Skil iXO Cordless Screwdriver Vivo Kit

Voodoo wrote in with a tip that the Skil iXO cordless screwdriver is on sale for just $20. Not only that, this is the “Vivo” wine opener kit, which you might or might not care about.

According to a recent Bosch international press release, the iXO is the world’s favorite power tool, with 5 generations out there and more than 1 million produced each year.

It is quite a good deal to get this red version of Bosch iXO III for 20 bucks. This set even come with a wine opener.

There are more options available overseas, with the newest iXO attachment being a “BBQ blower fan.”

The Skil iXO is a capable and handy 3.6V/4V Max cordless screwdriver. This version has been available for a while, and my thoughts are that there’s overstock left over from the holiday season.

At $20, this is a great buy, even if you don’t care at all about the wine-opening corkscrew attachment and other wine-related accessories.

Price: $20 with free Prime or Supersaver ($35+ order) shipping. It’s normally priced at ~$50.

This kit is also eligible for the SKil $15 off $75+ holiday discount that ends today (12/31/2015).

Thank you to Voodoo for the tip!

Stuart, as always, thanks for the updates on all the great deals but you’ve cost me a fortune this holiday season. ;). Too many good deals to resist.

Happy New Year and thanks for running such a great Web site with interesting content. A bunch of really good commentators too.

Sure but how does the opener interface? Just 1/4″ hex? I’m guessing there’s some way to use this w other power tools…..

    Happy New Year Stuart

Hope you keep up the extraordinary ToolGuyd Blog in the new year.

I don’t need this – especially not for tonight’s Prosecco – but I like the opener I used during the holidays – think its this one (or the same make with a different wood):
