SK Hand Tool Warranty Policy Now Up

Ideal/SK Hand Tool posted new warranty information on their website. As expected, it states that they are not obligated to fulfill warranty requests but will do so anyways starting in March. At that time you can bring your warranty claims to a local SK distributor at no charge, or mail them to SK along with a $5 fee.

Unfortunately, I’ve been to the local S-K dealer ( Savage Hardware ) in Norwich, CT. Only to be told they will NOT honor the factory warranty as S-K refuses to timely credit the dealer for replacement parts.

I sent a box of broken SK tools to the warranty center and got them back within 3 weeks and that was with the Holidays. I will still buy SK whenever I can.!!

Sk needs to have warranty exchange outlets, let’s face it they cost as much as snap on now,I love sk tools but unless they get a hold on convenient, replacement, they will not survive, and I do hate that.I have used sk tools 35 years but am fixing to go with snap on,can see there trucks at most garages and get a return,c,Mon sk
