Over at Home Depot, they have a Ryobi 18V One+ 7-tool cordless power tool combo on sale, today only, for $179.
This combo tool kit, P1909N, features a drill/driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, hand vac, LED work light, glue gun, detail sander, charger, (2) compact battery packs, starter screwdriver and drill bit set, and a carrying bag.

There aren’t much details about the tools in this kit, but they all look to be Ryobi’s entry-level offerings. The saw size, for example, looks to be their 5-1/2″ model.
Probably not bad for a homeowner or new DIYer’s first set of power tools.

I don’t think that’s even the LED light. I’d suggest also looking at the $199 kit which has better batteries, better drill / recip, and includes the JobPlus and mid-level impact.

Looks like the P705 LED flashlight.
If not, where/how do you change the bulb?

The product description calls it an LED light.
Tempting because it doesn’t waste 2 out of the 7 tools on both a drill and a driver, but i think the lack of the 4 A-h batteries is probably a deal breaker for me. I’m getting into Ryobi eventually for the excellent cordless nailers, some of the auxiliary and esoteric tools (glue gun, hybrid fan, etc) and OPE, but watching for a discount offering that provides a cheap entrance without too much duplication of my m12 tools.

Ryobi battery chargers , not many of them work more than a few days????????????????
Then its time to buy another! etc
Stuart
I have not had that experience, nor have I heard lots of complaints about them. What issues have you been experiencing?

My first Ryobi charger is going on 4 months …

I’ve had the same charger for about 4 years now and still works great

I just bought a new Ryobi super fast charger but the standard charger I just sold was around six years old and still going strong. I have had 2 Milwaukee chargers fail in that time though.

Mine have been going strong. The black ones are relatively slow tho, that’s my only complaint. The green ones are fast enough and I have enough batteries anyway I never seem to outpace it.
