Senco Fusion Cordless Nailers Are on the Way!

Senco’s new line of cordless Fusion nailers are scheduled to begin shipping to retailers very, very soon. These nailers represent a revolutionary step forward in power fastening technology by combining the power and performance of a pneumatic nailer with the convenience and portability of cordless electric and fuel cell models, without any of the drawbacks.

These 18V Fusion nailers deliver up to 500 fasteners per charge, and can be charged to 80% capacity in just 15 minutes. The tools require no cleaning, no maintenance, no fuel cells, no air hoses, and no compressors to operate.

Each Fusion nail gun features a piston that is mechanically driven backwards into a permanently sealed self-contained nitrogen-filled cylinder, which compresses the gas. When a tool’s trigger is pulled, its piston is released with a force that drives fastener forward. The piston is then reset to re-pressurizes the nitrogen chamber.

There are currently two Fusion tools heading to market, an 18-gauge brad nailer (FN55AX), and a 15-gauge  finish nailer (FN65DA).

For more information, check out Senco’s Fusion product demonstration video over at their microsite for the new product lineup.
