Alex wrote in, asking for some EDC recommendations and reviews.
Can you recommend a website that deals in reviews of flashlights and EDC ?

Absolutely!
ToolGuyd – That’s us!
To start, we have some EDC tool, knife, and flashlight reviews right here. There’s more in the pipeline as well, and we’re happy to answer any specific requests.
Everyday Commentary
Everyday Commentary is run by Anthony Sculimbrene, who we begged/convinced to contribute to ToolGuyd as well. I have been following his reviews for a long time now – at least 7 years. Tony’s reviews are balanced, insightful, methodical, and generally enjoyable to read.
Even if some of what he reviews is above what you’re looking to spend, you’re guaranteed to learn about something that can be applied to other brands or products.
Candle Power Forums
CPF, a public forum, is a good place to learn about flashlight tech or new trends, and you’ll quickly find reviews and recommendations across a broad price range.
With any public forum, keep in mind that there are enthusiasts of all experience levels, mindsets, and with different budgets.

Blade Forums
Blade forums is a great community to learn from when it comes to EDC knives, especially when it comes to lesser-known brands or styles.
EDC Forums
The EDC Forum is a general EDC topic community, with sub-forums that cover flashlights and of course other EDC gear categories.
Reddit has very many compartmentalized forums, such as one for flashlights, and another for EDC. I have only recently started browsing Reddit more occasionally, and have found that there’s a lot of great content and A information there, but it’s not as strong as a primary source of information as separate enthusiast forums.
Other forums often have sub-forums and categories that allow for more focused filtering, such as if you want to read only about headlamps, or a specific brand of folding knife.
I have also found Reddit to be more beginner-friendly. While forums are often beginner friendly, there are fewer discussions for beginners with less experience or lower budgets.
YouTuber Nick Shabazz
Nick Shabazz is a knife reviewer. His videos can be a little long, but I like his tone, fairness, and his seeming desire to impart information and insight. Too many reviewers and social media “influencers” these days try a little too hard to sell something to their audience, or grow their audience using “clickbait,” but Nick come across to me as more genuine. He mixes in some flashlight reviews occasionally.

Nick Shabazz has drifted to far towards the high end market for me in the past year, but he’s great if you’re into that.
Brian “Slicey Dicey” is a good objective reviewer to mid to higher range stuff
Paddy’s Potato Peelers is a great for budget, gearbest, aliexpress type stuff.
And Pete at “Cedric & ada gear and outdoors” is the king of testing durability of different steels and different brands by actual cut testing
These are all YouTube

I agree, Nick seems to have deeper pockets since moving to Cali. His comparisons and insights are very helpful, though.
