Sears Craftsman Holiday Tool Catalog 2011

Sears’ 2011 holiday tool catalog arrived by mail last week, so you may have already seen it. If not, don’t fret, you can view the entire catalog online as well.

There are quite a few new tools featured in the catalog, including a few Craftsman hand and power tools.

If you did not receive the catalog in the mail, you can sign up for Sears’ tool catalogs here. The same link will take you to a list of tool catalogs you can browse digitally.

Don’t laugh, but I look forward to this catalog every year, ever since they first came out a few (3?) years ago.

I think I liked the catalogs better when they sold tools and not polo shirt-wearing salespeople. I guess I also liked it better when they sold only real tools and not nighttime sunglasses and solar flashlights, only Craftsman brand, with a lifetime warranty, made in America. And every tool they made was in the catalog. That made it a catalog instead of an advertising flyer.

I definitely see your point there. Still, I always manage to find a couple of neat new or unfamiliar tools that I’ve never seen before. I actually ordered a few such items out of the catalog last night.

I’ve always enjoyed browsing through catalogs and fondly remember reading and rereading the holiday-season ToysRUs booklet, and picking up a Radio Shack catalog whenever I was really, really bored.
