops to $3 per hook if you buy three or more. If that was true, $20 for three would not be a good deal for the kit.

Thanks, corrected! I wish I knew where that typo came from. Maybe an autocorrect issue?

Maybe you were thinking ahead since the price drop for the three pack was about another $3 each?

Okay… I just have one stupid question… What is the top, downward-facing hook for? That’s the only part I don’t get. I can see the rest having a purpose just fine, I just can’t figure out what the downward-facing hook is for.

So you can hang it off a pipe or nail. I think the point is that you can use these as temporary hangers to get your cords and hoses off the floor.
