Snap-on has been putting their name on all kinds of things these days, from “cordless” worklights, to nailers and saws. One of their newest licensed products is this LED worklight, which offers wide illumination via a 16-LED strip, and flashlight illumination via a 1-Watt module.
The worklight is built from anodized aluminum and high-impact plastic, and is also said to be weather-resistant. A rubberized grip helps keep it in your hand, and a magnetic base helps with hands-free positioning.

If you want one, it’s available at PepBoys retail stores, model #92421, for $10. It’s powered by 3x AAA batteries, which are included in the price.

Why would Snap On do this ?
Dan Richards
Snap-On licensed their name, logo and colors to Alltrade.

Snap-On doesn’t make these type of items, they’re only selling the use of the name. You’ll see plenty of these items around Christmas.

It’s a win-win situation. Snap on gets money from alltrade for prostituting their name. Alltrade makes all sorts of stuff that isn’t really a snap on tool in red and sells it everywhere. Unknowning people buy something with Snapon on it for their friends, relatives, loved ones etc. as a gift because they love anything with snap on on it. The stuff you buy branded Snap on from costco to ace to sears and many auto parts stores in between can’t be found on a snap on truck and the good swag sold on a truck can’t be found anywhere else.
